Been on the hunt for a quality belt. Manistee is very impressive. Color, brown, is very rich. Just purchased, so how it will hold up is not known. That has been my biggest problem with cheap belts, they fall apart or crease badly. Expecting good with this product.

Allen Edmonds consistently makes quality products. This belt is also of excellent quality. My only disappointment was that this black Manistee belt did not have the usual gloss and sheen of what I was expecting for this belt. I ordered a Manistee belt in brown a few years back. It has a beautiful subdued gloss and sheen on it. I thought the black should be the same. The black belt that I received has a dull unfinished look to it. I would love to exchange this belt if it should have had a gloss and sheen to it. Otherwise, I'll remain somewhat displeased with the one I received. Thank-you.

This belt is very good-looking and of excellent quality. My only complaint is that the belt I received runs small. I'm a 37 waist and usually order a 38, as I did with this belt, but the Manistee was very short -- I wear it on the first belt hole instead of the usual third.

These are good belts. These are my second ones. Lost weight needed to get smaller size. The black is great but the brown/chili color is hard to keep looking good. The color fades were the buckle engages eyelets. I did what I was told and used shoe polish to restore the color but that did not work very well.

I have had the Mainistee belt in four colors. I have had the Dark Chili recently replaced (past three or four months) due to color wearing off where the belt cinches. If I have to tighten or losen the belt the color is gone where the belt is normally cinched and shows. Unfortunately, the replacement belt has done the same thing with even less wear. The same belt in the other colors has not had the same issue with the color rubbing off even with more wear. I am disappointed that it was not an isolated problem with the original belt.

A great classic look. Supple leather should not crack at the buckle holes.

The belt seems to be great. But I've learned from experience you need to see how it wears over several weeks or so before you can really confirm the quality.

I purchase the bourbon color belt to match my Randolph loafers. Beautiful color and craftsmanship, perfect match to the shoes. A little pricey but overall very satisfied with the purchase.

I love all of your products! The online purchase experience is not quite as good as the in store. When I purchase in store, the items I purchase are wrapped and bagged nicely. The items ordered online were a gift, and did not come with the beautifully branded tissue or bag. I would love for the people I purchase the items for to be able to have the full experience, and become lifelong Allen Edmunds fanatics like Iam.

Be careful with the size, I chose a 34 and now I am stock with a belt that doesn't really fit me that confortable. Make sure you get a size up.

I like the belt and kept it. It is a nice compliment to shoes like the Vernon and Cornwallis. However, compared to the basic dress belt, it is not as pliable and not as thick. While it works as a belt should, it does not have the same feel as my other AE belts. Like a good glass of whisky, it is stiff and functional.

I have bought AE products in the past, loved them, I recently bought a Manistee belt to match my new shoes (Navy). Since I now have a few Manistee belts of different colors, I hang them together, I noticed several differences. The quality of my older belts are superior, the leather is thicker and the finished edge has a slight lip and more detail. The actual thickness of the belt at the crown is noticeably thinner on new addition. Still a nice belt .

These are nice belts. I have two: brown & black. The problem is the buckle. After a few years, the out silver-colored (chrome?) layer wears off to reveal a brass-colored solid core. The leather is still fine and for such a costly belt, it's disappointing to have a shoddy-looking buckle after a few years.

This is a good quality belt, but the walnut color is quite a bit darker than Allen Edmonds walnut color shoes. I think the belt is a little overpriced, but that is subjective opinion and I'd probably buy this belt again.

Your products are always top notch. They are very high quality. For that reason, I guess I expected that the belt would have come in a box. It was a Christmas gift.

Great craftsmanship. Allen Edmonds the King of the dress boot.

I have owned other belts from Allen Edmonds and their quality and color have matched the shoes I own perfectly. However this new purchase was much darker and shaded on the edges. Fit was perfect and it is a nice looking belt.

Great belt but size was larger than described on website and I had to return the first one.

The color of this belt is stated as "brown" but it does not match the color brown of Allen Edmonds brown shoes. It is closer to the Allen Edmonds' bourbon color. Still looking for real brown.

Overall I like this style. The last one I bought was in merlot to match a pair of oxblood Graysons. It was more black than red but they don't offer it in oxblood.

I really enjoy this belt as it is a good match with my multiple pairs of walnut AE shoes that I own. It looks great with a suit or causal dress, and is true to size.

I've purchased two of these belts to go with my McCallisters and they are a beautiful combination in the Merlot(I believe this was before the Dark Chili came out) and they look great, but the Whiskey belt was not quite as close to the Whiskey shoe as I imagined, but still quite happy with them.
