I've worn Saucony for quite awhile. Mostly Guides, since like the Guide 6. Even the less than stellar Guide ISOs. With the exception of the ISO they've been fantastic. But there's something very off or aggressive in the heal support of the 16s. After breaking in the shoes with some walking and easy runs. I shifted my 15s out of the rotation and the 16s in. I run ~25 miles per week. For some reason I've ended up with tendonitis, something I've never really worried about. My legs are just off on these. Just standing after a 5k last week the heels were noticably hard. I've never had this feeling. I may try the Tempest since I've also used Hurricanes on longer easy runs. But these have been a rough transition. The other issue which is minor compared to the one above is the lack of colors fit wide shoes is just terrible this cycle.

Like others said these have an odd flared/cupped sole combined with a hard midsole foam and a very soft and thick insole that causes instability and knee pain for me, even when walking. Guide 14 I had no issues, was much better for me and a favourite shoe. Not sure why they changed it to this, seems like its just over engineered.

Great looking but uncomfortable. Bought about a month ago have given them a chance, but still uncomfortable. Thank you.

Right shoe feels like the heel is missing support, weird experience since i have used these running shoes prior and had no issues.

The show fits nicely overall and is true fit for a 10.5. Although the inside of the heel digs into my foot causing a lot of pain when wearing for multiple days in a row or even a mile walk.

No arch support even with my orthotics. Very flat. Love the colors but this isn’t for me.

Very narrow and tight. The heel is so narrow and rubs in especially on the inside. There is no way these are "wides". I have the Guide 14 Wide and they are such a comfortable shoe. There is NO comparison between Guide 14 Wide and Guide 16 Wide. I was hoping Guide 16 Wide to be just as comfortable if not even more (if that's possible) than the Guide 14 Wide, but the 16's turned out to be so narrow and tight as I mentioned above. Returned.

After running in these for two weeks (four days each week), I began experiencing significant pain in the top of both feet. Same spot on both feet, which was incredibly strange. So I went back to my old Guide 15's and had no pain. I went to our local running store hoping to find another pair of 15's laying around, but no luck. So I had to buy a different brand this time. Good thing is I'm still running pain free! Hopefully the next version of the Guide will agree with my feet as it has been my "go to" shoe for years.

I really want to want Saucony, but I have returned the last 2 pair I received and tried them on. Maybe these work for smaller people, but I'm 6'5 280 and they just don't have the support.
