Great vest I wear it to the office, around town and you can use it in the field.

The vest is great looking and well crafted. It is obviously made to last. I had a bit of trouble with the sizing. I am 5 foot 11, 169 lbs. The Medium had a good to slightly generous fit in the chest and middle, but I wish it were an inch or two longer to provide more coverage past the belt. It looks fine when you are wearing a tucked in shirt, but if you are wearing it over an untucked sweater then it is not quite long enough. I am fairly certain sizing up to Large would be too bulky for me.

Cozy, comfy. Rides up a little though when zipped.

After receiving it today size XL seems a bit generous. I'm 220 5'10.. Read through the existing reviews and surprise they are all hubby 3rd party reviews, someone brought the vest for someone else and then gave it a five star review, very suspicious

Good material. Comes a little tight. Not worth sending back, recommending ordering one size up.

It is a cozy vest. Well fit. Too bad the beige color was sold out.

Warm, comfortable and well made wool vest. The design is allows me to wear it almost anywhere from out hiking in the woods to wearing it to church on a cool Sunday morning. This is exactly what I needed. I'm 6'3" and the large fits perfectly. The hand warmer pockets are VERY warm and soft. Two negatives kept me from giving it five stars. The pockets are designed such that any items stored there (e.g., cellphone, keys, cough drops) will likely fall out when you move around. The zipper, while very easy to operate, really needs to have the lower zip so it can adjusted up for various activities. Overall - this is a great vest and I've enjoyed wearing.

Beautifully made and warm. Hubby really likes it. Hindsight, I think he could have worn a Medium. He's always a large to xl. It run a little full in tummy area. Definitely recommend. We live north of Philadelphia, so it can get cold. Sable color very nice.

Looks great fits great and it's warm. Great collar lining and pockets.

Not the same heavy wool as what I purchased 8-9 years ago. Like everything else not quite as good as before. This is still a great, quality made vest I enjoy wearing. Just not as warm as before. Price the same, wool just less. I would recommend.

I like everything about this sweater vest except the price. Why is it the exact price ($99) as an equivalent sweater even though it has no arms? Why isn't it $20 cheaper (as normal vests are to their corresponding jackets)?

The overall quality is very good. It is thick as I was hoping with pockets well designed and warm. The only issue is the zipper. It's hard to use and not very fluid. In other words it gets stuck. But other than that is is a nice vest. So much so I decided to buy another.

I like this vest, nice wool material & I like the Cider color. Not a fan of the high collar, but I tried it on with one of my llbean flannel shirts and I no longer noticed it. As others have said ,the zipper catches the wool and it may tear after a little use. The high collar seems to be a fad this year, but llbean "fix that zipper".

Great fit, look, and very comfortable. The zipper's left half is tucked under the seam, so it takes a little more effort to first line the two halves when zipping. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Very nice warm and durable sweater vest, great for office or outdoors. The one issue is the fabric and zipper are too close and keeps getting caught up in the zipper, very annoying.

It was a gift but he loved it. Only problem at LLBean this year was nothing in stock!

The vest looks smart and the color perfect. However, the vest should have, for the price, interior pockets! We were both surprised and disappointed that it does not.

I really like this vest. It's a nice heavy wool fabric with lined collar. I wish that the zipper were pastic, as it does not feel good on the face when zipped up. Also, I don't know why the sizing on this is such a mess but the medium would have fit someone 50 pounds heavier than I am, it was so large. I returned it for a small. What I don't understand how a company like Bean can get such a thing so screwed up. So it's a nice sweater. Just buy it a size smaller, at least if you typically wear a medium.

As always with LL Bean, this is very high quality and stylish. It's very comfortable and the fit is spot on. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is the zipper. It's awkward to get it started because the male side of the zipper is recessed too deep in fabric. Almost every time I try to get it attached it takes a while.

It is a great vest. I would give it 5 stars if the neck was not too tight when zipped up fully. It presses against my Adam's apple if I zip it all the way up, but I keep it zipped only to base of my neck and it's very comfortable. It is very warm. Almost too warm for our climate but it's perfect on really cold days. The pockets are nice and deep and the inside fabric is really cosy. It is also really stylish. I like the feel of the fabric too.
