Soft and comfy really like the fit.ordered two in different colors

Originally I ordered the Petite small size that I usually get, but the shirt was humongous on me, so I returned it. ( I weigh 125 lbs.) I then ordered the petite extra small and it fits nicely. It's still loose enough to not feel restrictive, but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a tent. The fabric on the red color feels a little stiff, but it's cotton, so it'll soften up with repeated washings. I love the more fitted style and with that LL.Bean offered this type of style more often. The vintage teal color is super soft and beautiful.

Love the heritage chamois shirts and have for years! I bought the deep wine colored shirt to replace an ancient one that was disintegrating. I have the waffle henley shirt in wine and love the monochromatic look. Wish L.L. Bean would make more of the waffle henley and chamois shirts in matching colors. I pretty much live in these chamois shirts over a waffle knit henley all fall and winter. Cozy, soft and fit well. I wash on delicate and line dry to preserve them.

I'm a size 12 or Med and it fit perfectly weight 159. The fiber is thicker and quite soft. I can see it is made well. The color is rich looking. I am able to wear a turtleneck under it.

Great quality and warm. Have 3 so far. They wash great and get softer each time. Colors are fantastic!

Bean's chamois shirts are amazingly warm of course, but casual. However, the tunic length also has a polished, elegant look to it that the shirt length does not have. Yet for some reason, hardly any colors are available in the tunic. Greens, blues, and classic black should be staples. (As should a true red -- instead of or in addition to the tunic in the orange-y rust color being sold this year). I'm also putting in a vote for less-pastel pink, purple, or a berry/fuschia color in between pink and purple. Please offer more colors and consider offering most colors in TWO lengths.

Soft, heavier weight than my flannels, nice and warm. Perfect for cold days to layer with a T shirt.

Purchased this for a trip to Norway during the Fall shoulder season. I ordered up to use it as a n outer layer. The fabric is soft and cozy and very comfortable to wear in cooler weather. I was pleased with the fit and quality.

Great feel, the material is soft, the color is rich. I like that the length and sleeves are a little longer than the older Chamois I have.

I have been wearing LLBean chamois shirts for at least 25 years. They are now frayed but new ones haven't been available. Here they are again and I've ordered 6!!

Just received this shirt in Peacock Blue... great color! It was softer than I expected and feels like a warm, heavy weight flannel. As a petite person ordering the regular cut (instead of petite), I was a little bit nervous that it would be too boxy, or that I would be swimming in the regular, but the cut is a little fitted and it looks nice. It actually looks very similar to the model in the photo, with the sleeves and hem lookong just slightly longer but not too big and baggy. So glad I got this while it was on sale! It will be perfect for Maine falls and winters. I will probably wear it for years to come!

I bought this shirt to wear during the cold weather so I haven't worn it yet. I plan on it being a staple in my winter wardrobe. It's made very well and fits perfectly. I always wash new clothes and it washed and dried beautifully.

I have worn these shirts for many years and love them in the colder months as an outer layer. I don't wear sweatshirts because I am always pushing up the sleeves and then they just stretch and no longer stay up. The chamois shirt solves this problem since I can just roll up the sleeves as needed and then roll them down when I am done with a job. They are as warm as any sweatshirt and soft with a perfect fit for me.

Fit is wonderful and it's comfortable. I am very happy with it!
