After two weeks of wearing the cushion seems to be gone. My feet are aching. This is unusual for Asics. Asics are my go to shoes for comfort. This style doesn't do well for standing, and walking all day.

I was trying to replace my gel venture 8, which I love ! Unfortunately I could no longer find the 8 so tried the 9 which is a big disappointment to me not nearly as comfortable and not the same support just my opinion.

I am a go to Asics buyer when it comes to sneakers. I loved the Gel Contend 6 which fit my foot well with lots of support and cushion. But because I walk 6-7 miles a day outside the Gel Contend 6 did not hold up. I decided to try the Gel-Venture 9 do to it having more tread on the bottom. In the first week of wearing them on my 6-7 mile quest I found that they were not as cushioned as the Gel Contend 6 and actually was causing my shins to hurt and my feet to ache. I have inflammatory arthritis in my right knee so this definitely did not help in that department either. I noticed if I lace and tie them loosely they are more bearable. Unfortunately, I could not not return them do to wearing them outside. I guess I have track down my old lovable Gel Contend 6, as I don't think they make that version anymore, and just replace once the tread starts to go. But I can say that if you are not intending on wearing these shoes for a consistent walking stretch such as I do then they will probably do the job as a daily shoe (i.e. running errands, short walks, etc.)

Fit great! Its challenging to find 11w womens running shoes that arent ugly. I did need to add extra arch support, but that was my fault for not knowing I needed extra support (Im new to running). But there is still plenty of space in the even with the insert.

I love this brand of shoes. They are lightweight and comfy (I got the wide size). Its easy to forget Im wearing shoes because they are so light! The colors are great. Highly recommend.

But 9's are designed narrower in the toe bed and I would return them if they hadn't already been returned and I purchased them for a discounted price (maybe for the same reason). My biggest issue with shoe manufacturers is designs are always in flux and they don't continue to offer good basics.

I returned these because they were too small. Frustrating, because I've had several pairs the same size (size 11) in the past that fit fine!

Very comfortable, nice looking shoe. The size runs a little large. I've gotten size 8.5 for other Asics styles but this 8.5 feels a little larger.

To start, the color choices for the Gel-Venture 9 are hideous. Ugly & boring. Then there's the laces. The sneaker has one less pair of holes than the previous Gel-Venture's & the laces are ridiculously long. Even after changing the laces to a shorter pair, they are still too long & unsafe. They also fit much larger. Not a fan of this version at all. This pair was no charge due to a replacement for a defective pair, or I would have returned them. (I have been buying 4-7 pairs of Asics, exclusively, per year, for over 20 years. This was the first time I ever had a pair fall apart on me. Quality is going downhill.)

Bought these in the same size i always wear but they don't fit well. Went back to wearing my old pair of Asics. Should have tried them on in a store instead of ordering them online. Disappointed.

This is my 4th pair of Asics shoes. These are really uncomfortable and hurt my feet after wearing for a couple hours. They are stiff and, I feel, have no support at all. They hurt the balls of my feet and my feet scream at me to take them off haha. Unfortunately too late to return as I have worn them a couple times.

These are the only sneakers that really feel like they fit my feet. I love the color options. Theyre true to size. I wear them almost constantly and buy a new pair once a year because I want to, not because theyve worn out

Super comfortable. Great fit - I have teeny tiny little feet so its really hard to find any grown up shoe that fits well! Highest compliment for a shoe: when Im wearing them Im not thinking about them. They last a long time. This is my 2nd pair and I wouldnt even think about buying any other brand.

Shoe does not roll or give at all. When you walk the front slaps down with every step. Uncomfotrable. Returned.

I dont know what it is, but ASICS just always seem to fit me perfectly. This pair was no exception and I love the navy blue color. I use this use primarily for walking. They are comfortable and attractive, and I have no doubt they will hold up well as all of my other ASICS purchases have.

I bought these shoes to replace other Asics which weren't designed specifically for running. My knees usually chronically ache after jogging, but this shoe has changed that. I have no knee pain. Supplements have aided as well, but I know a big part of no more knee pain is this shoe. I'm also glad I bought from Asics directly because I knew I was buying "authentic".

Love asics. I am a walker. Nice comfortable shoe. I would buy these again.

I ordered a 7.5, my normal shoe size but the shoe was way too small that i had to sell my shoes

They're true-to-size, have a wide-enough toe box, and are very comfortable. The only problem I have is that there is NOT enough padding inside the insoles. I will have to go out to the store and buy extra insoles to put inside so my feet don't hurt so much.
