I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I sent back back the first pair due to a material defect. Construction on the replacement pair wasn't right either (the right shoe in both cases). Now I need to drive 1 hour to a LL Bean store to see if I can find adequate pair.

The faux lining in this slipper is very low quality. Not soft, not warm and a dirty yellow color. Never thought Bean would put out such a bad product! Now I have to pay $6.50 to return them!

I am going to return these. The left one is perfectly fine, but the right one, although it looks fine, is sewn in a way that twists the slipper and lands the foot a little off the sole.

Since these slippers don't come in half sizes, I ordered a half size up. Despite that, the soles and footbed were very, very narrow. In addition, the sides were flimsy, so every step I took I felt as if I was falling off a narrow board. They were very uncomfortable, although the lining was soft and warm. There was no way I could wear them walking around.

My husband's first disappointment was that they were made in China. Secondly, the inside soles were not attached on the in-step side of both slippers and his feet were rubbing on the stitching from the outside of the slipper. Very uncomfortable and will be returned.

My husband received these slippers as a gift for Christmas. They are very comfortable but they smell like a dead animal. He can't wear them because they smell so bad. He received them as a gift so I'm not sure we can return them. Too bad, they are very comfortable.

i've had several pairs of these over the years, and they're usually fantastic. this pair was extremely smelly. they give off an incredibly foul odor. customer service was nice enough to replace them for me...hope they've fixed the odor problem!

These slippers, though warm and attractive, offer no side support for the foot and the foot slides off the outside edge of the sole making walking a challenging and unpleasant affair. Never have had this problem with slippers before. Try again and make wicked sure you improve the design.

Very disappointed in this version of the same product we had years ago..they were for our sons, neither could wear them, both felt like they were made for the same foot, not nearly as well made as previous model yrs. ago...would not recommend, intend to return..but now don't know what to get as the quality seems to have changed in slippers.

Just got these for Christmas. Put the left one on and the seam ripped out near the front ankle. Put the right one on and the leather down the back ripped out. They are half size bigger than my feet so this is not a case of them being to small. Simply a case of the material being to weak to hold up to the minimal strain a shoe goes through when you pull it onto your foot. All this being said....they are extremely comfortable and warm. I took them off just now to examine the rips again. A big chunk of the fir material from inside the shoe came out with my foot. I am sad. I love the way they look and feel on my feet, but dont expect them to last much more than a week or two at this rate. I will be sending them back on sunday. Maybe i can find something that has been constructed out of quality material.

I have the women's slippers like these and have had them for about 2 years -- GREAT product. I got my husband some in late June 2010 and today I just had to throw them in the trash. Within about 3 months the sheerling lining in the bottom had completely worn off. To remedy this I bought new insoles to give to my husband for Christmas, but it became a moot point when yesterday one slipper caught on something and a hole was ripped in it quite easily. I am sorry that the quality of these has gone downhill within the last 2 years. For the price I can no longer recommend these slippers and I won't be buying anymore of them. :-(

I wear size 13 Narrow shoes. Ordered 13 reg and the sole was so narrow my foot kept slipping off the side. A very flimsy and cheaply made product.

Ordered these as a Christmas gift for my elderly father - they didn't fit at all, seemed to be defective and his foot slipped all around in them. Will have to return them - was very disappointed, I expected a quality product from L.L. Bean...

These slippers were not the usual good LLBean quality. Very flimsy and poor construction. My husband was very disappointed as he has been wanting slippers that would cover his ankles. Needless to say, they were returned.

I was looking forward to receiving this pair of slippers since my wife has exactly the same type for herself, also ftom LLBean. I received these and wore them around the house to test the fit and just enjoy warming my feet. I was sittlng at my desk when I noticed an unpleasant odor that I could not locate right away; I noticed it from time to time, something like spoiled food or something sour, but still did not know where it was coming from. When I retired for the evening, I found the odor was coming from the lining of the slippers; something that reminded me of a skunk smell; and no, it wasn't dirty socks or smelly feet, the odor was from the lining itself that increased when the feet warmed up the lining. Whether this was a byproduct of processing the wool lining or some other chemical contaminant, I don't know. It was a very unpleasent smell and enough to discourage me from keeping them or even re-ordering another pair. I returned them within 3 business days of receipt and asked for a refund.

This is my second pair of Wicked Good slippers. I purchased the first pair about 8 years ago and also bought a pair for my wife. Mine eventually wore out but admittedly, I treated them rough wearing them in and outdoors and washing and drying them several times. Their durability and comfort inspired me to buy a new pair. The slippers arrived and immediately out of the box, I noticed a strong odor. The next morning, my wife approached me and stated she thought something died under the house or in the walls. Turns out, it was my slippers that smelled like dead animals or a skunk. It's been 3 weeks and they still stink. Not like hold them to your nose and you can smell them stink but a room filling odor. I was hoping the odor would go away but it looks like I will have to return these and search for something else.

I bought two pair of the Wicked Good slippers - one for my husband and one for myself. One week later, while pulling on the right slipper, half of the heel piece ripped away from the seam. Actually, to be accurate it was the LEATHER that gave way, not the stitches, which means that the shearling was split much too thin to be used in footwear. Not the sort of shoddy workmanship/quality control I'd expect from L.L. Bean. I'll be calling for either a refund or replacement with a sturdier product.

I purchased these slippers for use in FLORIDA. they were Never worn outside, In less than 8 months the seam were the sole was stitched to the upper tore through the very thin strip of leather. Mind you that this was in FLORIDA. They were probably worn less than 1 month total since this warm slippers are seldom called for. Although this may have been a singular product problem it was dissappointing since they were from LL BEAN. I will ask for a refund or compensation

The sizing is off. It is larger than what I normally get as size 8 in other brands.

I bought these for my husband who finally wore out his LLbean mocs after 8 years. This time he wanted something to cover his ankles. However, when he tried them on there was no support and he was walking on the sides. The size ran large. He did not like that he could not wear them outside. So, I sent these back and reordered what he had originally. He is finally happy.

The right one is fine. The left one lets my foot slip off the inside of the slipper thus I am walking on the side if the slipper. The soft inside lining is pulling away and showing the hard under parts.

I had high expectations buying from LLBEAN and paying enough money. I was disappointed after about a day of wearing them. I bought normal width because I don't have wide feet, but I found that the sole is narrow and does not provide stable support. It tends to rock from side to side unless you concentrate on stiffening your ankles. It is possible that I would have been happier buying wider ones, but then they would have felt large on my feet. I dont recommend these.
