Left shoe really walks on the side. Can I return for another pair. Very comfortable but the side is going to wear out.

The first pair I received (green) were great. I loved them so much I wanted another. I the the leather soles, the fleece liner, the thick leather shoe. They fit great and we're comfortable. And they kept my feet warm!
Next I tried chocolate brown. This pair came with fleece liner sticking out the seams on the soles. I could probably get over that. What I couldn't get over is the size differences in the foot openings. The triangle the reinforces the seam on the top of the shoes were not in the same place. This cause one shoe to fit nicely and the other was loose like it would fall off. I sent this pair back and tried the brown. These looked great but had the exact same problem - one shoe fit nicely the other was loose. Same reason. The foot openings were grossly different. I would absolutely buy another pair if I could try them on in person. I would never order again, it's a hassle not knowing what you'll get.

these slippers are good. they are not as good as those previous supplied by L L Bean. the opening where one puts on the slippers has been reduced thereby making the slipper extremely difficult to put on. they are NOT slippers! to easily slide one

The slippers were very warm and very comfortable while sitting. I love the suede outsides and shearing insides. When walking around the house, they slid around on my feet such that walking was very uncomfortable. I'm replacing a 20 yr old pair that were comfortable and easy to walk around the house. Frustrated.

i had gotten 12 W before but now the only option is medium D...they are snug but wearable. but the size 12 in much shorter than my past 12s. it is a tight fit to get your feet into slippers...are peoples feet getting shorter now too?

I love these boots, but the stitching connecting the sides to the sole came apart after 13 months. It's bad luck that it happened one month after the return period ended. The leather stitching snapped in two different spots. To be fair, I wore them a lot more in 2020 than a normal year, since I spent most of the year working from home and in comfort. Still, it's a shame that the right shoe came apart as quickly as it did. They were well loved as you can see in the picture, so I've used shoe glue to hold them together for a bit longer and I've ordered a new pair.
Despite the relatively short lifespan, they're the best house shoes I've ever owned, so I've gone ahead and bought a new pair.

This pair is nowhere near as comfortable as my previous pair I bought couple years ago. The left one is turned outward and causes my left foot to hurt within minutes of wearing. It's like I was sent two right foot slippers. Comparing it to my older pair, the left is also turned outward, so I'm giving it a chance to adjust, before returning. It's a shame if I have to pay to return due to poor workmanship.

These were almost as good as the pair of the same slippers that I was replacing. But they are narrower. I don't know why they changed these, I presume saving money for them. The up-sized 11 I got following LL Bean fit guidance is noticeably narrower, and therefore doesn't fit as well as, the years old size 10s I replaced. LL Bean isn't what they were.

I bought a pair several years ago and have kept them in use for every winter by resewing the tops to the bottoms as the lacing wears out. This year I asked for them as a Christmas present. I was so disappointed to find that the construction of them has changed. The opening has been made smaller by close to an inch. I measured them against the old slipper and sure enough the opening is a lot narrower. I have high arches and cannot fit my foot into this new slipper. I could fold the heel down and walk in the slipper that way, but for the price I should be able to wear the slipper correctly. Also, I have a wide foot so need wider widths. The slippers I ordered are a size too big to compensate.

3rd pair of this model. Compared to the first 2 this one is terrible. Tags are located where they rub against the foot and annoy. The sole on the right shoe is constructed to that my heel slips off the sole (heel moves to the left). The slipper is 1/2 size larger than my size and is still on the small size. Very disappointing.

Very unhappy that these are no longer availabe in wide width. I have been buying these for years for my husband. I ordered them for him again this year for Christmas not realizing that I didn't get the wide (because it wasn't an option), he opened them on Christmas day and let me know they weren't wide enough. So I went to order another pair in wide only to be told they no longer make them in the wide. So very disappointed in LL Bean, they have not been the same since Leon died in 2015.

Ordered size 10, too small. Held up to the size 10s I purchased a few years ago, sole is at least an inch shorter.

Nice slippers. Unfortunately, seems to be no choices on width. The Medium D is way too narrow for my size 11 feet. Just checked the item on web again , Wide EE , apparently not an option.

Ooo, I wanted these Loden slippers so bad. I ordered them in early October. Back ordered. Got them today. Bummer. Too tight overall. Too short in the toe box. The product sticker is sewn into the arch seam of the slipper and hurts. And, worst of all, the loop on the back of the slipper is not sturdy enough to yank on the slippers!! I've been slepping around in my husband's rejected slippers from one of your competitors and I really wanted a wicked good slipper. I'm waiting for Wide Width Wicked Good Slippers.

I've owned 3 pairs of these slippers over the past 25 years and I just bought one this month and it's not the same as my old pairs. The new version doesn't come in multiple widths and I can't find a size that fits me well anymore. Very disappointed.

There is no stability in the sole and thickness of the lambswool on the soul does not help. I have many L.L. Bean products and this is the first I am unhappy with.

Slippers are very warm. The fit was tight, especially the left slipper. I noticied the stitching was off creating a narrow fit. I will be returning this slipper.

For $90 bucks you would probably expect more. If you're going to wear this for sleeping to keep your feet warm, it may be worth it. That is my purpose. My only complaint for that is that it makes my socks wrinkle, but that's whine without cheese. These do a GREAT job with warmth. Out of the box, they definitely smelled gamey, probably owing to their animal origins. That odor dissipated a few days after removing them from the packaging. The foot bed is definitely narrow, and I'm pretty narrow already. I feel like I'm going to roll over to the left or right because of the narrow bed. These are narrow in the upper as well, but with a natural product it is OK as they are stretching. The same goes for length. If I was a true size 12 I would upsize. If you are going commando in these the size might be OK. So, these are good for me but I have to echo the other owners' complaints as I did above. It's certainly not an awful product, but I think it could use improvement in the foot bed if nothing else. I wanted something with no outsole since I am sleeping in these so I purposely chose this all natural and very warm solution. I wish you all the best in your hunt.

Unfortunately the combination of inferior design and lack of their old warranty make this a bad buy. The seams on these are not protected and wear out quickly. Overland has a better designed version (they added an additional piece of leather over the seam) of these that allows them to last much longer. At the end of the day you get what you pay for in terms of quality and customer service.

I have a pair of these same slippers from some years ago, Men's size 7 Wide (because LLBean womens' shoes are always too narrow for me). The wide width is no longer available, so I tried the Men's 7 Medium. This new pair is shorter than my old size 7 and much narrower (held them up to my old ones to check this). I can barely get them on.
The quality seems the same but sizing has changed a lot.

We have been buying the wicked good men and women's slippers for years. But for some reason this past year 2019 the stitching had come undone after one winters wear, we've never had this problem in the past 10 years in ordering the slippers we've all loved them but not sure if there being made much cheaply??
