Ordered size 10, too small. Held up to the size 10s I purchased a few years ago, sole is at least an inch shorter.

Nice slippers. Unfortunately, seems to be no choices on width. The Medium D is way too narrow for my size 11 feet. Just checked the item on web again , Wide EE , apparently not an option.

Ooo, I wanted these Loden slippers so bad. I ordered them in early October. Back ordered. Got them today. Bummer. Too tight overall. Too short in the toe box. The product sticker is sewn into the arch seam of the slipper and hurts. And, worst of all, the loop on the back of the slipper is not sturdy enough to yank on the slippers!! I've been slepping around in my husband's rejected slippers from one of your competitors and I really wanted a wicked good slipper. I'm waiting for Wide Width Wicked Good Slippers.

I've owned 3 pairs of these slippers over the past 25 years and I just bought one this month and it's not the same as my old pairs. The new version doesn't come in multiple widths and I can't find a size that fits me well anymore. Very disappointed.

There is no stability in the sole and thickness of the lambswool on the soul does not help. I have many L.L. Bean products and this is the first I am unhappy with.

Slippers are very warm. The fit was tight, especially the left slipper. I noticied the stitching was off creating a narrow fit. I will be returning this slipper.

For $90 bucks you would probably expect more. If you're going to wear this for sleeping to keep your feet warm, it may be worth it. That is my purpose. My only complaint for that is that it makes my socks wrinkle, but that's whine without cheese. These do a GREAT job with warmth. Out of the box, they definitely smelled gamey, probably owing to their animal origins. That odor dissipated a few days after removing them from the packaging. The foot bed is definitely narrow, and I'm pretty narrow already. I feel like I'm going to roll over to the left or right because of the narrow bed. These are narrow in the upper as well, but with a natural product it is OK as they are stretching. The same goes for length. If I was a true size 12 I would upsize. If you are going commando in these the size might be OK. So, these are good for me but I have to echo the other owners' complaints as I did above. It's certainly not an awful product, but I think it could use improvement in the foot bed if nothing else. I wanted something with no outsole since I am sleeping in these so I purposely chose this all natural and very warm solution. I wish you all the best in your hunt.

Unfortunately the combination of inferior design and lack of their old warranty make this a bad buy. The seams on these are not protected and wear out quickly. Overland has a better designed version (they added an additional piece of leather over the seam) of these that allows them to last much longer. At the end of the day you get what you pay for in terms of quality and customer service.

I have a pair of these same slippers from some years ago, Men's size 7 Wide (because LLBean womens' shoes are always too narrow for me). The wide width is no longer available, so I tried the Men's 7 Medium. This new pair is shorter than my old size 7 and much narrower (held them up to my old ones to check this). I can barely get them on.
The quality seems the same but sizing has changed a lot.

We have been buying the wicked good men and women's slippers for years. But for some reason this past year 2019 the stitching had come undone after one winters wear, we've never had this problem in the past 10 years in ordering the slippers we've all loved them but not sure if there being made much cheaply??

I have shin splints at nite bc my heels migrate to one side of the insole and my ankles are twisted all day working from home. Be wary It is a problem with buying online. No opportunity to try on for comfort or fit. Love these from the '90's but the upgrade, same size etc is painful as of this last Christmas 2019 seems the insole at heel is much narrower.

I love this slipper, I've bought at least five of them in my lifetime, but buyer beware - they don't last long. My current pair, bought in 2018 are already shot. I wear them for three or four months in the winter, just around the house, the stitching holding the sole to the upper just doesn't last.
I will continue to buy them, but I also know that I won't get more than seven or eight months of wear out of them before they come apart.

Had a pair for well over a decade. Finally fell apart. Kept my feet happy during damp PNW winters.
Replaced old pair this Christmas.
First pair were defective, sole had real cushion which was great but had been cut unevenly so my ankle started rolling within the first week.
LL Bean replaced that defective pair. Customer service was fantastic as usual btw.
The replacement pair? The shearling seems thin compared to my old pair and has already become quite flat. Old pair had enough shearling at the sole so that they supported my high arch.
The sole also has thinner foam cushion than the first pair sent which I find odd. I've had them less than a month. They aren't keeping my feet very warm especially at the toes. I'd like if they'd keep my feet warm even with cotton socks on, but so far only wool socks with the shearling work. That was not the case with my old pair. I got them on sale so 20% off which is making the quality more bearable, but only just.
Still on the fence as to whether they will be returned. I'd rather pay more for something that will last for many seasons than less for poor quality.

The slipper isn't high enough. I have to wear socks with the slipper in order for it to cover my leg high enough on the bottom clothing I'm wearing. It was also too wide especially in the heel but the sock keeps the heel from sliding.

I have worn these slippers for years. For whatever reason the right slipper fits great however the left one has an issue. I walk halfway up the left side of this slipper and cannot make it not do that. I have tried to correct the issue but without success. I have always been happy with them in the past and usually wear them until I wear the leather cording that holds the sole to the upper completely out. I hate to think this may have to be my last pair.

These are great shoes if you have perfect foot alignment.
If your heels pronate, then you end up walking on the side of the shoe making it hard to keep the show on. I am going to order some heel supporters to see if this will help the problem. The problem is the foot---not the show!

First I love LL BEAN Slippers and these fit like they should, and keep my feet toasty warm, BUT.... The inner heel area lost all of the "fur" within a month (ordered 11/112018). I was told that they don't have these in the store, I live close to the main store, and I wrote customer service to be told they will evaluate, but only after I pay shipping back. The weird part is I'm one of those guys that hardly walk on my heels in the house. Except for the now cold inner heel area these slippers are well worth the $$, BUT I hate to send them in to find they are not covered under the guarantee, which is inconvenient for the price.

I continue to buy this product because it's as close as I can get to what I want. I really need a wider slipper but do not readily find them, so these have filled a need.
PROS: Looks nice and fits fairly well.
CONS: I would prefer that the spiral stitching that joins the upper to the lower (sole) be of a more robust material like leather. I tend to wear these slippers over on the edges, and the current stitching (and for many years past) is fabric and wears through quickly. Partly this is my fault for trying to fit really wide feet into only marginally wide slippers. However, once the stitching starts to fail, I replace it with flat leather lacing, and it never wears out after that. Also, I have frequently (multiple pairs of slippers) had the machine stitching (thread) around the bottom fail. This is in an area where I do not step, so this is just a fault with materials. I hand sew repairs with a durable thread and never have a subsequent problem >> poor materials used in production.
CONCLUSIONS-RECOMMENDATIONS: I conditionally recommend this product. Since I keep buying these slippers, they are a mostly suitable product. However, as noted above, there are two areas of "stitching" that could stand improvement.

these slippers are great but they only last about 1 season because they are stitched together with cotton cord which wears through and breaks. I believe if the bottom was stitched on with leather cord they would certainly last much longer.
