2nd pair. 1st pair lasted a couple decades with some late patches by a cobbler, but I finally wore through (outer layer). Breaking in the new pair was a snap: slipped them on and immediately comfortable like the old ones.

I've looked at these slippers for about a year only hesitating to buy due to price. When they arrived, you could tell they were made with quality materials. Ive had mine about a month and a half. They're comfortable and very nice looking. I am disappointed that the heel insert (I guess is what it would be called) is glued in and that it has a portion of foam that sticks out past the edges of the leather heel insert. My "heel insert" is already coming unglued with minimal inside wear over the past month and a half. I would expect complete leather construction that is stitched through for longevity. Time will tell how well they hold up. I give them 4 stars because the heel is already pulling up. Also, make them in half sizes once you get to 9,10,11, and 12. 10's were too small, 11s are a little loose.

Leather tie thong needs to be re-routed under the tongue of the slipper. The exposed thongs are very uncomfortable on the top of your foot. I re-routed the thong ties to the sides or the upper portion of the slipper. This corrects the problem. Very uncomfortable otherwise. I almost returned these.

Leather looked nice on the outside. Inside it did not have the soft leather lining of previous purchases. It looked and felt like plastic. And no foam padding that shapes to the foot. Sole much too slippery.

These are exactly what I wanted as my feet get too hot in the lined slippers. I did order a size up because I'm a half size. I will tell you this, they are extremely slippery on carpet until they get roughed up a bit. And honestly, that only took a couple of days wearing them around the house to accomplish.

Had to order these slippers in men's because they stopped carrying them in women's sizes.

These slippers are a real winner. Very comfortable and great looking. Well made and not from China. I know I'll be wearing these for a long time.

For years I've gone cheap on my slippers and always hated them. No more! I normally wear a 10.5 boot so I got the size 11 expecting that with socks they'd fit well; they fit GREAT! They ARE slick bottoms so the first thing I did once I was confident in the fit was head outside and scrape around up and down the sidewalk a couple times. Looking forward to enjoying these for years to come.

This is an outstanding comfortable men's slipper that my family has worn and purchased for decades. L L Bean used to offer these for women and they were my very favorite for many years. Sure wish LL Bean would bring them back for women.

After 13 years, I thought it was time I replace my Raisin Bison Leather Lined Slippers with a new pair. Since COVID-19, I have been working from home, and these have been my daily footwear. Even before this, they went on my feet as soon as I got home from work. I have a wider foot, so I wear a size up. The new pair is exactly like the last, and I expect 13 years of wear for this pair too. They are amazingly warm, as the leather maintains the heat. They are so comfortable. See the photo.

My husband loves his slippers. He would like them even better if he had a sole on the bottom as they are a bit slippery.

These slippers are very comfortable especially for me being that my feet run hot. I did not want any fleece or faux fur linings and these are the ticket. Only issue is the "leather" lining for the foot bed is so thin it cracks/splits/fractures very easily and the renders the slipper useless as the material then bunches up in the toe box and there is no way to correct that once it happens. This is a lot of money to spend on a slipper that I have had to replace 2 times in 3 years.

Quality workmanship, materials, style, comfort, and appearance.

Been wearing moccasins since my early teens, now 75. These are the best, all things considered, commercially available, at this price. They are for indoor use only. You will get 2-4 years out of them. Maybe 5 years if you don't scuff your feet and they will be worn out with holes in the bottom. Good value for the money - recommended.

Second pair. First pair worn quite a few years. Still working good.

Love these slippers, second pair, girt pair lasted 14 years through all sorts of environments.

The slippers I purchased from L.L. Bean are incredible. The fit is great and they look great too.

Have worn the LLBean double-sole, leather-lined, moccasin slipper as my at-home, lounging footwear for about 30 years during which I've worn-out about 15 pair. The bison leather version is my favorite. No single-sole slipper could have come close in durability. Hope to continue buying them and receiving them as gifts for years to come.

Very pleased with the Bison slipper both fit and qualityalthough I did have to reorder as ordering a size up was too big.
