I purchased this item as a gift for my husband and he was SO pleased. The sizing was correct, the style was excellent, and the quality of the sweater was even more than expected.

Ordered this vest for husband and it was made true-to-size and with super quality. He really liked it as I ordered him the navy with brown suede trim. Looks nice dressing it up or down a bit.

My husband loves this sweater vest. He wears it at home when the weather is chilly and outside for a light wrap during our southern winter. It washes well and we hope it will last for a long time.

I bought this vest for my dad to keep his core warm and give ease of movements. He loved this vest. It is warm and nice looking. Colar was bothering him a little bit but he did not want to return the vest when I asked. He actually wears this vest all the time since he got it. Nice construction and feel.

The vest was a gift for my husband. Just as I expected the quality is great. The fit was nice and very classy looking. My husband found that it provided just enough extra warmth to be pleasantly comfortable without feeling too bulky. He loves it!!

This vest is one of the best I have ever had. It keeps me nice and warm. A lot of times I don't even need to put a jacket on over it.

This is by fare the warmest sweater vest I have ever used and it is great for layering when it is cold and windy. Would have liked the option of leather shoulder patches.

I purchased the vest in the "logan" color and will admit that the images on the site don't do it justice. The color isn't made of solid color but is a beautiful mix of green and brown in a complex weave. It looks great. In addition, the piping is of a brown sueded material that is very soft and a sharp detail. It's warm too.

I have been waiting for a great vest to come along for a very long time. I knew if I would ever see what I wanted it would be from LLB or it's neighborly competitor. Well, L.L.Bean came through first and their newly released Waterfowl Sweater Vest is hands down the best vest yet. This is so perfect for warm cover and for casual wear indoors or out that you may want another one in an other color. I'm thinking of ordering a 2nd one myself. No more Polartech and that sort for me. Thanx folks at LLB, for making my wait worthwhile; this is truly The Best Vest Yet!

This is a unique item and a refreshing change from fleece products. It is beautifully styled and the quality of the workmanship is excellent.

Searched and searched for a nice blue 100% wool vest and bought this one. Looks amazing. Only thing is I didn't read close enough. All wool exclusive of trim. Polyester fleece pockets and poly suede neck lining. I hate that my skin touches the plastic parts. I like to be all-natural druid in my cozy clothes. Recommend if you're not into the 100% natural lifestyle tho.

Large was to large and the material was a bit to stiff.

Stylish, and in a Bean manner, well made sweater. I must say though that in general I have difficulty with Bean sizing. I am 6', about 170'lbs. trim and the size chart prescribed size M. And reviewing sizes of other customers, it is no help as physique and sizing are all over the place. Bought the medium and it was too perfect, too snug a fit and my concern was wearing something other than a tee shirt under the sweater. So returned it for L, a better fit but a bit loose. Bean medium as I recall is 39-40 with large st 40-42. I imagine that I, like others fall in between. My experience with Bean sizing is that depending upon the garment, sometimes I am M, sometimes L. This was the case with the Warm Up hacker as well. Consistency in sizing would help and lessen the need for repeated ordering and returning. Glad I use the Bean credit card to save on shipping.

So far, I am very happy with this item. Quality materials, construction. Great layering option in the cooler months

Very warm...my husband really likes his vest. Wish you had more of these in stock or at least a second style.

This vest is quite warm and comfortable. But the pockets are too small and the fit in the armpits isn't great. I liked the green and brown colors, but they didn't look good on me.

The vest is really well made and handsome! We have had many vests for my husband over the years, never the quality, so our son is benefitting from my former experience. Would be a five star, but I was quite sure I ordered the -- Cider color, altho I did not want to reorder. My own vest from 22 years ago is still looking really great too.

Great sweetheart, prefect for layering on cold days. Does require a long sleeve heavy shirt to cut down on the wooly ich. All in all a good quality product.

Vest is not scratchy! The Merino wool is very comfortable. Vest is great for layering under my Baxter State parka! I'm 6', 185 vest is just a tad large around waist and a little long at same. The suede collar is really comfy. I also purchased the full sweater in mediumit is now my favorite. I can wear it with just a t-shirtfit is spot on! I wouldn't try to wear a shirt underneath. The wool maintains warmthamazing!

Warm and very to wear. Pockets are lined with warming fabric. Seems to pill up after just a few days of wear.

Would be better with lining. I want woman's version

Very nice quality somewhat heavier weight wool vest. Fit my 155 lb 5' 9" slim build perfectly in a medium. Nice green color.

Lovely well made sweater. Quite warm and very comfortable. Looks great too. Would have given 5 stars if it had an inside pocket or two. The design has none.

Great indoor sweater for cold winter days; warm and comfortable; and, because it's a vest, you can roll up your sleeves to do dishes, etc. Loses one star for being a bit baggy in front, but that's probably because I weigh 120 lbs.
