Excellent comfortable house shoe that keeps your feet hot or warm enough on winter days in the house. The only problem is that they put the tag in the shoe and most of the time it is comfortable and very few times uncomfortable.

This is the second pair of these slippers I have bought for my husband. The first pair last 10 years and I expected the same, but after 18 months the lacing that holds one of the slippers started to disintegrate. When I contacted LL Bean they said it was past the return date and I had limited recourse. I am disappointed.

My husband has neuropathy in his feet. He wears these to bed to keep his feet warm. No wide width this year. So sad. No new slippers.

I bought these for my husband after he did some unsupervised online shopping for cheap slippers. Well, he did nothing but complain about the cheap ones. So, they were returned and I chose these cozy, comfy, over-the-ankle slippers. He loves them! Perfect for nippy winter mornings and theyll last for years. I know, because he had another pair like these years ago. You get what you pay for. These are worth every penny.

Dad had these for years, bought new ones same size and just doesnt stretch to foot at all. Really uncomfortable. Can these be stretched by a cobbler?

Love, love , love these slippers. Keep feet warm when it's cold and cool when it's warm. Been wearing them for years, ever since my late Dad bought them for me one Christmas around 2003! Only problem is because I wear them all the time, they eventually (7-8 years) take on foot odor and can't seem to find a way to clean the inside... Good excuse though, for a new pair!

A great slipper; please consider removing the tag from the instep area.

Second winter enjoying them. Materials are fine, save the cotton cord holding them together- it's garbage. Should be leather. Leather soles are super slippery outside in the snow, so I just use em for around the house or on the porch. Pros: super warm and comfortable. Once I relace them with leather cord, and slather some of that rubber texturized sole in a can stuff, they'll be perfect !

Husband has always worn these slippers. Replaced a pair that was over 10 years old. New pair not holding up. One slipper has run over to one side after just a few months. Not worth the money we spent. Will be looking for a new brand,

Love these slippers. Only choice for me many many many years. But the price point has become ridiculous. Recent purchase was only after on-site discount coupon + BofA credit card cash back. LL Bean, please consider you are pricing your loyal customers out.

I have worn these slippers for years. I replace them every two years or so just to have a new fluffy inside. They will fit tight at first until the inside forms to your foot. Make sure you are wearing these on the flat bottom and not letting it roll to one side. Eventually it will naturally fit flat. These are great slippers for me because I have neurological problems and find it difficult to lift my feet well. These glide across all floor surfaces for me. I have recently found it impossible to find any other slippers with soft sole bottoms. Everything is made with indoor/outdoor soles. What's up with that? Is there some new law against soft-bottom soles?!!! I can't get the type with elastic around the opening on due to other physical limitations. The look of this slippers is not what I want, but I find no other choices.

The first two pair I received had construction flaws, but exchanging them was hassle-free. The final pair I received are constructed we'll, fit nicely, are are what I expected.

My Dad (95yo) has worn these slippers for decades and loved them. I love mine too! Recently ordered Dad a new pair. Due to leg and foot swelling, he could not get the 10 on his foot. Ordered an 11, and still no go. Have they gone down in size?? So I have two pairs to send back. I want to try another wicked good slipper style, but getting discouraged. :(

These were a replacement for the old slippers after many years. Very nice and warm. Only problem is the tags sewn into the seam - inside the slipper, with potential rubbing.

I've purchased so many pairs of these Wicked Good Slippers over the years. A really comfortable slipper. The one caveat is that they really only last about a year due to the stitching wearing out, coming undone. Due to this flaw I end up purchasing a new pair roughly every year or so.

Frustrating. I bought these slippers to replace the exact same item that I purchased 19 years ago. My old ones held up excellent all that time, except I had to repair a stretch of the heavy cord holding the uppers to the sole awhile back. Alas, 19 years is a long time and they are getting to the end of their story. The new slippers appear to be of the same quality as the old. Extremely warm. The deep wool feels like your feet are in a heated cloud. But I had to order three pairs to finally get a pair that kind of fits. My originals were 11Ms, so that's what I bought. The left one fit very nicely, the right pinched my toes. You could see at a glance there was something wrong; the toe too pointed and a distortion on the side. Returned them. No hassle, no cost. The second pair, still 11Ms, were both uniform, but both too small. I tried wearing them a few days to see if they'd stretch, but finally had to return them. I reluctantly ordered 12Ms the third time. These fit Ok, but kind of weird. The feel like they want to slip to the outside under my feet. And, the right toe, again, is slightly pinched and, again, you can see it is too pointed just looking at it in comparison to the left. Due to ordering a size large, though, I think these will stretch out to where they will fit comfortably. Now I'm just concerned they will eventually become so stretched that keeping them on will be difficult. They are at the edge of fitting too loose even now. I appreciate that these are apparently hand made in the USA, and very high quality, but that's just too much variability between samples. If you were right at the store and could try on a number of pairs it might be OK. Ordering online; very cumbersome and time consuming. So, frustrating.

One shoe was noticeably longer than the other (by about 1/2 size to 1 size), even after accounting for a small difference in foot size. Otherwise these are as wonderful and well-made as always. Sending the set back.

These slippers have a nice ankle height. They will keep my feet warm in the house. I was surprised that my feet seem to slide sideways in them easily. I don't remember that happening on the other similar slippers I had. The sole seems to be different than the others.

The slippers were a bit tight at first and pretty hard to get on. I ordered larger than my shoe size because who likes tight slippers? The bottoms were fairly rolled which made walking at first difficult. But after a few weeks of break-in, they are starting to feel like slippers finally.

Pet Peeve Alert....Being rather technical and a bit of a QA geek, asymmetry drives me nuts, and this is my third pair of wicked good slippers in which the fleece on the top of one slipper is like 3/4 of an inch and the other is around 1/4 of an inch (but they are still the only slipper I ever buy because of the comfort).
