Bought for travelling and hiking, great sun hoody, light weight, soft and breathable. Medium body fit is good, only issue is the sleeves are a little long for my short arms

I basically live in sun shirts, and these are my favorite ones with a high UPF rating. They're the most lightweight, and they come in a white color, which also helps keep you cool. The body fit is great, I appreciate that its long enough that when I choose to wear on instead of a cycling shirt, there's no gap between my shirt and pants on my rear. Only critique is I find the forearms to fit more snug than I'd want them to, and I don't have particularly large forearms.

This is the second Cormac Hoody Ive purchased made of the new fabric. Love these for hiking, water, whatever when you need full sun protection. Thus far they havent snagged on anything, are not abraded by pack straps, no smell after extended wear, dry quickly, wick well, and noticeably block the suns rays. I bought XLs (6, 195, big chest/shoulders) and these fit me the best. I could wear a large but the XL shoulders and sleeves were more to my liking. Id certainly buy again.

Size fits. Very good performance. Protects from the sun. In my opinion, the only flaw in the cut is that when I raise my arms above my head, the bottom of the garment rises above the waistband of the pants, which is not good for me. I am 193 centimeters tall. and weighs 93 kilograms. For me, this blouse is wider in the chest area, and narrower in the sleeves, shoulders and underarms.

After seeing it on a YouTube video I finally thought I found the perfect lightweight long sleeve. Thumb holes, awesome hood that covers the whole neck and a lot of the face. Awesome color and fit. However they must have used the worst possible thread for stitching, as soon as I go to put it on I hear multiple threads pop. I sit there thinking how I just managed to pop 2 different sections of thread, took sealant and put it around the affected area, all good. Few days later go to put it on again, and another section of stitching decides to pop again. At $90 I shouldnt have issues like this, considering the $20 columbias dont have the same issue. This happened from a simple test fit and light wearing, i think after a weekend of hard use this thing would be toast.

My son finally received his late Christmas present and is very happy with the hoody. He does a lot of running and biking in CA and this hoody will give him some sun protection.

I have a Cormac hoody from a past season and wanted another. Love the new fabric and the redesigned thumbholes of the new offering. The new hoody is more comfortable and, ostensibly, more breathable compared to my older shirt. Im somewhat between sizes L/XL and find the XL is a better fit for me (195#, 6, XL shoulders are perfect). The sleeves feel long but are also perfect when using the thumbholes. Love these hoodys.

this men's sun shirt does not come in XS. I am 5' 6 130lb with a 36" chest. At first I worried size Small sleeves are just going to be too long. they actually turned out to be just fine, shoulders fall in the right place and overall, they fit really quite nicely

Perfect shirt/hoodie if it weren't for the thumb loops. I don't like to use thumb loops and this makes the arms too long for me. Wouldn't be an issue if the cuffs tapered, but they are too wide and just hang past my hands. Fit is perfect otherwise. If you use and like thumb loops...go for it!

Nice shirt. Arms are long on the XS size though. Cuffs are down to the end of my fingers. My ape index is +3 and I have other sun long sleeves from other brands (which I cannot name since it "directs business away" according to the moderators guidelines) with thumb hooks that fit just fine. This would be ok if there was an elastic cuff to keep the sleeve above the wrist. The only way I can wear this is if I have the sleeves rolled up unless I'm using the thumb hooks.

I have two other Cormac Sun Hoody's from Arcteryx, bought one in 2020 and 2022, both are different models and the hood/shoulder construction on the first one purchased is noticeably better, a more substantial collar and hood/slight visor, the shoulder panel as opposed to one stich on the front of the shoulder. But, both have the thumb loops as opposed to the thumb holes in the sleeves. As a tall in shape person this was the best sun shirt I had found, used these primarily for backpacking and fishing. I had always bought the XL and loved the fit, not too much fabric in the body and the arms do not stretch much at the shoulder/armpit when I am using the thumb Loops. The change to the thumb hole on this most model makes it fit worse when using the thumb holes, the sleeves stretch at the shoulder/armpit. I do not want to go to a 2XL because there is already enough body length and room in the chest/stomach, any more would feel excessively baggy and it feels like the body length and chest width on the most recent model have increased. For well proportioned tall people the design/sizing of this shirt is moving in the wrong direction, I am going to keep the new one I just bought but will be looking else where in the future. The current model does not have the slight visor on the hood, the single shoulder stich and the exterior stitching that looks like it will be prone to fraying. Deducting one start for the construction quality decreasing over the years Deducting one star for the change to thumb holes without increasing sleeve length

Very comfy. Very breathable. I love this piece so much that I ended with 5 of them, LS and SS. But the fabric is very fragile. Not durable at all. I already have small hole on them. And I didn't even wear them for big adventures.

Love the function of this hoody as a base layer in the cold, and as a workout shirt in the hot summer sun. Unfortunately the latest version I purchased this year had a frey on the shoulder out of the bag, and the bottom seam broke in one spot after one wash. My older cormac is holding up just fine. I'd still recommend the hoody overall, but I'd probably also say you could find the same function with less of a premium.

I bought the large and XL. The quality is outstanding, the length of the large is fine, however it is cut very tight across the shoulders and upper chest, so if you have broad shoulders, 180lbs etc this will look very 'fitted' on you - think cycling shirt! Conversely, the XL is just about right across the shoulders but is far to long in the body and arms. I suspect the garment is cut for a more narrower frame across the shoulders, more for a slender, Asian build, as opposed to a broader European frame. I've returned both, which is sad as I like the garment.
