I chose these high-top slippers for extra coverage in the winter. They are quite snug and warm. The fit is a little narrow, but they break in. They are expensive but they are well-made from quality materials. Both the upper and the sole are made from real suede leather. The lining is artificial but it feels OK with socks. I wish they were made in half sizes, for the perfect fit, but that is my only complaint.

These leather-bottomed slippers do not slide on my hickory floors. I was concerned but after a month find them to be secure when walking around. Be careful if you wear while cooking because a food spill on them tends to leave a mark. Warm, feet great on feet, and good ankle coverage.

Am very pleased with my new slippers; next time I will have to remember to order the wide EE width however!

This is a very high quality slipper. They are super warm and very comfortable to wear. They wear like iron. I am now on pair #3. The first pair I bought was 20 years ago !

I'm old. I have poor circulation. My feet were always cold, until I got these slippers. They are so warm that my feet stay warm even when I sit on the porch in 27 degree cold, like today. And they are so comfy, it's like walking on clouds. I even take them with me when I travel and visit overnight. I love them so much that I'm on my third pair. Each pair lasted 6 or 8 years as I'm careful not to wear them outside or get them wet.

These were bought as replacements to the slippers my husband has worn for years until they turned into "talking slippers"--fhey just wore out and started flapping haha. They are warm and comfortable. He has worn them every single day since first given to him--and I can't even remember how long ago that was. They are sturdy, that much I know and he LOVES them. High praise from him.

Good fit even with heavier cotton socks. These are indoor slippers I wouldn't wear them outside.

Over the decades, I have purchased a number of pairs of theses slippers (multiple locations - they las just fine). I am always please with the fit, the warmth, the look, and the durability.

The high-top design keeps the entire foot and ankle warm much better then typical low-cut slippers. High quality materials and well made to last a long time.

warm & comfy

These slippers just keep on wearing. The last pair lasted ~ 10 years--seriously! The slippers are cozy inside, and feet are warm. What a great buy!

My brother gets a pair of these from me every year for Christmas. He thoroughly enjoys them. He wears out a pair every year as they are worn daily throughout the winter.

Perfect fit, super comfortable. My husband loves them. This is his second pair. He doesn't take them off. i have to remind him when he's going to the store that he has his slippers on ....

I buy these slippers every year, because I live in them most cold days in Colorado. They are very comfortable and keep my feet toasty warm.

I've a couple pairs of these over the years. I like the higher tops on those coldest days of the year. Just wish they made these with an outdoor sole like my other LL Bean slippers.

I buy these slippers for my husband each time the old ones wear out. He had these when I met him in Vermont in 1993. Really keep your feet comfortable and WARM!! (PS: they don't wear out for a long time)

I've reviewed these before but since I've bought some more I believe I can review them again. These are the greatest and best slippers you can buy. As far as I'm concerned anyway. I've tried others but always come back to these. I wear them so much that I had to buy a pair of each color this time. Highly recommend.

These slippers are awesome. Have had a pair of these for many years.

They fit well and are very comfortable

My husband lives in these whenever in the house...AND, for quick dashes out for the morning paper, or trash chores, or spontaneous neighbor-to-neighbor chats. He wears them inside year round (in Eastern Virginia, in the summer, we live in steadily air-conditioned homes, so you need to keep those toes toasty). He especially likes the soft sole. Needless to say, my husband puts his slippers through a lot of wear and tear. They stand up better then any other slipper he has ever tried. I order his spare/backup pair during the post holidays sale every year. These are FIVE STARS, no doubt.

Neuropathy and pain in the feet is common for diabetics. Keeping the feet and toes warm eliminated the pain for me. Night pain is common and so I have worn them in bed. My wife likes the soft feel of the leather as do I. I urge Bean's to advertise these slippers for diabetics because they are so protective. The wool fibers are uneven so the slippers feel funny until the slippers have been worn for a while. I will not wear them outside. Around the house and in bed they are better than any medication for pain in the feet.

I'm still wearing my pair of these slippers I purchased from L. L. Bean 5 years ago, in 2014! I wear them inside, outside. Yes I wear mine outside all the time. I'll wear them around just as though they're a pair of shoes. It would be nice if they had rubber soles on them for that. I say that because I'm sure some people probably think there's some goofball that forgot to put on shoes. A lot of days I don't even put a pair of shoes on and I have a lot of shoes. Some still like new because I'm always wearing these Wicked Good Slippers. I had a pair before this pair I'm wearing that I'm not sure how old they were when I finally bought before my second pair. Now I just ordered another pair just because of the 20% off, free shipping and Ive always had the light tan. Thought I'd get a pair of the dark brown. The ones I've been wearing since 2014 have stretched out some after this long, wearing them all day, sometimes getting them wet but they haven't worn out a bit. No holes, no loose stitching. They're definitely looking like a pair of worn slippers, getting some dirty looking. They just look like they've been worn and they have. I wouldn't wear anything else and I highly recommend them.

I had my first pair for 15 years of daily use. When they started to show some wear, I was so pleased to see the same slippers are still available. So often, great products disappear over the years, but the new slippers are just like the old slippers. Thank you, L.L. Bean!
