Wish these fit me but ran small. Needed a half size more. Maybe the Men’s version will fit better?

It’s an attractive shoe- good color, looks like the picture, fit seems good, my first pair of Fresh Foam in some time.

Never have I ever needed a wide-width shoe. These run incredibly narrow. I have a low-volume bony foot and 90% of the time wear an 8M in sneakers. I tried the 8Ms. Too short and too narrow. I tried the 8.5Ms. Too narrow. I tried the 8Ws. Too short, but good width. Finally, the 8.5Ws are the Cinderella shoes. If you have a wide foot you might need the extra wide fit. I'm seeing this phenomenon in sneakers lately from various brands: Brooks, Hoka, and NB with the narrower toe boxes. Not sure what they are thinking but they are wrong.

They're a little on the narrow side but okay.

Overall the shoes fit well, like the prior models. However, the shoe laces are too short and not stretchy enough. I had to take my prior laces from this model series to stop going crazy with untied shoes all day.

I wanted so much to keep this shoe. Loved the color and the WW gave me the width I needed for my toes. Unfortunately, the raised platform on the back of the shoes totally threw my gait off and made my back hurt and my legs grew tired as I struggled to get a normal heel to toe motion. Just wish the new shoes they are making would stop making the bottom of the shoes so high off the ground.

Too narrow for D width. Perhaps also 1/2 size too small.

I ordered 8WW and it was not quite wide enough so I will have to stretch the shoes. I did the same with the leathter version of this shoe.

Did not seem or feel like a EE. Disappointed. It also says wide not extra wide on the tag

I’ve bought New Balance 840s before at a size 6 extra wide. These I’m walking out of them! They are about a half size too big. The tongue is just a little too long, as well. The dusty blue/raspberry is okay. I’ve ordered teal and dark purple in the past, but I’ll take whatever color I can get that’s not white, black, and navy. It’s a hard size to find. Not many options. Reordered in a 5.5.

Very disappointed in these 840s. I've worn New Balance 840s for years and have always been happy with them. The toe box for this generation of 840s is narrow, which is a problem for me. I've been able to avoid foot problems that I attribute to wearing New Balance 840s with its Last two. Now I don't know what I'll do.

These shoes are cute and comfy but rubbed on my ankle. Unfortunately i will be returning them.

These shoes are so comfy. Tons of support when running or walking, they look good, and go with almost anything. However, I wish they had a durability category. Overall, 3 stars because they did not hold up. For this price I expect to wear them for at least 6 months. The foam is showing through at the tops of the shoes and on the insides.

Too wide in front part. I love the color!

I liked the soft blue color but when I got it, the heel height was ribbed rubber & looked ginormous & really made the sneaker look like an orthopedic special! I felt like my foot was sliding forward as I walked too--just not what I was expecting.

I ordered a 9 xw. It was not wide enough.

While I liked the style, I think all the foam makes them really hot. I tried walking in them in the cold weather, and they made my feet really hot. I can’t imagine walking in them in the ATL summers. Unfortunately they had to be returned.

One shoe fit different than the other. This is the fourth or fifth pair of these shoes we have purchased and normally they are great. This pair had some quality issues.

I've been wearing 1080 since version 7. They change noticeably with each version and have been getting worse in the last few versions. This version is so bad that I'm switching to a different shoe. They are so over-cushioned that they feel unstable. They aren't even comfortably soft—my feet feel like they are always uneven. I'm super disappointed.

The tongue was way too long. Would be totally uncomfortable. Felt the sizing was way off.
