He loves it. Says it's the warmest winter coat he's ever owned... and probably the first he's ever owned that covers his backside and has a hood.

Great jacket, it's warm, comfortable and lightweight and it looks good as well.

Stylish and warm despite its light weight. I'm 6'2" and 180 pounds, and the large tall fits perfectly even when wearing a sweatshirt underneath. I had initially tried the medium tall, and while it fit, it was very (too) snug. The nice heavy zipper is very easy to operate. Highly recommend it !

This has been the warmest jacket ever owned, light in weight & hood with draw string is a great feature. This has been a severe winter and very happy with warmth and quality of jacket. Another great product from LL Bean.

I have the LL Bean triad of winter jackets for walking our two boxers every morning in winter weather where temperatures can range from 45 to 10 degrees . I have a short down jacket model 507058 for 40 degree plus weather, a long hooded down jacket 505276 for under 30 degree temperatures and the Mountain Classic jacket is perfect for the 30 to 40 degree days. LL Bean winter outerwear is great value and something I can recommend without reservation
