This is my 2nd Waterfowl sweater. Great fit and and very warm, This is my 13th 100% wool sweater purchased from LL BEAN.

More suitable for Dad Bods, I'm an Athletic fit Indian Guy. It's loose for me.

Waterfowl sweater is fantastic! I love it! Old school. Great quality, Don't be afraid to stick to your roots, there's a market for it.

My husband has been living in this sweater since we got it. Beautiful, soft, warm, perfect for the weather we've been having. Layered with the 1924 Field Coat it's keeping him comfortably warm down into the high 20s low 30s. The only thing he's wishing for is a full-zip version vs the pullover.

Most comfortable sweatshirt I own now, this is great. It is thick and very warm yet also breathable enough to wear indoors. Well worth the price!

Warm comfortable sweater just what I was looking for! I am 5'8 and weigh 190 lbs and ordered a large regular.

This heavyweight sweater keeps me warm on dog walks in freezing weather. When the temperatures drop into the single digits, I put a synthetic insulated jacket over the sweater. Wool keeps one warm in cold weather.

This is handsome sweater for cold days outdoors or even inside if the heat is low. There's just enough room for tee shirt under the sweater if you don't like wool next to your body.

Even better IRL. Not baggy, ever so slightly fitted maybe. Flattering, the look around the head and neck are the best. I got the one without GoreTex, it is plenty warm in moderate wind.

Beautiful classic sweater. With a dress shirt or T and a scarf it's the perfect go-to item.

I bought a 1/4 zip Waterfowl Sweater in Forest Shadow Heather color last winter. It is best worn over a light shirt of contrasting color. For outdoor use a light synthetic shirt for wicking. That is both Merino wool, a finer wool than normal, and Merino lambs' wool , even finer than regular Merino, makeing it nice and soft. This is a PREMIUM wool sweater in materials and build.

Come fall this comfy wool sweater, layered over a classic tee, should easily keep off the chill. Gently ribbed at the cuffs and waist with a soft suede lining about your neck. Well made and an attractive sable brown - I liked it from the box, and even more once I had slipped it over my head. The Medium a perfect fit for my 5'9", 170 lb, fading athletic build.

I wear it hunting and out to events. Great to wear under hunting coat in cold weather.

Great wool sweater, perfect for Fall hikes on east coast

This sweater has rapidly become my favorite for windy or blustery spring or Autumn weather. It is stylish, comfortable, and practical.

This is an amazing sweater fits well and did well in light rain and 40 degree temps.

I love this Merino wool sweater. I bought it in both the brown and green versions. Very warm, stylish and well fitting. I found it in the hunting section of the Freeport store.

Great sweater. Looks good. Can be casual or a little dressy, depending on the rest of your outfit. It is warm and wears just as expected. It is slightly fitted, just as described on the website. I'd say the torso below the chest down to the waist is a little baggy, at least on the one I received. The wool is relatively soft and not too itchy (for wool). If you are sensitive, you'll want a layer between the sweater and your skin. It looks good under a jacket or on its own. It is warm in both cold and cold and damp weather. It breathes well if you're doing chores outside.

Quite warm when layered with a windproof shell, but amazingly breathable when worn alone. One of those garments that seems to be perfect over a wide range of temperatures. The fleece lined collar is very comfortable on the neck. I use mine quite a bit when upland bird hunting in cold weather, but it is also the first one I reach for if I know I'll be sitting in cold weather. In spite of heavy use, it has shown little pilling. Highly recommended!
