Based size selection on LLB chart comparing to Brooks Running shoes. Didn't fit; in fact could not get them on so returned them.

Bought a size 10 for my husband for Christmas, even after reading reviews that slipper was too difficult to get on. It shouldn't have been a disappointment when slipper opening was too small to let his foot enter easily, but it was. It's such a shame - such a nice looking slipper that appears otherwise well made. He liked it and wanted to wear it (his is not a wide foot). Sadly returned it after reading other reviews that reordering a bigger size did not resolve the difficulty.

I like the nubby sole, which really grips the surface, and they are very warm, making a walk to the mailbox or to put out the garbage or recycle bins out a pleasant experience. The sizing is fine, once you are able to get your feet inside the slippers. The photos are misleading in suggesting a foot can easily slide in but not so. The front part is so long there is but a small entry point for a foot to go in. Putting the slippers on is a miserable task. And dont think the little tab at the back is of any use. First of all, it is tiny and can't hardly get a finger in to use it to help put the slipper on. And, it is basically under your heel to foot arch as you start to slide your foot in. Then you basically have to pry the back piece from under your arch to get it past your heel and get your foot in. Don't go for thr boot style. Ot else you'll end up just flattening the back heel part and wearing the slipper as a slide.

These look great, the lining is as described, BUT there isn't any ankle support. You might as well be wearing thick slipper socks, I'd send them back if I could. !!!!

Like the slipper part, warm & cozy & good gripe to foot. However returning for a different pair of slippers w/ a more normal sole. The chain maine hunting boot sole is great in the field; but uncomfortable to walk on, inside on a hard floor.

The inner sole on this slipper after less than one year of light use has come out and the slipper now has an oder likely from the failed glue. I really expected better wear out of these and better quality from LL Bean.

Can hardly get these on. The opening is too small--a bad design.

They seemed poorly made; I could barely get them on my feet, and once on they leaned toward the middle. I was very disappointed.
