I received this sweater and immediately adopted it for the cold days we are in. The construction is solid. I like the fabric in the wear sections that promises a lot of mileage. The color is my favorite.

This is a great sweater. Top notch styling. Wear it indoors with the thermostat turned down and save a few bucks. Outdoors in the bitter cold. It will keep you warm. Good value.

Thick, warm, roomy! I purchased this for work-related outdoor activities. I'm 6'6, 280# with a tall torso. The fit is just right: non-restrictive, warm as can be. Great sweater.

The sleeves are extremely long. The sweater is of good quality and warm.

Appears to be very well made. The wool is soft. Elbow and shoulder patches are substantial. A good, warm sweater.

This is a nice sweater, true to size and the ribbed knit makes it fit snugly, so it's nice and warm. My local store doesn't carry these so I ordered online, and based on the pictures I went with the Deep Woods Green Heather. A dull brown sweater arrived, with not a hint of green. I returned it and ordered the Loden Heather color; it just arrived and it's a nice dark olive green, much darker green than the photo on the web page but still a very nice, rich color, and really closer to what I was hoping for. It may be my screen that is altering the appearance of the color - but I've viewed this page on an iPad, iPhone and a MacBook and none of those look like the physical object in daylight. I'm glad I returned the brown one and got what I wanted, and am sure I'll get a lot of use out of it - but use caution when selecting your color! I've tweaked the attached photo to show the actual sweater as true as I can make it - I can't quite get a perfect match, real cooor is richer than in my photo; in the process of tweaking the color of the pic on the tablet in the photo didn't really change much, just the brightness that's the web page photo of the Loden Heather color displayed on the tablet

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. He has it in another color so I knew he would love it. And he does.

Excellent Commando Sweater! Perfect fit for me (L), sleeves fit my arm length and not that of a knuckle dragger. Note: The sleeve end comes rolled up as shown in store pic and as it should be. If I were to unroll it (didn't even try), it would have been too long. It feels perfect, but I always wear some kind of shirt underneath, usually a t-shirt. It's heavier than a sweatshirt, but not not too heavy. I really love this sweater. The only drawback is that you have to hand wash it in cold water or off to the cleaners for dry clean.

Very comfortable, especially when worn with a long-sleeve T-shirt. I expect to wear frequently. The T-shirt can add a flash of color to an otherwise somewhat utilitarian-looking sweater.

I'm a big fan of these sweaters. They are warm, durable and great in the blind or deer stand. This is my 4th Bean hunting sweater!

Warm, comfortable, good looking. Its not wind proof so a good base layer is useful. Lots of compliments on my sweater. Ive had four commando sweaters over several decades

perfect fit, warmth of real wool, wonderful for indoors and outdoors wear. Plus .... modeled after WWII British commando sweaters. My wife thinks it looks quite dashing!

It is comfortable and it feels great when I put it on not too tight or too large fits the body just right. Got my size and it was no problem. I can wear it casually or dress it up. My sweater is a nice piece added to my wardrobe. I would definitely recommend this sweater as a gift or or to anyone who wants to buy it for themselves.

Very warm, and feels heavy duty. If you're looking for a heavy, wool sweater that offers substantial insulation on its own, this is a great choice. As you can expect from almost any wool or wool blend clothing, at first this has a few itchy spots. After wearing it for a bit you will stop noticing it - so it's not a deal breaker, unless you have very sensitive skin.

Love this sweater. True to size. Well made and comfortable. I look forward to wearing it for many Maine winters.
