Bought these for a rafting trip, really impressed by the fit and fabric. Seems like they will dry quickly and be really comfortable for camping, hiking, beach trips. The fit is relaxed and a bit more loose. I normally wear a 4 and the small is perfect. Ordering another pair!

These might be the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. They were delivered yesterday. I tried them on as soon as I opened the package and have barely taken them off since then. They're light and drapy but not at all frumpy. The wide elastic at the waist doesn't pinch while keeping the pants where they need to be - no riding up or sliding down. And the waist tie doesn't make the waist ban bunch up. The cinch at the ankle gives the option of a stylish jogger-pant look with just a quick pull of the string. I love the practicality of the pockets - zip pockets at the hip that zip and unzip with ease. And the zippers aren't irritating to wrists when hands are in said pockets. The cargo pockets don't add bulk to the thighs. I rarely pay full price for clothing. But these were absolutely worth it, especially if considering cost per anticipated wear! As I write this review I'm trying to decide on another color. Or maybe two. Best pants ever!

I've been on a quest to find the perfect pair of pants. The quest is now officially over. These pants are super comfy. They washed well. The pockets are perfect as is the cinching at the ankle. I can wear them outdoors, but they are also fine for going to my not very dressy workplace. I bought two colors, and I am going back to buy three more.

I bought these to hike in when we went to maine. I absolutely love them. They are super light weight and so comfortable. I'm a size 20-22 but with wide hips and big butt so I went with the 3x. The other plus that I love about these pants: they don't attract dog hair! We have two aussies and these pants do not cling to fur like some other materials do.

I bought these for use when traveling in wet conditions; rain forest in Costa Rica, whales watching at San ignacio (Mexico) lagoon, safari in South African, etc. These are great at protecting from insects and wind, dry quickly, and are comfortable. Slight stretch makes sitting more comfortable too. I am buying another pair.

Great for traveling. Very comfortable and easy to care for. Wrinkles hang out overnight. I never used the drawstrings on the legs but they are not a distraction. I have the sage and navy and have ordered the black.

I am a sz 12 and medium fit me perfect. They are so comfortable, love the pockets and they wash well. I also have two pair of the capris and my daughter also just bought two pairs and she loves them as well .

As a birdwatcher and photographer I needed something sturdy and long lasting.. as well as stylish... I have these pants in ever color and some colors I have multiple ones... I live in these...

These pants are easy care, very comfortable. I would order them again. I can not speak to the wear value because I have only had them for a short period of time. If they are like all L.L. Bean products they will last for years with normal wear and tear.

I bought these pants for a trip to Europe, looking to replace my worn out travel pants. They are as comfortable as my favorite pjs and look great. The zipper pockets were a little snug, but very workable. I could fit my phone and passport in them. The added button-down pockets were a great feature too. They are very comfortable to wear on a long plane ride and don't hold on to wrinkles. I appreciate their length on my 5'10'' frame.

The Vista Camp Pants are absolutely the most comfortable casual pants I have ever worn. I have purchased them in 3 colors. I highly recommend.

I travel to Western Slope in Colorado a few times a year (leaving now for Dpringtime in the Rockies!) and these pants (also have them in black) should be ideal....they already are here in the Midwest! Bravo LL Bean! I have a "tummy" and smaller hips, but these pants are a great fit and look for me! Sporty and functional-who could be that?!

Flattering and incredibly comfortable. Love these pants. I just wish they also came in a lighter khaki color.

I have purchased 5 pairs of Vista pants. I cannot remember what I wore before I found these. They are light in heat. They dry fast if they get wet in winter. The waist band adjusts to my ever changing waistline. I have the Vista shorts too and they are my summer school uniform. Hmmm...think there is a new color.

light weight, washes easily, cool enuf for spring in florida

I purchased my first pair of Vista Camp Pants (navy) late last summer and loved them so much I went back and picked up a pair of dark gray pants as well. This spring I finally got a pair of black Vista Camp Pants. They are so comfortable, breathable, stretchy, and functional. I also like the adjustable pull tabs at the ankle. The cargo pockets are useful as are the hip pockets, although I would like to see the latter a tad deeper. Thanks for bringing them back this season!

I bought these pants in a larger size than I usually wear. They are wonderful, and will be great in the summer when I don't want to wear anything tight-fitting. The fabric is light and permeable, and they wash/dry perfectly with no shrinkage. There are lots of pockets to store things, perfect for my upcoming vacation. I have already ordered a second pair in my true size, to compare.

I am a hiker but I bought these pants for an trip to the British Isles. I knew the weather would be cooler and damp. These pants were everything I had wanted. The fit is great and I love the waist band. They are very comfortable and dried quickly. Packed very well.

Other than occassional jeans or shorts, I wear these pants, lined and unlined, daily. The pants are so comfortable I add a dressier top and go out to dinner. I have two lined pairs and 5 unlined.

These pants fit me perfectly. I especially love the elastic waistband which makes the pant exceptionally comfortable. I have a large waist for my size, and fitted waistbands simply don't fit me anymore. I hike quite a lot and needed some lightweight trail pants with pockets, an expandable waistband, and drawstrings around the ankle. These completely fit the bill, so much so that I just ordered another pair. LLBean, please continue to make these pants.

These are comfortable, the fabric is cool enough for the warmest of days, and they're cute, too! I have a hard time finding pants that are flattering and these fit the bill.

Just returned for three weeks on safari and these pants were fabulous. They pack easily, don't wrinkle too much. Lightweight and the elastic waist is super comfy. I'm ordering more in other colors.

These pants feel great - wonderful texture, nice color (grey), perfect fit, stylish (so my husband tells me), light, and ease of movement. I read some reviewers mention pilling but I have yet to see it after one wash. I probably should go through a few more cycles of wash before I buy more of these pants, but I love them so much that I am going to buy a few more in different colors. These would be perfect in my retirement that starts in 10 days!
