I have been wearing the Gel-Venture shoes for years but this "model" seems different from others I have had. Not as comfortable, my feet actually hurt after wearing for a while, and the thin shoe strings don't stay laced and keep coming undone (why would you change from the rope style?). Past versions were perfect but this is no longer a very good athletic shoe.

Comfortable, and fits well -- walked 3 miles without discomfort!! This is the third pair I have bought!

These sneakers very cute but narrow in toe area ..unfortunately had to return.also run small..I usually take a 7.5-8 and the 8 had my toes too close to front of shoe..I have been wearing Ascics for years and this is first one I had to return

These shoes lasted me 3 years and 300 miles on the trail.

My daughter reports that the shoes has a very nice fit and good grip.

Good support & very comfortable. Great for walks on and off pavement.

Honestly just not comfortable for walking long distances. Was really nice in store to try on but 2 miles in my feet were aching horribly

I've been looking for a sneaker durable enough for the hiking trails but light enough to run distances in. The fit, style, comfort and color of the Gel-Venture 9 are spot on.

These shoes are ok. Not enough arch support. wouldnt but again.

Love , love this shoe !!! So comfortable and the best part my feet dont hurt after a 8-10 hour day . Im so glad my girlfriend recommended these shoes .

Super comfortable and worth the price. I wore them on a small hike in Canada and through all day of walking. At the end of the day, my feet didnt hurt at all. Didnt need to break them in at all either. For sizing, I sized up a half size from my normal size in NBs.

I have been wearing ASICS for years, and these are my favorites pair, buy far! I love the color(s) so much, and they are so comfortable. I walk for up to 8 miles a day and these do not disappoint.

These shoes are cheaply made. The tongue barely covers the front of the show when laced up taught. No support at all.

I had a previous version of these shoes and they were perfect for me. Thought they had been discontinued but found them on the web site! Purchased them on sale. The fit is the same. Supportive and very comfortable

I've compared other popular brands and these are my favorite: durable, light and by far the most comfortable

I wear 11.5 in all shoes, including Asics. 11.5 were too small. 12 was better, but still hurts my feet. What is the problem?

I previously owned the gel venture 7s and they worked great for me! I have flat feet and Im on them all day, and the gel venture 7s had the perfect amount of cushion and comfort. One pair lasted me 8 months before I had to buy a new pair. I bought the gel venture 9s since they were just the newer versions of the ones I had, right? Wrong, these make my feet hurt in such a different way than Ive experienced before. I thought maybe they just needed broke in but after 3 months of having them, both pairs I purchased make my feet hurt. Now Im in the market for a new pair of shoes again.
