These pants are perfect for outdoor wear. They are very lightweight.

These pants are made for hiking and other outdoor activities but once you wear pants that move with you, you try to fit them into as many parts of your life as you can. These wonderful nylon-spandex pants are something I can wear to work and I do - what we need are these pants in better colors - muddy green and dark gray and the new awful brown don't cut it. If the percentage of spandex makes it harder to dye, how about trying a 1% or 2% different fabric - a nice dark red or a nice light gray would work for me.

I love these pants so much. I bought them for a trip to Africa and they were amazingly lightweight and comfortable. Now i wear them hiking or just hanging out in the sun. The sizing was perfect for my short, curvy frame. They were also surprisingly durable and held up during hikes through the brush. They aren't cheap, but I am still ordering them in other colors because I love them so much.

I purchased two pair and then two more when I knew how they would fit. The pants are comfortable, light weight, wash (cold) and dry (hang, then fluff) well, and look great. They are my new go-to pants for every day and travel. Love the waist. At my age, you do not want to deal with zippers and buttons and tight fit.

Very soft and comfortable. Great to wear, any time!

These pants were so perfect for our last camping trip. I love how light weight they are. They handle moisture well. I would say they run large; they definitely work for a woman who has given birth and is recovering.

These pants are light and sturdy. I love to wear them in the hot summer of New Mexico every day. I bought the burned almond color - it looked the lightest color offered. The first pair developed piles. I did not return the pair because I wear these pants only around the house. I ordered second pair - same color, and so far, there is no piling. The kind of fabric looks the same on both, and I have no clue what is causing the piling. The pants are shorter than I would like them to be.Longer inseam should be offered.

These pants are my favorite. The waist holds the pants in place all day long when gardening yet never binds. I like to pull the elastic at the bottom of each leg to close off access to my legs from all the insects that thrive in the humid South. The pants are lightweight and cool and dry fast. The pants stay neat looking for going to work or social events. I like the security of the zippered side pockets. The buttoned rear pockets are stylish but since I wear untucked dress shirts, they are covered and make "bumps" in the rear so I removed them.

These pants were recommended by a friend and I'm thankful I took her advice. I went to Germany with my daughter for a week and they were light, wrinkle resistant and very "packable." I bought two more pairs. :D

I love these pants, they are so soft and the material is nice and thin for hiking. I love them so much, I have even been wearing them to work! I wore them on the plane traveling and they were extremely comfortable for that! I will buy more colors! I hiked in them in Colorado and loved the pockets!

I bought two colors for an African trip and wore them everyday. They are so comfortable and during cold mornings and nights I wore as pants, and during the heat of the day I scrunched up pants as capris. They were easy to wash in sink and dried overnight. They fit loose and are very flattering.

I bought these pants in the capri style and loved them so much I purchased the regular camp pants. Washes and dries like a dream. Love the zipper pockets. They can hold my iPhone 8plus! They are a relaxed fit and very comfortable for every day wear, and I look forward to traveling with them.

I love these pants- I bought the black and wear them to work for casual Fridays but actually, with a long cardi, they look nice enough for everyday. They are comfortable with lots of pockets that are secure. I have only washed them once and do not detect any fading. I have worn them about 6 times all day to work and no pilling or snags. I would say they run true to size. The downsides are they only come in one length and "just fit" me in the inseam and are a little slippery when sitting. I bought another pair in black and 2 other colors I like them so much.

Very comfortable and cool in the summer. Dry Quickly. Light weight. great for traveling.

I bought a pair in gray last year in the store for a canoe trip. I think they run a little big since I usually wear a large but the medium fit better. They are light and comfortable and dry quickly. I like that you can cinch them in at the ankle to keep out bugs. I like them so much that I recently bought another pair in blue on-line. I'm happy to say that they fit the same which is not always the case when I buy something in a different color. Good job, LLBean!

These pants are my favorite; from the beach, to hiking and mountain biking, to relaxing on the deck, and even to work! They are light, comfortable, and durable (wrecked on my mtn. bike in them and they held together, unlike my skin). They best part - they look nice. Go Camp Pants!!!

This pant is a great all around pant. Works great on cool mornings. Love the ties on the bottom, you can make them into a crop or capris when it gets warmer during the day.

Really like these pants and have 2 pair, wish they came in more colors. I like the pockets and their location, the fabric is not too warm and the fit is very comfortable.

These pants are amazing! I have had some problem with the threading coming out which I was told was very rare but customer service is amazing and my pants have been replaced. I love how L.L.Bean stands behind their products. I went back and got these in every color! Do yourself a favor and buy these! They are cool, comfortable, are adorable with the ankles cinched in (drawstring-option). They tend to relax a little after you wear them. Very flattering. I think thy even dress up a casual look however they can be very casual at the same time.

These are terrific! Have three pairs now, which is sufficient for almost any travel. They fold down to nothing, weigh just about nothing, and wash very easily. Wear them straight or with the ties closed. Great either way! And for sure, no issue with wrinkling!!

These can be worn anywhere dressed up or casual. Love the feel of them. And they go in the wash and dryer . No ironing needed.

These are fantastic pants! Comfortable and can be casual or chic; complimented many times! They fit me so well; I'm evenly proportioned and the elastic tie gives plenty of room for a bigger belly, but cinches well if not. Don't be afraid to order petite. Sadly, a pen was in the wash and ruined my olive pair. Ordering another because I love them so much.

I absolutely love these pants. I am not a hiker. I am a very "mature" woman that lives in a miserably hot and humid city. These pants are cool in every sense of the word. I have three pair and wear one almost every day. I wish they were offered in a couple bright colors but assume hikers are not interested in color.

These are the best travel pants I have ever had, and so comfortable that I wear them every day at home as well. I purchased 3 pairs of these pants in March, and have not worn any other pants since then. One of my 3 pairs pilled a bit on the inner thigh after I wore them almost every day during a 3-week European trip. Otherwise, I have noticed none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers. The pants dry overnight, so I could have made do with just one pair on the trip, but I took 2 , plus a pair of silk longies as an extra layer on chilly days. PERFECT!
