The heel of the shoe extends beyond that of my foot, making for a flat-footed step that is not comfortable. Also, I would prefer a shoe that laces up tighter.

too tight in the toe box for ppl with longer 2nd and 3rd toes.

Cheap build quality, cheap material quality, Far shorter than other size 11 shoes I've worn, VERY narrow for 4E width.

These barely reached 50 miles of walking before the heel liner started shredding on one side…then after 75 miles the other side started going as well

The size and comfort of the shoe is excellent. I think that the tongue could be a bit wider. The downside of the shoe is that after six months of normal non-athletic wear, the bottom has separated from the shoe.

Constantly hurt

I have been wearing the Gel-Ventures for many years. Tried new model on several walks, hoping they would break in. Hard and stiff sole. Feet and back sore after each walk. The Venture 9 has no cushion compared to the 8. returning the extra pairs I purchased. Very disappointed as I need a 12.5 and these had been my staple.

I admit I am difficult to fit - wide feet and a high arch, but these shoes weren't what I had hoped. First off, these 4E width shoes did not feel roomy enough in the toe box. I could see there'd be trouble down the road with wear on the outside of the shoe from my toes protruding out over the sole. But the biggest problem was the lack of arch support. There was a noticeable gap between my arch and the insole of the shoe. These shoes would have caused me plantar fasciitis for sure, which is very unpleasant. That's a hard pass from me.

Ordered 4E and they were absolutely not what was advertised. Only says "Extra Wide" on the shoe and box and was much narrower than other 4E shoes

too small and narrow

My last 3 pairs of shoes have been asic gel venture 9 and this last pair ordered is most definitely a smaller and narrower shoe. I'm not sure if they were mislabeled somehow??? This has happened years ago with the gel venture 8 model. After ordering the same model shoe 3 or 4 times and everything is exactly the same....the next pair ordered is a narrower fit and gets returned. When you wear 4e wide shoes there just isn't much to choose from overall, and your forced to choose from an even smaller selection of "what is in stock". so here is a dumb sad/true joke YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT GUYS WITH REALLY WIDE FEET? They have very small shoe selection

They sent me a pair of used shoes. Dirts under the shoes and apparent wearing inside. Unacceptable!

Shoe fit and feel good but do not last. Purchased 6 months ago and already tearing in the same place near the pinky toe on both shoes.
