Sizes are at least one half size too small. Ex: size 10 should order size 11.

After almost two years, the seams are coming apart. Since I only wear them for a few months in the winter, this is disappointing.

This is the third pair of these slippers I have purchased. Quality does not seem the same. The sole of the slippers don't seem centered and I find it difficult walking in them. Perhaps this will disappear over time. There were also labels in the slippers that I had to rip out because they were uncomfortable.

It pains me to write a negative review of anything from LL Bean, their stuff is alway high quality at a premium price. I've had Bean slippers in the past and they were NOT anything like these. I don't know who's feet would fit into these things, they are so narrow! My Wife ordered size 10 for my normal feet and I couldn't get one foot in, are these designed for Ballerinas? This looks to me like classic cost reduction; "If we make the slippers 2" narrower we'll save 10 Hundred Gabillion Dollars over the next 50 years!!" I don't think anyone says "after a long day at work, I just wanna Jam my feet into a nice tight pair of slippers" The picture shows my current slippers above the New Bean "Wicked String Bean" version I know you guys can do better

I found the shoe to small and narrow. I am comparing it to Cables with the same size.

Reserving judgement. Fit tight tending to squeeze my foot. Hoping they eventually loosen as noted in the LL Bean verbiage

The slipper was way too small and the instep was far too low. My husband chose these slippers as a Christmas present, but they just did not fit or feel right. The lop of the shoe sloped too low and he could not get his foot in. They are exactly the style he wanted but they just won't fit even with larger size and there were no larger widths.

Great materials and construction just remarkably narrow. We're talking insanely narrow. They don't fit like any shoes of a similar size. They do stretch out over time, but not enough to be all that comfortable.

My husband was thrilled to get these slippers, but soon found that the bottoms of his feet tended to end up on the sides of the slippers, instead of on the soles, as he walked.

The slippers were pretty flimsy made and not worth the price.

I wanted to love them. I really did. The quality is not up to LL Bean expected standard. 1. The seam came apart at the back of the slipper. It started right at the pull tab after a couple of days and went down one side of the back strip. When I looked at the leather portion of the slipper the heel section and tab just barely caught the side piece and the thread pulled through the side piece - not enough overlap before sewing. 2. The slipper has a weird bottom. It is smaller than the body of the slipper causing your foot to slide of to the side. The bottom is not stable at all. 3. Overall the stitching is rough and not well done and I worry it's just a matter of time before they are reduced to leather scraps. I have been riveting them back together as they fall apart but in general they weren't "Wicked Good" they were disappointing for something from LL Bean.

The right slipper was perfect. The left was not. After wearing the slippers for two weeks the lining of the left slipper had not packed down. I had to turn the left slipper inside out to be able to trim the too thick material so that what remained matched the right slipper in thickness.

These are inferior to three previous pairs I've purchased. They're made in Myanmar which could be a problem; thinner inner wool and outside leather. The fit is loose. I have a three year old pair that is still in better shape than the new ones. Same high price with lower quality. Ridiculous.

The manufacturers plastic tag is on the inside of this - it is just where your arch falls. A ridiculous and uncomfortable spot to place this. I am surprised I do not see other reviews mentioning this. My old pair did not have this problem. Returning these.

I purchased these for my husband for Christmas. Now, a month later, the seams on both slippers are busted. He loves these slippers, but I expected higher quality construction for the price. We will be returning them.

These slippers are perfect, they feel good, and the fit is good......BUT....they wear out quickly, and they tend to stretch out so what was initially a good fit became too large.

The house shoes I received were damaged. The stitching was torn on the heel of one of the shoes. I have returned them, but haven't heard back or received my replacements.

I was really looking forward dot receiving -- but totally disappointed. I usually wear a 10.5/11 and should have bought a 10 -- they are very loose and, according to the insert in the box, they should fit snugly because the sheepskin stretches. It would have helped to include this info in the product description. Feels like I'm wearing shearling lined bags on my feet.

Have had a pair of LL Bean slippers for at least 30 years. They use to simply be the best. My previous pair lasted about 8 years. Decided to replace them earlier this year. The new pair lasted about 6 months before the stitching failed and they started to fall apart. LL Bean has great customer service, and made it easy to send back the damaged pair and sent me a new pair. I have no faith that the new pair will last either. The shearling lining is popping out thru the stitching, the toe looks like a child sewed it together and is loose all around. Plus, it is just a flimsier leather and product then it once was. Perhaps I'm getting old, but they simply don't make them like they use to.

I have been buying these slippers for over 20 years. This current pair and the one before it had the stitching come apart in less than one year. I wore them inside the house only. I have seen several reviews in the past having the same issue. This is quite disappointing as they have always been a comfortable and warm slipper. You have lost a loyal customer.
