I found the slippers to be what they said they would be. Very warm and comfortable to walk around the house in. Found the foam inside the sole a little different at first but now love it. If you want a warm pair of slipper these are great.

I bought these for my husband, who seems to go through a pair of winter slippers every couple of years. Either the stitching (on the moccasin-type ones) comes undone, the backs constantly slip off, or a seam opens. (All these make him quite crabby.) He's 6'2" and the Wide was the way to go, thanks to the reviews. He likes them! I hope they last a long time for him. Time will tell.

In my profession, I'm standing in one place eight hours a day. These snuggly, warm slippers are my favorites. This is my second pair. I learned from my first pair that I needed to order a size smaller. The first pair now let me slip and slide in them. Dangerous at times, almost causing a fall. This time I ordered a size smaller and will let them stretch a little. These slippers need the addition of a padded insole to give support and added comfort. They are a little thin soled and not waterproof. Still they are the most comfortable.

I've always loved the Wicked Good Slippers - but the latest pair I had seemed to wear through sooner than I ever recall, and the shearling wore down to the leather much faster too. I'm going to try one of the other styles and see if there is any improvement there.

I thought about purchasing these slippers for a couple of years before I actually did it. Now that I have owned them for a few months, I like them overall, but am not ready to give them five stars. I recommend them for residents of cold climates. I live in Phoenix and even in winter these slippers are a little too warm. My feet sweat too much if I wear them without socks, so I don't. I do recommend that you remove the inner tags regardless. They are very comfortable and plush, yet the sole is durable enough that I can wear them outdoors, including taking evening walks through the neighborhood. I do however expect that they will not last as long under this type of usage as they would if I used them strictly indoors. I will be happy if I get 3 years out of them. For 44 bucks, I consider that a good value and would probably not hesitate to buy another pair. I wasn't really expecting the high-top, almost boot-like design, and honestly probably would have preferred a smaller tennis-shoe type style. But that is not important and does not affect my overall opinion. I have read other customers' opinions of the quality, and would have to agree that it is, again, not worthy of five stars. They soil quickly and I have already trimmed a few small string ends.

My husband LOVES these slippers. He's had them for about two years and wears them constantly at home. They're warm and comfortable. The sole is also very thick which has held up well. The only compliant I have is that the woolly inside has totally warn away in the heal.

ORIGINALLY ORDERED THESE IN A SIZE 12, SINCE THE SIZE CHART ADVISED NEXT SIZE FOR 1/2 SIZES. I NORMALLY WEAR A 11 1/2 SHOE. ITEM RETURNED DUE TO WAY OVERSIZE FIT. WALKED RIGHT OUT OF THEM. ORDERED SIZE 11 AS REPLACEMENT, AND RECEIVED SAME WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM IN SHIPPING/HANDLING. SLIPPERS STILL LARGE, BUT WORK WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A PAIR OF SOCKS. HESITANT TO EXCHANGE FOR A SIZE 10, AND BESIDES SUMMER IS COMING SO FURRY SLIPPERS WONT BE NEEDED ON THESE COLD FLOORS. THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT PRODUCTS AND SUPER SERVICE.

I bought these for my husband because his feet were always cold. He loves them. I first bought his usual shoe size but had to return them and buy a size smaller. They do run large. I may buy some for myself.

These are beautiful slippers but I must say they do run a bit on the large size. My husband wears a 9 1/2 so I ordered up as LL Bean suggested. They were too big and we had to exchange. Even so he loves the slippers. The four stars is only because of the sizing issue.

To save energy, we allow the temperature in our home to rise and fall with the outside temperature, but to a lesser degree. On really cold days I wear these slippers with thick rag wool socks and silk liners. They keep my feet really warm on even the coldest of days. And, they are practical for around the house use.

Ordered for my husband and he likes them. We found that they do run one size big. He usually wears an 11, and that's what we ordered, but had to exchange for a 10, which are fine. They are very nice slippers; soft, warm and comfortable.

I originally ordered size 12 since my size is usually 11. I thought that they were too big since the fit didn't feel like the description "snug to begin with". I re-orded size 11 and it was a completely different slipper. The stitching inside was exposed in certain areas and immediately my heel was rolling over to one side. I sent them back and kept the originals. Tad big, but my foot stays on the footbed and the construction is perfect. I really wish these slippers would have a sole that was not leather. One has to change into something else just to step outside if the weather isn't dry. Very nice and warm slipper. Hope they hold up for some time.

I received the slippers in good time but the only problem if you want to call it a problem is the size I bought it in my normal size and these seem to run abit larger, I couldn't exchange them because I had already worn them all in all I believe it to be a really nice slipper

My husband wanted a really good slipper and I went to LLBean for the best. He loves the warmth of the slipper and it is comfortable but unhappy with the bottom sole. There is no solid sole, no support. They are great for in the house, keep his feet warm but not too hot. He loves them, overall, but next time I will try another type from LLBean, looking for something with more of a sole.

These are excellent shearling slippers. However the "chocolate brown" color I received is significantly lighter than I expected. They can be darkened (and waterproofed) with a coat of mink oil.

I bought these slippers for my husband for Christmas. He likes the style that covers the ankles. He is very satisfied with them and has been wearing them almost every day

We ordered the dark brown pair in the Wicked good slippers and personally we love the darker suede better. They keep hubbies toes warm so when he hops in bed those toes aren't so frosty. Thanks for warm toes L.L.Bean. Cindi Q.

Very comfortable slippers, great quality, I'm definitely hooked. The $6 I paid for the gift wrapping service, however, wasn't worth it. I ordered two pair, one for myself and the other for a friend. The so-called "wrapped" one came in very thin cardboard with a ribbon carelessly tossed in the package, whereas my pair came in a durable corrugated-cardboard box. I ended up using the latter to wrap the other pair as a gift. Anyway, bottom line, great slippers, but I'll wrap these rascals myself in future.
