Dad had these for years, bought new ones same size and just doesn't stretch to foot at all. Really uncomfortable. Can these be stretched by a cobbler?

Came back for a 3rd pair. VERY disappointed that W is discontinued. Would only recommend to those who don't have wide feet. Why no more Wide?

4th and last pair. Quality has deteriorated so much over the past decade. Not worth the cash anymore.

I've owned many pairs of LLBean Wicked Good Slippers and changes in quality from past years is quite noticeable. The slippers have become skinny while the lambs wool has become less plush. In the past, these slippers were manufactured with thick rich lambs wool, and now, not so much. On top of the change in material, the slippers are much thinner and tight. I returned these because of the size changes.

On right foot most of the sheepskin padding was bunched up on one side of the slipper. The other side had nothing. This was a present from my daughter. I still had an old pair that was good so I didn't try the new ones on. When I finally did the guarantee period had ended so I was stuck with them. This is the second pair of the same type slipper that lacks quality control. Another pair had not been sewed up on the back (heel) seam. What has happened to LLBean quality control?

These slippers are comfortable -- when you're sitting down. The soles are much too narrow and unstable. You could turn your ankle in them, in fact I did. Also, they are not particularly durable.

Opening on left slipper is sewn smaller than right, a problem others have mentioned. They need better quality control. They're comfortable once I'm able to squeeze past the opening, but I shouldn't need a shoe-horn and lots of swearing to put on a pair of slippers. Gonna try stretching out the opening even more, but I wouldn't buy again as quality seems to be less important than the quantity they want to produce.

Same experience as other reviews I've seen - the opening to slip your foot in is way too small. I've owned a previous pair for years and was looking forward to the new pair. I don't think any amount of breaking in will change this. Can't recommend this style

I got these in the green color to replace a very old pair of the same in tan. They seemed good quality, thick and fluffy. But there must have been some design or manufacturing error, because the foot opening was far too small. I could barely get my hand in, much less my foot, and certainly not past the instep. I returned them, and will be trying another color instead.

This would be a five star review except for one pretty large problem. I love soft sole moccasin slippers, and these are warm, extremely comfortable, and highly durable. Pretty good looking, too. The problem is that the padded part of the outsole is far narrower than the sole overall. The padding would be a great feature if it covered the whole bottom of the slipper, but as it is, your foot rolls off to one side or the other with each step. They're almost unwearable with socks on, because the rolling action causes my socks to twist and bunch. I imagine there is added stress on the side stitching as well.

The lacing that attaches the tops to the soles needs to be stronger, like rawhide.

Slipper is very narrow. I tried larger sizes but still too narrow for what I think are most mens feet.

TOO TIGHT, PINCHED-TOES, TOO SHORT. THESE WERE ON SALE AND PERHAPS I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A FULL-PRICE VERSION. I RETURNED THEM, AND WILL PROBABLY GO BACK TO ACORN.

I bought these slippers and absolutely loved them. 9 wide. I finally wore them out. I ordered these and found that a wide slipper was no longer available. I got the 9's and couldn't get my heel in. Sent them back and got 10's. Still tight and the quality didn't seem to be as good as my old pair. And the tag on the inside is a real nuisance. Not as wicked good as they used to be.

Don't know if this will be helpful because I returned the slippers. They were just too narrow. I know that they are supposed to stretch and form to your feet, but even the footbed was too narrow to walk on. Love Bean products, but I guess I'll look elsewhere for my slippers.

Great slippers until worn. Lacing on the sole is not indoor suitable. Have paid for resold-ing once, lacing is a flaw.
Can LL Bean suggest a better cord material to re-sew the soles on? Replacing the original lasted less than one winter.

The most uncomfortable slippers I have ever worn. Could feel the seams where the sole was sewn on. No cushion. Very disappointed

I have worn this particular model for years snd have loved them, until the last two years. Year before last they just fell apart. This past year the left shoe was narrower than the right, and once again, the seams just came unsewn. On top of that, the shearling lumped up and just came loose in chunks. And the smell was awful. I had to toss them after a few months both years. I am very easy on my footwear and clothes, so the issue is not me treating them poorly. I am 68 and have been a customer since I was a child. So very disappointed with the drop in quality.

Been buying these for years in the size 10 Wide (EE). The wide option is now discontinued. This is a shame. The Medium width in same or larger size just doesn't fit right. Very disappointed that my favorite slipper is gone.

I love the kelp green slippers except for the left foot fit. It fits but it rolls over to the left. My foot does not sit properly as does the right slipper. Someone else had mentioned this in their review.

I've had a pair of wicked good slippers for over 10 years. The thin stitching that attaches the upper leather to the heavier leather that attaches to the sole is finally breaking and coming apart. The old slippers were a size 7M and fit very well. I thought I would be safe ordering the same size. That was a mistake. The new slippers are definitely not sized the same. Holding the new and old soles together the new slippers are shorter and narrower. I tried wearing them for several hours and my heal felt like it was on welting at the back of the slippers. I'm hoping a size 8 M will fit.

I've worn these slippers for many, many years and they are my favorite slippers. My current pair is starting to show signs of wear so I ordered a new pair to have ready when these bite the dust. The slippers are always a little snug at the beginning but I couldn't even fit my foot into this new pair. OH NO!! They just would not fit. I bought these online and returned them to my local store the day they were delivered. The return was easy and staff said they would report my problems. If my local store has them in stock I will give them another try for fit but won't be ordering again until that happens. So sad!!

I've had many pairs of these slippers over the years, and ordered these in a new color to replace the ones I can't repair the cord stitching on anymore. Same size as always, but for the first time, I struggle to get my foot through the opening. Once it's on, fits fine, so I thought they would stretch. It's been a month or so, and it still takes both hands to get my foot (both sides, so they are consistent) into the slipper. With my recent experience in trying to return something to LLBean after it has been worn, I'm not going to bother with attempting to get a credit, I'll just go to a competitor for my purchases in the future. Higher prices, but quality and customer service is substantially better.

The slipper is warm and they are good looking but the fit is poor. I usually wear a 10.5 so ordered 11 as suggested. The slipper is not tight loose but my foot still feels like it is slipping around uncomfortably. Further, the colorfastness of the swade is terrible. After getting a few drops of water on the slipper I tried to wipe them dry only to have the color come off on the towel. I will not use these after showering for fear if the bottom gets wet they will stain the carpeting.
