Very stiff at first. Took about two weeks to break them in. Very comfortable now.

Comfortable weather resistant work shoe. I tried it on at the store in the regular width and it felt narrow as I am used to Keen shoes which have the wide toe box, so I ordered the wide online. I've been wearing them work days for almost 3 months now and I love them. I plan to buy them again when these wear out.

everything is typical of LLB stuff! I would have chosen different laces, but these are OK. I have applied Neat's Foot oil and the shoes soak it up just like the olden days---comfortable also

These shoes fit great and are very comfortable right out of the box. I love them. As with any item from LL Bean, its top-of-the-line quality.

They run long so get a 1/2 size smaller than you'd usually wear. I'm a 10 1/2 but that size were like canoes on my feet. 10s fit great with plenty of room for bulky socks if needed!

One of the most comfortable shoes, I have ever worn. I bought these because of heel pain. When I wear these shoe, the heel pain isn't felt.

I have trouble finding a shoe that is comfortable. I'm a bit flat footed so many D width shoes squeeze my feet and are painful. These happen to come in E width. What a huge difference. I normally wouldn't buy a shoe through a catalog but I trust LL Bean with most of my clothes because they're always cut to size perfectly and look as good as they do in the catalog. These shoes look really good, especially while wearing a pair of jeans or corduroys. These are quality shoes and don't be surprised by the compliments.

They look great, a super comfortable fit, very well made. I highly recommend these shoes.
