I purchased this jacket thinking that it would be like the "Men's Warm-Up Jacket, Fleece Lined", but with a hood, it is not. It is definitely a lighter weight jacket, but still nice.

Excellent quality and an especially good front zipper, but the pocket zippers leave something to be desired. The fit is slightly more fitted than expected and will limit layering in really cold weather. the lining is warm but makes it difficult to get the jacket on, due to it sticking to all under layers.

Love this jacket, very warm for the lightweight nature. The hanger thread in the back broke shortly after purchasing, will return when I get a chance.

An excellent windbreaker and provides warmth when used over some layers. Bought for a spring vacation in Scandinavia where it was often windy, damp and in the 40's. This jacket was an excellent wind break to be sure. It is constructed of an outer water resistant fabric with a relatively thin fleece lining. Warmth is somewhat subjective but I found I depended more on a flannel shirt and/or down vest to provide the main warmth and this was a terrific outer layer. The hood provided nice protection in wind and rain. I buy a lot of LL Bean stuff and like the quality and rugged durability of the products. To me this jacket is satisfactory to good but not on the high end of LL Bean quality.

Tight in the armpits. Wish there was a store closer to try different sizes.

Nice lightweitht jacket. It kept me comfortable and dry walking my dog on a windy, rainy 50 day - i.e. it is wind and water proof. The jacket should be comfortable between about 40 to 65F - i.e. the three seasons being spring, summer and fall. I rated it 4 stars because it runs very small - I had to return one in my normal size and order another a size larger. The size larger is not too large by any measure, so order up one size to get the correct fit.

Sizing issue - hubby typically wears XXL-T in all Beans products but it was extremely small. Ordered a XXXL-T, which fits reasonably well and he likes it, although arms are a tad too long. Others report same problem. Original color was not available in larger size.

Good jacket, maybe not quite as warm as expected from its fluff, and not quite as slim as expected from its fluff. Maybe a bit too 'tailored fit' - can't really fit a fleece underneath. But still a nice jacket for the rotation.

I am able to use this jacket at 22 degrees during the winter, without feeling the chills from the cold. I am sure, this should also be a good jacket for Spring/fall conditions as well. Fit is just perfect, not relaxed or not too slim.

The side pockets could be a bit deeper. Other than that, this is a fine jacket. The sizes run on the small side. I have an LLB winter coat in XL Regular that fits just fine. For this 3 season jacket I had to get the XXL Regular.

The jacket is correctly sized, and I have a good fit. The jacket is warm, comfortable and the attached hood with the adjustable straps protects you from a strong wind. Also, I can fit another layer under the jacket. Go for it!

Coat could be even better if it had pocket lining to be pulled out to clean. Like the zipper pulls

Jacket is nice & warm however would have liked to see a dual zipper so you can open it at the bottom while sitting. In cold climates it's nice to open your jacket while driving and still be warm.

The purchase experience was great. The jacket runs on the snug side. Get a size bigger if between sizes.

I received my jacket today and was very surprised to find the first flaw ever in an L. L. Bean product. The inside zippered pocket was open at the bottom. It was not stitched closed. If I had put my cell phone in there it would have fallen right thru. I fixed the problem with a needle and thread rather than waste time sending the jacket back to L. L. Bean. All is well but L. L. Bean should check their quality control. I like the jacket aside from this little problem.

Received it today! Fits real tight and will be returned. It's my first LLBean purchase that I have made that the the size wasn't correct.

Nice jacket, but runs a little snug for its size. Lightweight and seems to be comfortable for temperatures, but cuts down on mobility. Might want to consider the next larger size when purchasing this jacket. Considering I have purchased quite a few parkas, coats and jackets from L.L.Bean, this was a little perplexing since odd one out on sizing.

It's great and warm. Because of the LL Bean quality, I know it'll last me a long time. I just wish it didn't run small. I'm normally a 2XL in men's/unisex sizes but this is snug.

My husband loves his new jacket with one exception. The pockets aren't deep enough to hold his winter mittens. He says the jacket is very comfortable and plenty warm for Oregon autumns. He walks our aged dog several times daily, so the mittens are on/off frequently. The jacket would be five stars if the pockets were deep enough.

Normally I would wear a size large, but in the jacket's description it said slightly fitted, so I opted for size x-large. I'm glad I did. It's roomy enough to wear a layer beneath, and the sleeves are not overly long. It falls just below the waist. I'm 5'10" and around 185 lbs, if that's helpful. I've noticed more of LLBean's products say fitted etc., so I've been more careful on ordering clothing. So far I am happy with my purchase!

Nice Jacket, but not heavy or warm. Maybes it's good for the spring, when a light coat is needed but I wore it when it was 50 degrees out on a fall day and it was like wearing another shirt.

Nice looking jacket though tight in the chest. I should have paid attention to the reviews that indicated you should order size up due to this. I didn't, I plan to keep the jacket though it's not really for layering. If you intend to do so, order a size up.
