I love these pants. I'd been searching everywhere for a pair of comfortable hiking pants that were not baggy or skin tight---very difficult to find. I don't know why I didn't go to LLBean in the first place since I always find what I'm looking for on the website. These pants just arrived and they are perfect. I love them. I am 5'2" 100 pounds and ordered my usual size---Petite XS. They are exactly the right length, the pockets with zippers and buttons are great, and the fabric is soft with just the right amount of stretch. The waist is little big, but the drawstring cord helps there. They are not baggy or skin tight and I disagree with several previous reviewers who were not happy with the seam in the front near the pockets. I suppose it depends on how long your legs are, but the seam hits above my knee and does not interfere with motion at all. I ordered the olive green, which is very pretty and won't show the dirt from the trails. I applaud LLBean for designing such an attractive and well-made hiking pants. They are good-looking enough to wear in town, as well. May have to order another pair in a different color before they sell out of my size!!

These are very comfortable and, while they stretch when needed, they retain their shape. They can be worn multiple days without showing the wear and they will be perfect for traveling, since they take up no room at all. I'm glad I tried them on, since I do not usually wear small.

I COULD LIVE IN THESE PANTS THAT IS HOW WELL THEY FIT.

Good fit, comfortable and - along with the shorter version, which I have worn for some time - my favorites for all around casual wear.

I just love these pants. We are on vacation to Europe. They are very comfortable. Wash out easily. When I get home I will order more colors!! I normally wear an XL but that was too big and the large fits perfectly!!

These pants are a light material. They are very comfortable and run true to size. They wash up great. I would definitely purchase again.

I love everything about these pants. They are very comfortable; they wash well, and they are light-weight and take up almost no space in my suitcase. Be warned, though; I usually wear a medium (size 10-12), so that's what I initially ordered. They were CRAZY big. So, I sent them back and got the small... and they are still roomy, but just right. And customer service was excellent. I will likely get another pair before my next hiking trip.

I like these pants so much, I bought 5 of them in 4 colors. I don't buy a lot from LL Bean because most of the time their sizing doesn't work well for me, but these are great. I would buy the flannel lined version if they came in Petite size.

I originally ordered petite medium as I am a size 8 and generally find that petite items run small. The petite mediums were large, so I returned them for the petite small which fit perfectly! They are so comfortable that I plan on getting another pair. Perfect for camping, doing errands or just hanging around.

I bought one pair of these pants a couple months ago (had to return them for a medium rather than a large). Now that I've worn and washed them, I'm sold! They are lightweight and comfortable -- perfect for everyday use, as well as hiking and traveling. I now have three of the four colors.

Waistband is so comfortable with secure side zippers. The back and lower leg buttoned pockets will wear longer with button being secured with fabric vs. thread .I love these pants and bought in dark green and a 2nd pair in granite. They dry fast if liquid spills.

These pants are ideal for travel. Lightweight, easy to pack, easy to wash and dry when needed. Elastic waist makes for a great fit. Purchased two pair, navy and black.

I had bought all 5 colors of these in a 2x. I have lost weight & because I liked so much, i have bought 3 pr in the smaller xl petite. I do wish you would bring back the brown or at least some shade of brown.

I bought 2 pair and will buy more!!! Perfect fit with give in the waist which is fully elastic. I carry weight through middle and still feel comfortable and non binding in waist. I gave one to a friend(heartbreaking) and she was shocked at how well they fit. "It's like wearing nothing at all!" Spring and fall wear because fabric very lightweight and if u run hot like I do they are all year coverage and no weight!!! Perfect fit!!!

I'm on my way home right now from a 21-day solo trip to Europe. I took 2 pairs of Vista pants black and grey and they are all I needed for every situation. If you also pack a set of long underwear, these are definitely 3-season pants. Extremely comfy; well designed pockets, cool but substantial, easy to wash the best travel pants I've ever owned. Granted, they may be a bit casual for the opera, but I didn't go to the opera!

Originally bought them in green and grey for a safari last year. They are so comfortable and nice looking that we bought them in navy and black and wear them all the time ! Would highly recommend Vista Camp pants !

Bought these for a long trip. They look surprisingly stylish for cargo pants, with lots of useful pockets. Very comfortable, and attractive. I highly recommend them.

I have many nylon performance pants and crops for traveling and outdoor adventures from other retailers. I decided to try the vista camp pants based on positive reviews, my overall good experience with LLB, and a sale. I am 5'6", 125, and bought my usual size small. They were too big so I exchanged them for an XS, which fit perfectly. I have noticed that with other elastic waist pants I have had to size down, plus many reviewers commented that their normal size ran big. I have only worn these pants a few times and found them comfortable, a little stretchy, and very functional with all the pockets. I have worn them with t-shirts and nicer shirts and have found them very adaptable to style and occasion. I haven't worn them enough to see if they will pill or snag. I liked them so much I got a second pair. Maybe I will try the crop pants next!

Comfortable. Stylish. Good for paddling because they dry quickly. I wear them often. True to size.

Bought these in the Black and Olive after practically living in the crops most of the summer. The quality of the pant is just as good as the crops with all the same nice touches and excellent design. I particularly like the drawstring at the ankle. When not in use, it slides back into place almost invisibly -- no cords hanging down. Will definitely buy the other colors. One last thing: the zipper on the main pockets is genius.
