I purchased this sweatshirt in four different colors around 2020 and the decline in quality compared to the new model is shocking. depressing. difficult to believe.. LLBean was always more expensive but there was quality and the purchase was worth it. Those days are over I'm afraid.

This jacket runs small. I wear a size 1x and I ordered a 2x and it was too small. So you need to order up a few sizes. This is a great looking jacket but the fit is not for a plus size person

The sherpa on this hoodie looks super cheap. You can see stitching between the rows of sherpa. The sherpa material looks like it'll immediately clump up in the wash. The sleeves are not lined. It is 60% cotton in the arms, so good luck getting toasty. I totally returned this.

It's warm, I'll give it that. The stitching on the zipper started coming apart after 1 wash, the arms are a little short which isnt usually the case for me with llbean in the past. Also, this is an exchange for a return which took almost two months to hear back from llbean and then they said they didn't have this one ( which is what I requested as the exchange) in stock so they sent me a gift card. I went online and the website said it was available so I ordered it, then I get another disappointment once it arrives. Once I get this returned and my next selection it'll probably be July. Disappointing quality, service and experience, will rethink buying from llbean in the future.

The jacket isn't as thick and plush as you'd expect for the price. There's barely enough room for your hands in the pockets. My phone actually fell out of the pocket when I sat down in a furniture store. One of the staff in the store called my phone and walked around with me until we heard it ringing. Disappointed which is unusual with LL Bean products.

I invest in one of these Sherpa lined hoodies every year. By now I have four in different colors, but I think this year's green is the prettiest. I live in them all winter because they are so cozy and warm. They also fit me perfectly and look nice enough for a walk, shopping, or visiting friends.

I had a sherpa lined jacket years ago, but not having the sleeves lined means it is not warm. The jacket is well made but basically I wasted my money on it. Very disappointed.

I was expecting this jacket to fit like the older one I have that I like. It was too, too big. My fault in my thinking. Looked at size chart , etc. but still the jacket was too long and too wide in the body.

I sent it back because the sleeves are not lined otherwise it might have been fine.

Fabric quality is not as it has been in the past. I have returned the merchandise.

This sweatshirt is incredibly soft and warm but it's not all that flattering. It is quite boxy and not fitted around the hips.

Disappointed that the hoodie was not sherpa-lined in the sleeves

I'm a long-time Bean customer, so I have an earlier version of this sweatshirt. The fleece in the earlier ones is thicker and finer, doesn't come off on one's clothing, and the exterior is a heavy sweatshirt material, not the thin woven softer outer of the new one. Also, I was surprised to see there is absolutely NO lining in the sleeves vs. the older sweatshirt that has a soft flannel-like liner. I tried it on over a flannel shirt and am still picking off the fuzz. Color is beautiful, but I decided to send it back. I'm not sure it will last as long as the old one and the inside of the sleeves aren't Bean quality.

I am very disappointed in this item. Yes, it is warm. However, the hood does not lie flat when you are not using it, and I found the sizing to be off. I ordered an XL for myself in order to have room to layer (5'6" 165 lbs.). A tee shirt is about all that fits under this hoodie. I also ordered a size L for my daughter as a gift, and am hoping it will be large enough for layering. For the price, I don't think it is worth it.

In information about item before buying, there is no information about sleeves. For such a warm torso, I find the sleeves unlined and able to handle the cold.

I bought this in 2024, good quality, nice lining keeps you warm. i really like this, however, i expected the zipper to last longer than 16 months. The zipper worked until recently, then no longer able to insert to zip. It doesn't look defective, just wont work.

I was very unhappy with the quality of this sweatshirt and returned it. I'd bought one from LLBean a few years ago and they've changed to a lower quality from the crummy zipper to the lighter not warm lining.

The arms are not Sherpa lined. Makes it much less useful.

bought two of these and not happy as the material pills on the arms and I am afraid to wash them as they could make the look of the item worse

this being my second hoodie, as my first has worn out, believing I was getting the same good quallity. I have returned the new one as it is definatly not the quallity I expected from LLBean,Holding both side by side, It weighs a lot less, sleeves are like a thin jersey., Overall, totaly poor quality. Severly wrinkled.

I bought this about one month ago and I was disappointed! It isn't as warm as I had hoped. I bought the same item years ago and it was fabulous and so warm. This new one does not have anything in the arms for warmth. Seeing as it cost $89, I am not happy!

The material on this hoodie is thin and does not keep you warm. The wind and cold go right thru it . I returned it.
