Warm, easy to don, perfect length in body and sleeves, love the fleece-lined pockets, good looking. The only places it is lacking it needs a zipped chest pocket on the front (for cell phones!) and the pockets need the stitching to go up a half-inch or so so keys don't fall out.

This is great coat that is warm and comfortable. My only complaint is that the snaps are too awkward to do up single handed.

This coat is warm and comfortable and perfect for the winter cold.

It's a great warm coat and I love the vintage style. Just a few small improvemnats could go a long way to me this coat perfect: 1) Deeper pockets. The pockets are shallow and wallet and phone are falling out, not top mention it's not very comfortable for the hands. 2) Add a chest pocket. 3) A fur trim on the hood would complete the look.

Nice coat could use a couple improvement like draw for hem and vest pocket

It is great that LL Bean offers Tall clothing for active men. My husband biys his clothes exclusively from LLBean. The coat was warm, well made and stylish. Thank you LL Bean

I really like this parka. It goes down over hips which I need. And the hood accommodates a hat which I also need. It is heavier than I thot it'd be which is not the best. I guess because off the down treatment it's heavy. I'd say it's good down to about 20 degrees.

I usually order size XL, but was told by a friend that the coat fits small and ordered the size XXL. I don't like coats that seem to be slim fit!

Wonderful warm coat. just the right length and waterproof. Only bad thing is the snaps that hold the hood on. .... actually the snaps that DON'T hold the hood on. They unsnap with the slightest movement. Fortunately, the Velcro tabs at the very ends of the hood hold it securely so it doesn't come completely off, but the wind creeps in at your neck when the hood unsnaps. I really don't use the hood much so I love the parka.

This is perfect for a cold day, very well made and fits well. Only thing wrong, when the hood is on, it comes down right over your eyes

Love LL Bean tall sizes and the coat is a great fit for my tall, thin, husband. The coat gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars because the lining of the sleeves comes out over his hand when he puts the coat on. It would not stop us for buying it again! Otherwise warm and comfortable.

Bought it for my husband. He is tall and a little bit overweight, so it is really hard to find jacket that fits well. This parka suits him well and it is quite warm. But filling smells strange, mix of chemical smell and grease. I haven't washed it yet, so not sure if it will help.

Fits great. Love that there is both a pocket on the outside and inside. Unfortunately, personally don't care for the bottom zipper. But like the color very much. And it's comfortably warm.

I love this jacket so far. Fits well, looks good, and is keeping me warm in some frigid cold we've been having here in the North East. The buttons holding the hood on do unsnap as many others have mentioned, especially when I have a winter cap on, it holds to the inside of the hood more than my bare head. Come on Bean! These are cheesy little buttons, you can do better than that! I hear the button(s) pop and immediately feel the cold on the back of my neck and I think "Nice Bean, guess you're cutting back on your quality control budget...Thanks" ... Hope you fix this.

Comfortable and warm, pockets are few, and too small.

Bought this coat last winter and it has kept me warm through some Montana single digit temps.I have to agree with others that the snaps are a pain and velcro is much easier to handle with gloves on and a puffy coat.Other than that it's a winter winner.

This coat keeps me warm, fits nice with the exception of the hood. The hood is to big and covers my eye when I pull it on , I've tried adjusting it but I can't find the sweet spot. The snaps attaching the hood to the collar unsnap to easily.

Bought this to replace a Spyder jacket my husband wore for 10 years when blowing snow. He said it's warm and he likes that it is a bit longer than his previous jacket, also that the pockets are larger and more secure. It seems to be well made, we will see how it holds up to a Minnesota winter.

Very good fit. Quite comfortable. Nice shade of blue. Not too bright. Hasn't been cold enough to really wear it yet but based upon years of buying LL Bean clothing I expect I'll be pleased with the performance.

Nice jacket for the cold weather. Wish it had more collar on it. Zipper is a metal one and works great. I would buy it again.

This is a warm and comfortable coat. It is missing an outside Breast pocket. Also the snaps on the hood come apart to easily. If you can live with these shortcomings, it is a great coat.

Very sharp good looking jacket . Warm , good length sizes are true . Lightweight for such a warm coat ,I've worn it every day since I bought it . The only thing negative is the bad fasteners on the hood . Buttons give the coat a classy look but Velcro would probably be more practical. 5'9 200 . Large fits perfect Love it and would definitely recommend

The jacket is a slimmer fit and I believe it's advertised to be slimmer.
