Loving the material! But - the waist needs a different solution than the thin drawstring. I agree with other recent reviewer's - there slide down your waist esp. with a cell phone or wallet in a pocket. The size is very generous - I normally take a medium but these mediums swim on me - considering returning for small size.

I like these pants for casual waking or hiking. I agree with the person who mentioned that these pants do not stay up very well if moving vigorously like jumping probably running too though did not test. But they do seem a bit loose in that regard. Anyway, I found them way too long but the drawstring around the ankles can alleviate some of that. Still, too long for my liking but will keep them.

L is 36-38. XL is 40-42. L too small. XL is to big. Make a size for those who are 38-40.

For me the lining was to heavy. I love the unlined versions and have several pair. I wear silk long underwear and I find that more comfortable than wearing the lined ones. Probably will not purchase another pair of the lined pants.

Bought these for winter exercise in Wisconsin, basically as wind resistant work out pants. They're ok, just not nearly as warm or wind resistant as I thought they'd be from the description and other reviews. One review did mention that the elastic at the waist is basically worthless, which I found to be accurate. If you don't tie these tight, expect them to fall down. I have EB lines pro guide pants that are far warmer and cut the wind 100%, I just wanted something pull on, etc. Which EB doesn't have. Not certain yet if I am keeping these, but also not particularly satisfied.

Nice pants but just didn't fit me. Unlined pants fit me perfectly but the lined pants kept falling off my rear. Too bad.

If these had belt loops I would love. Draw string...I returned them.

Warm pants, comfortable, but waistband elastic is loose and not as tight as you would expect for wind pants.

At the bottom of both legs the pull elastic device broke the first week I had them. Now no way to tighten.

The string tie for the waist band comes loose during exercise. Waist should have more elasticity and would probably be better with a narrow mesh belt. The cord lock toggles on the bottom of the leg are worthless. They don't work. You can tighten them but loosening them is impossible. Fortunately they're really not necessary.
On the positive side they fit well and the liner makes the pants very comfortable as I intend to use the pants for cold weather activity.

Quality very good and warm for cooler weather. Problem with waistband not strong enough for the added weight of lining. Returned for smaller size, which helps, but still tends to want to slide down when moving/walking. I've had the unlined for many months without this problem & I love them. These not as much.

I have now tried this product in both lined and unlined and in sizes XL and L. Very comfortable, but I'm not sure I'd wear them in public again. They keep slipping down no matter how I tighten the drawstrign.

They have a tendency to fall down from the waist, due to the pant weight, slick material, cheap elastic and drawstring.

Purchased after the holidays last year, and thought they were great; wore them only a few times on walks. Noticed that the material pilled a little; however they became more pilled after washing. For the price, these pants are poor quality. I will not be looking to buy again, and willbe looking to other sites for future purchases. I suggest that if you received these as a gift to return them before they pill.

The pants are nice and warm, but surprisingly heavy. Given their weight, it's unfortunate that the elastic of the waist band does not have more tension. I'm afraid to rely on the thin shoestring tie to hold them up in rigorous outdoor activity. Maybe I should have ordered a size smaller so the waistband is tighter.

Probably fine but seems like those cheap pants that only look good in the picture. Outside fabric looks cheap whereas the flimsy inner liner comes part way out when you pull the pants off your legs. The fit is oddly baggy in some places and tight in others.

I gave it a 2 star because they are warm. I first ordered them in in size L which is the size of every pair of pull-on pants that I own, this pair of large pants was huge, when layed out with other pants I own these were by far the biggest. I sent them back and got them in a size medium, the waist is now good but the fit is wrong, its too small in the rear and the pants don't want to stay in place. If you just want to sit in warm pants they are great, if you plan to walk much they fall down even with the draw string tight. They didn't work for me.

They fall down to your hips no matter how tight the drawstring.
