I have two of the 1912 Overshirts and have been using them as light jackets since last spring. I purchased the first one in size Large and had to exchange it for a Med. It runs very large. After I got the correct size I loved it ! Soft and comfortable and great colors.

This overshirt runs a bit large and the flexible knitted fabric will look baggy if it doesn't fit right. It is also physically heavy. Worst of all, the buttonholes were a bit too small for the buttons and I struggled to unbutton and re-button the shirt. Returned.

This shirt exceeded my expectation. The photo does not capture the beautiful red & orange pattern adequately. The PS fit was spot on for my 5'3" 108 lb 34D frame. LLBean quality fabric, fit and construction. This shirt will be a staple in my wardrobe for decades. That's what I love about LLBean - quality I can count on. Please don't change a thing!

Perfect weight for slipping over a t-shirt or as an extra layer over long sleeves during camping or as the evening cools down. LOVE the pockets!

I usually purchased a regular medium, however they sold out, so I went with a large petite size. I really like the colors and the thickness of this shirt. Not too heavy you can wear a lighter shirt underneath. Would buy again.

This twill weave shirt is a little heftier in weight than a typical twill weave. It provides a little extra warmth, layers nicely over a base layer, and is so comfortable to wear. I have several 1912 overshirts in various colors and enjoy them all.

I want more in every color. They are great for everyday work.

Love the colors , heavy weight fabric that feels very comfortable even after washing. My regular size wasn't available (M) so ordered petite Large, perfect fit after shrinking a bit.

I got this in a muted rose color, petite medium. This runs true to size so size up of your are worried about shrinkage. The button holes are a little tight. This shirt jacket is really nice for layering.

I bought this shirt for myself and my husband's mother; we both love them! 100% cotton, substantial weight and feels like great quality. This is my second of these overshirts, and will continue to "collect" them as we live in cooler weather for much of the year! Fitted and flattering without being tight, pockets on the sides, and the collar keeps its shape / lookikg sharp.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 5 yrs to replace my old shirts! Most are NEVER 100% cotton, & colors were not great. Turquoise is my fav color, it brightens pale people up in winter!! (Next yr I'm still hoping for Turquoise, I know there are more of us out there!! Teal was a close 2nd. I LOVE HAVING POCKETS FOR WHEN I WALK. FABRIC WAS NOT SCRATCHY. BEST SHIRT EVER!!!!!! (Got Pettite bec others were sold out but is was fine)

i love the fit and style. These type of shirts can sometimes look frumpy or manly, and this shirt looks clean and still has that warm soft feel.

I was surprised at how soft this shirt is and the weight is substantial so it really does work well as a jacket, the sleeves are roomy so it fits well over multiple layers. Great for outings where I don't want a purse it has enough pockets to hold my essentials.

Great fit perfect weight for keeping out the chill

Not gonna lie: I had in mind that I'd wear this on a "catch your dinner" lobster fishing day trip in late August and it was perfect. It was heavy enough to add an extra layer in the ocean breeze --it's got a nice, thick texture and is all-cotton -- but light enough for a summer afternoon. And it has pockets! Both inside and out. It's got a good, boxy fit, and will be nice over a light sweater going into the fall and coming into the spring, and it's perfect for cool summer evenings. Super versatile. The chambray trim on the sleeve and front plackets is fresh and nice.

When I got it I was ready to send it back because I thought it was too droopy and heavy. But after a few washes and l hung it outside on the line, it's comfy and just right for a little extra warmth. I love the large side pockets.

I gave this shirt to my daughter for maternity wear. She loved the softness and the ability to wear it open, over a shell. She said she got lots of compliments on the blue Overshirt.

I couldn't love this shirt anymore than I do. The fabric is so comfortable and the colors are beautiful. I'm hoping there are some new plaid patterns next fall as I already bought two. I also bought one as a gift because it is such a great shirt! The regular medium is a bit oversized on me as I'm 5'2 but I like it that way! I also bought a petite medium which is a perfect fit.

Soft and good midweight alternative to a jacket when it's not that cold.

Love the texture, the length, the many pockets, the plaid and the fact that it is vintager!

Greatest shirt ever. Very generous in the fit and the pockets are such a bonus. After a wash it still looks great.
