Waterproof and warm. A great asset for rainy weather. True to size. The wool does NOT feel itchy.

This parka was exactly what I was looking for! I was able to use it as a top layer with warmer layers underneath in cold, damp weather and stayed toasty warm. The fit was perfect and it looks stylish. Most of all, the quality was excellent! Good zippers, fabric and pockets. Thank you LL Bean, for still offering useful and well made outerwear!

Excellent winter coat. Wind resistant, wool lining in torso area, warm insulated lining in lower half and sleeves. Zipper is two way, backup snaps. Hood is essential. Perfect for Colorado.

I really like this jacket! Especially all the pockets and hood. The only thing that would make it PERFECT would be a tad more insulation to avoid needing extra layers.

I bought this to have a lightweight, warm coat that I could wear with layers. The fit was perfect for me to wear a quarter zip fleece underneath. I was toasty warm in mid 30 degree temps with a steady wind. It's comfortable and looks great.

My wife's new coat has proven to be comfortable in cold weather, yet light to wear. Has deep pockets, which come in handy and is made of strong material. Definitely would buy this jacket again.

I ordered this for my daughter for university lab work outdoors. She is 5'5 and 135lb, we had to order a large in order to have buffer room for sweater/ sweatshirt bulk. Good quality and she loves it!

This jacket was ordered to replace a very similar one from Bean that had become (ahem) a little tight. I love the design. The wool lining, longer length, and rain-resistant fabric makes this a very versatile garment in cold climates. I prefer the snaps rather than Velcro around the neck hereno snags on my scarf. The black and blue combination that I chose really pops. My previous version of this coat was at last twelve years old and will give years of warmth to its new owner, I'm sure. I'm looking forward to owning this one for that long or more.

So happy this jacket is back!! I had one back in the '82. Loved it then, love it now. Definitely reccomend it for "in-between seasons" in Colorado. I bought a small. Great fit. (I'm 5'2", 134 pounds). Thank you for bringing it back.

Very pleased with my new Parka. The weather has turned fairly Spring-like so it has been too warm to wear it. BUT I have tried it on and like the fit and feel. I have a very similar parka from LLBean that I have had for years. I needed a replacement and am/was thrilled with the service I got at your store in North Bethesda. Susan

I am in love with this coat! It's the perfect mid-weight for early spring in NY state. (I anticipate it being amazing come fall, too.) It has lots of compartments and kept me warm from the wind. I love how it zips high and has a good hood for rainy or snowy days. The checkered lining, toggles, zipper, and dusty pink color bring me right back to being a little girl. This was the style! I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

This jacket is very comfortable. The color is a pretty mauve/pink and it fits beautifully. I absolutely love the pockets (what girl doesn't am I right?).

Was purchased for my elderly mother. She passed away before using it. It was a nice winter coat. Pretty color too.

I love my Baxter State Parka. I walk daily and now with the cold and rain and wind I am very pleased with this coat. Although we have not had the temps some further north have had, we have dipped into the 20s and New England mornings can be raw and quite chilly. Got caught in the rain one morning and the coat kept me quite dry. When temps drop down further I will opt for my fabulous LL Bean ankle length puffy coat (warmest) to keep me snug. Thank you LL Bean for continuing to make products that are excellent quality.

I bought this parka right after moving to Wyoming in early December 2013. It turned out to be a brutal Winter from the get go. This Baxter State Parka was up to the job of protecting me and keeping me warm, even though I had a heart murmur that required surgery to enable me to survive. Staying warm is extremely important, especially for those of us with cardiac issues! The pockets are great, roomy enough to hold a large set of keys while keeping them secure. The hood has a removable faux fur trim that protects my face from blizzard conditions, whether I am shoveling snow or headed to the store for supplies and groceries. I love this parka. Thank you for bringing it back year after year!
