The quality was very good, but the size 11 fit felt smallish and narrow for my feet. And this was without the thick socks I would have on my feet in winter. Also the soles felt too narrow - I could feel the outer edge of my feet having a very slight but noticable overhang from the edge of the soles. I normally take a size 10 1/2 and I have a narrow foot, so I'm not used to having size 11 medum-width footware feel this way. Of course the lining is thick sheepskin, which of course over time will compress and will wear down. But how much, and how long would it take? Half sizes aren't available, so I'd have to go to a size 12 and perhaps a wide EE , I decided to return them and try the Wicked Good Mocassins.

The slippers are comfortable and fit properly. I was unsure what size since I wear a 10 1/2 size shoe, but getting the size 10 slipper makes a nice snug but not too tight fit.

Quality of the slipper is very, very good. Comfortable and warm. The only two issues I had is that, (1) going my my shoe size (13), they were two sizes too large, and (2) the insole feels a bit narrow. I had to return the 13's for a 12, then bought a second pair, size 10. The 10's were too small, so I returned those for an 11. I gave away the 12's and the 11's fit great! Give a lot of thought to ordering one or two sizes smaller than your street shoe size!

As the title says, I've had these slippers for over 5 years and now have to buy a new pair. The only thing that "failed" on them was that the cloth lacing they use to stitch the sheepskin upper to the sole of the slipper eventually frayed and snapped. If it hadn't, I would likely still be wearing them. I think that you won't find that many warm and comfortable slippers out there that will last that long. I really wonder though, if they would have held up twice that long if a leather thong was used to stitch them up instead of the fabric lace.

This is a fine slipper and my third pair since my dog chewed up the previous ones. I have purchased this slipper as a gift many times. However, the pair I just received for myself seems a bit small for the size I ordered. They may take some time breaking in.

They run a bit small, even after breaking in, but they are very comfortable slippers that keep your ankles warm, unlike many others.

I will admit that I prefer slippers with a durable bottom so as to go outside. These slippers are very warm, soft, and comfortable but have bottom not made for outside wear. Nonetheless they are great and conform to feet very well. I would order again but I know I like to step off the porch without having to change into something else so would pefer Minnetonka with durable bottoms. But this is great slipper I cannot deny.

Have bought 3 pairs 1 pair ladies size 9 , 1 man size 12 and 1 man size 10. The mens fit and feel great . except the ladies 9 is to short and 10 is to long , they need to make half sizes people with neurophy in their toes can't handle the pressure. except for being to short they are wonderful

They are very comfortable slippers. I love them and have had several pairs over the years. The only negative that I would change is to make the heel pad a bit wider. One word of caution: They are not made for outdoor exposure or getting wet in any way. The stitching connecting the soles to the uppers is just cloth and is not durable against any abusive scraping or exposure to moisture.

This is his second pair. He has had these for 6 years & they were still fine except our puppy bit a hole in the toe of one & his toe sticks out.

The look and warmth are good, but the down side is no arch support and souls are suede not hard leather or rubber. Thus, outside use is not practical if weather is wet even to get a paper.

Your records should indicate that I bought an identical pair of slippers about three years ago. The old ones were great while they lasted. If the new ones last as long I'll be satisfied.

I HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH LL BEAN FOR OVER 40 YEARS. I HAVE RARELY BEEN DISAPOINTED. THOSE RARE TIMES I WAS ABLE TO RETURN THE ITEM WITH NO HASSLE. THE SLIPPERS ARE GREAT EXCEPT I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED AS TO HOW THE LEATHER SOLE WILL HOLD UP OVER TIME.

These slippers keep my feet warm without making them sweat, even is warmer weather (it's 89 as I write this). They're definitely measnt for indoor use, though a short woal to the garage is OK. The best thing is that they stay on my feet even though I have fairly narrow heels. Unfortunately, I had to replace ths slippers twice before getting a good pair. The first was perfect until the seams on the heel flap started somcing out. The second fit very crookedly on both feet, makig it hard to wok in them (basically, on side of my feet hung off on edge of the sole while the other side sat well in). LLBean came through with returns, though.

OK so I'm torn when writing this. These are without a doubt, the most comfortable slippers I've ever own and I've tried quite a few. I purchased my current pair just before winter 2010-2011 (it's spring 2012 now), so they've been worn 2 winters. They don't get a lot of walking on as the soles (still in good shape) can attest, mostly sitting around the house. Unfortunately, the inner footbed is wearing through (see photo). Now 1.5 years isn't a bad amount of time for a shoe to last, but that would be for a shoe being worn around a lot. Given that these are winter slippers whose only outdoor wear is cooking on the deck or walking to the mailbox, and whose prime use is keeping my feet toasty warm while sitting and watching TV, the speed that the footbed has worn out is disappointing. I'm still giving them 4 stars because they are so incredibly comfortable, but did expect them to hold up much better. At almost $60 a pair now, they're extremely expensive for a 1-2 winter indoor slipper.

Comfortable for after a long day. Looking forward to wearing them as "hut shoes" when hiking the Alps!

This is a great slippermy last pair lasted well over 10 years of South Dakota winters (and falls and springs). The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the slippers don't come in half-sizes, and that's really what I need, especially in wide sizes. My last pair were 9W; my new pair are 8W. The earlier ones slipped on my feet a bit; the new ones are just a bit snug. However, I recommend going a half-size lower rather than higher: the slippers will stretch a bit with wear.

I have had two pair of the wicked slippers. My 13 year old grandson used to try to squeeze his feet in and could until this last year. So for his 13th birthday, I sent for a pair. He loves them

Last pair bought 15 years ago and worn three seasons extensively is still in good shape except the sole; the stitching is unraveling where my darn left foot is too wide!

They fit well and are warm. while well made, I feel that the leather would have been more substantial so I could slip them on without the hands. The modern soft affect to clothing is something I don't like.
