These shoes lost support and cushion in less than a year.

color said midnight, which I thought looked like black, but it is very blue, and I don't like how the toe turns up on the end. makes walking very weird.

They felt flat and bulky. They also seemed wider than average. My feet were slipping side to side.

The fit was good but they didn't have enough arch support for me.

I assumed that Gel Venture 9's would be very similar to the GV 8's, so I ordered my usual size 8. Unfortunately, these are almost 1/2 size too big. Also, the gel insoles are much thicker and my feet aren't comfortable with that kind of "pliableness". The soles look thicker so the shoes have become more HOKA like, which isn't my preferred style. I was able to order Gel Venture 8's from ASICS via Target's website.

Shoes fit but were very stiff. This is a different Asics model than I usually get and made my legs sore with shin splints. I'm surprised that there was that much difference in these versus my usual style.

The wide range feels like a regular o B side. I think it’s just not worth it for people who have problems with their feet.

I was extremely disappointed to find that the Gel-Venture 9 did not fit or provide the features that the previous Gel-Venture 8 and 7 had done. I've been buying this shoe for years, starting with the Gel-Venture 7. The latest iteration does not fit the same -- it's looser and caused blisters the first time I wore them. In addition, unlike previous versions, the version 9 does not include a second extra lace hole at the top to adjust the fit. I'm so sorry that ASICS made these changes to what used to be my go-to shoe.

I have been wearing ASICS Gel Venture shoes for years, and I’ve always happily bought the latest version without any problem. However, the version 9 shoes I just bought are significantly different and do not fit the same. They do not have an extra lace hole at the top, they fit much looser, and they gave me a blister the first time I wore them. I love the old Venture Gels, but won’t buy them any more.

The toe box was too narrow.

Loved the looks of the shoe. However, reviews said the arch support was wonderful. There was no arch support in the shoes I received.

The shoe was 5/8 of inch shorter than my previous Asics shoes size 10. I wore them thinking it was just me until I finally measured them.

The size was true size but it makes my foot hurt in too. I can’t find any comfort besides wearing them without tieing. Hope I can return, as they hurt my feet.
