After having 2 pair of the unlined Multisport Pants and loving them, I purchased a Lined pair for colder weather. I expect to like them just as much except for one small problem. The lined pants are difficult to put on. The lining bunches up on my feet. That's the only reason for not giving them 5 stars. Before wearing them again I will break out the old needle and thread and tack the lining to the outer shell of the pants, something the manufacturer should have done. Hopefully problem solved.

Materials and finish are high quality. Fit is generally good. Pants are somewhat heavier due to lining, which makes the drawstring a critical component to keep them from sliding down. The drawstring is a thinner kind of shoestring, and I see this wearing out quickly. Bean should upgrade this.

Purchased 2 of these lined pants for cold weather, and 2 of the unlined for the rest of the year. I wear them almost every day, and I love them! Most comfortable pants. Feel and look great; good fit all around; deep side pockets, plus, on the right, a zippered pocket that is perfect for a billfold (and a rear "wallet pocket" I wouldn't trust a wallet in). "Heartache "because the elastic waist and drawstring combo do not satisfactorily hold the pants up, even with nothing in the pockets. Drawstrings might suffice for pajamas, but not for every day wear, and not for this price. Also, drawstrings cannot survive the dryer and are a challenge in the bathroom! (And what's up with a "faux fly"? It's either a fly front or not. Given the elastic waist - drawstring mess, these pants need a "real fly".) Truly unsatisfactory. I tried slipping heavy duty cord locks onto the drawstrings to sidestep the continual tightening of the drawstrings, but this wasn't a solution. Bean has a winner here, but these pants need some design improvement. Notwithstanding my grousing, I love them, will live with my heartache, and I'm keeping them!

Very comfortable whether lounging or walking. I can't comment on durability yet, but they seem to be very durable.

Love these pants. They are fantastic for cold weather running, not to mention just lounging around. The only negative is the sizing. The length is right, but the waist is slightly larger than typical (size medium) and the butt and legs slightly tighter. For more athletic build it's obviously not ideal.

These pants are great except the elastic is not strong enough . They fall down. Had to return.

Good pants. Comfortable, fairly windproof and warm. I would like them better if the drawstring was on the inside and made of a material which held with a little more friction, eg cotton.

We bought these to wear at the Cancer Center. He cannot wear them because they have metal on them. Oh well he'll enjoy them anyway.

Super high quality. All that lining makes these lounge pants a little heavy. I got a 34" inseam and they are plenty long. All-in-all a pretty good purchase.

I first got the large but needed to exchange for a medium. Have not had a chance to use the item yesterday due to the mild winter. I tried using the messaging system first to ask a question about sizing but it was no help at all.

The pants are comfortable and fit very nicely. I am a little surprised by the heavy weight of the pants! I also have these pants in the unlined version and they are very lightweight by comparison. The lined pants feels like its 3 times as heavy!! But overall, I recommend them for folks in colder climates.

These would have been ideal if we could have gotten one size larger. Unfortunately that wasn't possible.

very comfortable and warm. inseam seems to run long, which keeps it being 5 stars. maybe because the pants are heavy.

Wonderful pants I have them on now. Toasty warm great for chilly morning dog walks. If they had a stronger elastic waistband I would have given them five stars

Nice pants, but way too heavy for my liking. I have to cinch up the waist tie way tight to keep them up. I like the unlined version better.

These fit well and look nice . My son is handicapped but still wants to look nice with ability to move . These pants offer that . Would recommend to a friend!

The zipper pull tab broke after a few washes in machine . :( this is the 5th one broken , I still have a few more of the same pants, for my husband and my son with different sizes. Great fitting pant, but this broken zipper with sharp metal piece is very disappointing. It cut into my son's hand. A bloody scratch on his hand. I forgot to take a picture of his hand and his iPhone when he put it into his pocket. I didnt realize until I notice the sharp metal on the zipper tab. :(

Have never returned anything from L.L. Bean but just couldn't handle the wimpy elastic on these pants. Other reviews made me suspicious but hoped for the best. Wrong. Didn't want to depend on a drawstring all the time. Well made otherwise.

Waist size, XL, seems to be a little larger than the XL, unlined version. Almost won't stay up.
