Really soft and comfy. Great over the turtlenecks for a cool weather walk.

Wearing my shirt now: SO warm & comfy! I buy my chamois shirts a little large so they work over other layers. Picked the navy color to wear with several t-shirts and turtlenecks that I already have; Bean's, of course. Welcome to the cool Fall weather so I can wear this shirt a lot.

This is so warm and is well made. I love it. It is also fashionable.

The nice, thick fabric is good for wearing in the fall weather. I can also wear a Small Regular with the slightly longer sleeves, but I wanted a slightly roomier body for layering and went with a Medium Petite. Nice deep wine color. I have some of the Women's Heritage Chamois shirts in other colors in the style without the pocket flaps. The chamois shirts hold up over time.

As a senior "fluffy" woman, let me say it is about time LL Bean offered their infamous chamois shirt in Plus sizes! I was not always in the plus size range, and I loved my chamois shirts! Mens sizing don't quite cut it, as the sleeves are way too long. You can only roll the cuff just so many times! Thank you for remembering us!

The shirt fit well and arrived in a timely manor. The reason for only 4 stars was that I thought it would be softer and less stiff after washing it, but it was not. I wear it layered and opened over a thin shirt. When the weather gets warm, I will use it as a light jacket.

It fits well. It is very warm. Unfortunately , even after a few washings, it is stiff.

Lovely shirt but my usual (M) which has always been roomy enough was too thighs across the chest & upper back in this shirt. For reference 5'3" 145 lbs 32F. unfortunately returned as I was sure shrinkage would occur

Nice shirt. Warm and cozy for these winter months in Maine. I rated it 4 star only because the light color shows dirt and spills more easily, but that's not LL Beans fault. The gold color is pretty and adds to the ambience of warmth.

Same great fabric, but the collar seems unusually small. It isn't tight around the neck, the fold-over part of the collar is small. I like to flip up the collar to cover my ears in the cold... this is impossible with this shirt. I like the vintage teal color, the fit is great.

Soft and thick which is why I purchased the shirt.

I bought one of these shirts a few years ago and do not wear it much because it's snug through the shoulders and the sleeves are too short for me (by about 2 inches). I thought going up a size would solve that (from a regular XL to a 1X). It does fit better through the shoulders, I'll definitely be able to layer over a shirt, but the sleeves are still a bit too short for me. I wish they made this shirt in a Tall size as they do in the scotch plaid flannel (because sometimes a lady wants a solid color to wear not a plaid). Saying all this, I got the Peacock blue on sale and it's a beautiful color, I love the thickness of the material.

I bought this shirt in the blue and gold colors. Like most LLB products it runs generous so i sized down to XS. I'm 5'3", 113 lbs. The quality is very good, the colors are rich, and the shirt is warm. My only complaint is that the fabric is a bit stiff (even after the washer and dryer) so I wear it over a long sleeve tee. It is also more boxy than fitted, like a man's shirt. But it's so hard to find a solid colored flannel I am keeping both colors. It's cute w jeans and boots.

I own several heritage chamois shirts. This one is my favorite colors. The light green is a great spring /Easter color. I only gave it 4 stars because the material is a little thinner than some of my older heritage chamois.

I purchased this Chamois Shirt in a Size Large using the suggested sizing and based on the Flannel shirts from LLBean I already have; however, the large was cut very small so I had to return it. If I had exchanged for the XL size it would have been too large. It is made very nice and great material. Very disappointed that the description does not say this shirt is cut smaller. Will not order online again because you lose money.

Great quality. This shirt is soft yet sturdy. The "petite" style is a perfect fit. I predict a will wear this shirt for a long time. The older model of this shirt had pockets without flaps, which I preferred. Otherwise, still a great product.

A chamois shirt from Bean will last for years, thanks to its thickness and the fact that I handwash and air dry it. I love the blue one I bought last year. Nice, comfortable fit that allows a tee underneath. Sorry to say this year's pink turned out to be the saddest shade of pink I've ever seen. But I will wear it for the great feel, and I'll just have to smile bigger when I wear it!

have 4 of these shirts from previous years and the fit was perfect but the style has changed some and they r too long and big now...so sad because i loved the original cut.

i ordered a 2X which is a little large for me. It's only been washed & dried once so we'll see if any later shrinking occurs. It is a nice weight, soft, & warm and I really like the vintage turquoise color.

Women's chamois shirts are perfect gifts that lead to future customers

Like another commenter mentioned, this is a weird fit. On me the shoulders were huge while the chest was tight. The colors are pretty. The fabric will probably look rough and worn quickly which seems to be a problem across brands and price points these days. I am 5'2", 119#, 36A and the xs and small both fit about the same.

I ordered my usual size, but it fits a little snug. Wish I could try on the next size larger. Love the shirt, though.
