Surprisingly comfy and warm! This pullover is perfect for throwing on and walking the dog on chilly mornings, or sitting around a campfire on a cold night. If I wear a wool sweater underneath, it's definitely warm enough for 19 degree days of outside walking at the beach or traveling around town. I can see wearing it with a t-shirt on 40 degree days and being just fine. My medium fits me perfectly at 5'7" and 155 pounds.

Absolutely love this unique hooded puffer jacket. Good enough to take hiking in the snow and nice enough to wear to work at the office. Very comfortable. Fits naturally. I had one in another color that I loved so much the moment they had stock again I purchased another colorway. You'll see lots of other brand puffers on everyone everywhere. I have yet to see another one of these out in the wild and I like that uniqueness. Very versatile, can wear on a 50degree rain day or below freezing on the trail and it keeps you warm and dry and comfortable. Quality fabrics and stitching. Great overall jacket. Perfect for PNW weather and life.

This is my travel jacket that I wore through central africa for three months. While using this I got to about 32 degrees before switching to a down jacket. but I wore this thing everywhere. I went hiking and camping to some pretty high altitudes. oh and I was in dirt everyday. I spent a lot of time walking through scrub, doing survey for archaeological sites ( i am an archaeologist, doing this under permit with government and local leaders). this thing held up awesome. I actually waited until there was a sale and then purchased another one for when this eventually dies. I will say that unfortunately the synthetic down does seem to "deflate" a bit after a while. but it's still been great. I mix this up with thermals and get really comfortable in a wide range of weather. but I wouldn't recommend this down near freezing. If you are expecting this jacket to hold during cold temperatures, then you must think it's full of magic or something, because nothing that is thin and light can handle freezing temperatures. I treated this with a permethrin coating and it was solid as well. but I definitely recommend this jacket, just don't be upset if it can't handle basecamp MT Everest.

This pullover is perfect for layering. Not too heavy, not too light. Fit is great and is very comfortable. LL Bean quality and construction as expected, perfect.

I was skeptical about this product. Based on the reviews I went larger and I found a good fit. I have worn it with just a t shirt in below freezing weather and it really kept me warm. It keeps the wind out and really is light weight. Not sure how dry it will keep me.

I ordered the regular but I wish I would have ordered the long. It was just a little shorter than what I'm used to but still fit. I haven't worn it in the rain to see how waterproof it is.

I love this jacket. You could wear it on a wide range of cool temps. I'm almost bummed warm weather is around the corner because I'll have to shelve it for a while.

This jacket is perfect for walking the dog on chilly mornings. While I wasn't able to give it a true test in Lake Tahoe (covid-19), I'm glad I purchased it. It fits great and is great to layer with.

I recommend upsizing by one size. My other LL Bean coat has the same kind and thickness of insulation, and it's a medium and fits perfectly. I had to get this one in large for the right fit. I wear it on top of NH mountains in the middle of winter and I'm nice a warm. It blocks wind quite well too. Just be careful when brushing up against sticks or brush, they tear fairly easily.

I bought this jacket for my husband. I originally bought it in an XL, but he said his arm movements were somewhat restricted and wanted a roomier fit. So I exchanged it for an XXL. He really likes the fit now. We went XC skiing and he was plenty warm with a long sleeve t shirt underneath in about 30 degree temperatures. Keep in mind that there is no stretch to the fabric and you may want to size up if you are planning to do any type of physical activity.

Purchased 2 back in 2018 & they're still in excellent condition. Being in AK with the fluctuating temps this pullover has worked wonderfully! I would add that if you are in-between sizes & only needing a bit longer torso/sleeve order in the Tall. If you are needing more width then go up a size. Purchasing a new color today. Orig purchase M-Reg 5'9, ordering a M-Tall today for growing teen 5'11

i'll start with sizing ..i normally were xl hoodies, i seen reviews saying this item runs small..so i ordered xxl regular, and it fits good. its actually baggy.. this is also very comfortable with warmth similar to a heavyweight hoodie. i cannot say how durable it is but it seems well made. its quickly becoming a favorite !

I wear this pullover almost every day. It's great on cooler days as an outer layer and on colder winter days it makes a great mid layer. My favorite part is how thin and comfortable it is. Definitely a great buy!

L.L. Bean's designers have done it again. This is yet another thoughtful design with the right amount of technical features to be trail worthy with the right balance of styling panache to look good on city streets. I especially like that L.L. Bean is once again featuring their Katahdin Mountain logo. Another nice styling touch is the zipper pull: it pays homage to L.L. Bean's iconic Maine Hunting Shoe. A nice tribute to Bean's outdoor legacy. But make no mistake, it is not just a stylish fashion statement this anorak lives up to L.L. Bean's outdoor legacy. There are several thoughtful design features in this anorak: The placket zips to the mid chest instead of the standard 1/4 length this feature is useful when quickly removing layers while in the field. The kangaroo hand-warmer pouch features hidden zipper pockets perfect for securing keys or a snack bar while on the trail. The quilted stitching increases the insulating factor of the lightweight PrimoLoft filling. This will be a sporty and functional addition to any outdoorman's wardrobe. One note on the fit: it is slightly fitted, so I wear with a lightweight shirt for a less restricting fit.

I had to go up a size because, although it fit well when it was on, it was hard to get off with only a half zip. The jacket is very warm and lightweight. Even with the bigger size it does not feel bulky, and it's great for layering. The diamond-stitch pattern sets it apart, and the zippered security pocket inside the kangaroo pouch is a nice addition.

I like this hoodie, it is good quality and would buy it again, but in a different color. It looks like they have fixed the photos, it originally looked like a light blue and gray, so when I got a light blue and tan jacket I was little surprised. I immediately checked the website on 3 different computers and it looked blue and gray. I kept it because I really like the jacket and now it looks like they updated the pics of the color block versions of this jacket to reflect their true color. I am 5'11" 165lbs and the medium fits perfectly. If I wear a light base layer under it I am comfortable down to 25. It is lightweight and packable so when I don't need it, it packs down small in my daypack. Love the secret cell phone pocket!
