Great Purchase, best jacket I've ever owned for winter's cold temps, rain, wind, etc

Very nice jacket. I would like to have some inner pockets and a mid section adjustment option. Overall very nice and comfortable. Great quality and beyond color.

My girlfriend selected the black version and it truly looks sharp. While it is fairly lightweight, it is definitely warm for the low temps and wind. I like the hood also but it'll come down over your eyes without a hat. The pockets are nice and deep but I'm not crazy about the snaps. They are near impossible to close when the coat is on. All in all, despite being a bit overpriced, I recommend this coat.

The coat is designated as "Warmest" but really doesn't cut it here in central CO Mtns. I need several add'l layers to maintain body warmth. Because I need extra layers it is difficult to don the jacket because the arm holes are too narrow. If extreme cold (10 degrees & below,) I am unable to wear the jacket because I cannot get my arms through the holes easily. It has become a warmer cold weather jacket.

I love how warm and lightweight this jacket is. The Sherpa lining makes you feel instantly warm when you put it on. The only problem is that the sleeves are a bit short, so they pull up past my wrists every time I extend me arms. I bought a tall size and still have this issue. Make the sleeves a little longer and you'd have a perfect jacket!

I'd give the jacket five stars, except there are no zippered pockets. They have buttons...but that's not good enough for wallet/keys/etc. So it's a great jacket, but it should have some zippered pockets.

Zippered pockets rather than snaps would make this a 5 star buy.

I brought this a week ago since I needed a warm winter coat. I am very picky with my coats. I prefer utility over style. I went back and forth between a few coats at the store, however, this coat had the best fit and function. They were sold out of black so I got the Blue one. Paired it with a yellow beanie and it's been stuck on my back like glue. I love how warm it keeps me in these cold windy temperatures. Around 19-32 F, since I purchased the coat.

Great coat! My husband absolutely loves it! We were looking for something durable and fleece lined. The hood and the inside of the coat are fleece lined. The inside of the sleeves are not lined with fleece however the overall coat is warm and looks just like the pictures!

I bought this jacket after watching travel bloggers A&K on YouTube where they wear the same jacket. It is warm and high quality. My primary complaint is that the choice of buttons on the hand pockets loses functionality; I feel like my belongings are always at danger of falling out. In addition, I would have loved to seen an interior zip pocket. It is my go to place for storing my wallet in the winter. I think it's a great more stylish option from LLBean for casual every-day use, but if your adventurer I'd look for something with more functionality.

I like everything about this jacket, although I would like a bit more room for layers. It does fit well over a long underwear top and a medium wool sweater. The jacket's fleece is warm enough with that combo that I have to unzip it in 25 degree weather once I get moving. The outer shell seems sturdy, and the pockets work well. I imagine with face covering it would be comfy to 10 degrees. I especially like the outer chest pocket. So it would be rated a 5 with a touch more room. But that is slimming, I suppose.

Great jacket, nice and warm. Quality feels good. The length of the sleeves are a bit short for the other proportions. Bought as an in between cost for my mountain puffer and mountain parka.

Outstanding insulation. Tall option really comes in handy. Pockets and arm liners feel very flimsy.

Warm comfortable coat. I dont like the snaps for the pockets, difficult to use- need an inside pocket for phone- not sure why there is not one. the one pocket up top you can use for a smaller phone but once again using it is difficult due to the snaps.

It's nice and warm fits well I just wish the lining for the arms was the same as the inside of the coat.

Love everything about this but the sleeves are a little short for a LT. I've ordered many other LL Bean products in this size and the sleeves on jacket are noticeably shorter. Everything else about it is great though.

This is not a super cold weather jacket. It's more like a warm casual style jacket you would wear outside in 30F temps. It does not block the wind too well as the zipper appears to not be sealed. I would definitely say it's cozy inside with the Sherpa lining. It is black and I wish there was another option for color. I think it's crafted well like most Bean products. So if you're thinking this is a ski jacket we'll ..it's not. Sitting in the lodge and sipping hot chocolate is more like it.

Love the Jacket!! That said,I've had to take it off by pulling it off over my head several times. This is not easy or recommended for a 76 year old guy. I was able to fix the problem myself by cutting the zipper side flap off. I had to trim the resulting loose thread several times but now all is working well and I am once again, very happy with my jacket.

This is a great looking jacket. I'm 5'11, 185 lbs. My chest measures 44" and I have a 33" waist. I ordered a large. The sleeve length seemed fine, the chest area fit fine, however, there was way too much material between the chest and the waist. This fit is geared for a person that is much larger and needs extra room in the belly. Even with the drawstrings pulled, it looked like a balloon. Even the arms were baggy. I'd try a size medium, but I'm just not sold on the fit.
