I started buying the 1912 hoodie 5-7 years ago. They were of really good quality. In December of 2023, I bought a new one and was thinking of buying another but have changed my mind. After 2 washings (I wash gentle and dry gentle), the elbows and sleeves are pebbled. It feels awful when I touch it. My old ones are in better shape, even though the dye has worn off. This is not an inexpensive item and I am unhappy. I'm not going to return it, but I'm sad because LL BEAN used to sell well made clothes.

I purchased this jacket to replace the one I bought several years back. The zipper failed on the one previously bought, but other than that it was in perfect condition. The new one I ordered looked almost exactly like the one I already had. What a disappointment when it came and I opened it. It was half the weight, very cheaply made, and almost twice the price that I had paid for the one I had.Not worth the money.

I was disappointed because it looked warmer than it was. I was cold in it - inside and outdoors. Too bad since it looked good.

Sleeves are very tight. I way this can be worn over a sweatshirt. I was hoping this would be comparable to the men's, NOT! Once again, the men's are far superior to the women's selections

Way too small. Disappointing. No one who is size 2x wants a tight fitting jacket. I couldn't even zip it yet other items I have purchased from LL Bean fit me and one, a robe, was even too big. inconsistent sizing. The quality is great - the details. Since I can't depend on the sizing and have to pay postage to return items - and wait for my refund while they process it - I won't be buying any more clothes from LL Bean.

This is made so poorly...Beware I ordered on line and did not see it until it arrived...It was a wanted Christmas request so ill keep it but i will never order on line with out seeing the product...

Sherpa fleece was very thinreturned the item because it did not have the weight I was expecting

This sweatshirt was just what I was looking for. I really wanted it in light grey but settled for the charcoal. I couldn't wait to receive it. When it arrived, I tried it on. I was so disappointed. The back of the sweatshirt had been cut too long and just sewn into the band so there was a "bubble" of extra fabric right where I didn't need it. What has happened to the quality of LL Bean products? I have never received a defective product from them until now. Needless to say, I returned it. Too bad. The fabric quality was excellent and the lining was toasty warm. I am soooooooo disappointed.

So disappointed in this purchase. This hoodie could not keep you warm. Much to thin. Also one sleeve was so out of shape. And this cost me $6.50 to return. LLBean your slipping, no longer do u sell top of the line products... No

Very soft but very bulky. Cozy but very sloppy looking

What good is a hoodie if you can't zip it?

The zipper you pay a lot of money the fabric is fabulous you can't even zip the zipper I would never buy another thing from L.L. Bean with a zipper!

A really warm and cozy jacket for chilly days when working outside, and comfy for wearing indoors on those super cold days! It fits true to size.

The fabric was dull and not at all what I saw in the photo. I gave it away. UGH

The sleeves are unlined. Why line the hood and skip the sleeves? Returned it.

Nope. Material felt thin, cheap, and overpriced; garment itself was tight even in a size L. It took me about 10 seconds to decide to send it back. I expect better quality from LL Bean. Very disappointed.

Was a fan of Beans since the 1970's. No longer. Their quality and sizing is a joke, for what one pays, even on sale.

Even putting this jacket on the fleece clung to my cotton knit tee shirt . The jacket is very pretty and my husband said so. YAY. I am returning this jacket. I do not need another fight in my life.

The picture made me assume that the entire hoodie was lined with Sherpa fleece. It was not. I need my arms to be as warm as the rest of me. It should have stated this more clearly, I returned this item. (Yes it was stated,) I love LlBean products and this is the first one I returned because I thought it was something else.

Hoodie is NOT LINED WITH SHERPA - it's artificial-looking fake fur. Extremely disappointing, especially since it was a gift.

Your sizing is the problem for me. I am an 8-10 so the small is too little and the medium is too big. Bring back numbered sizes!

When it's cold enough to want a Sherpa lining in a shirt jacket, the item needs lined sleeves as well as lined body. The body is toasty. The sleeves are much too thin.

I'm very disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of this hoodie. I will not be purchasing anything from LL Bean in the future.
