Comfortable. All shoes I've gotten online have fit well. Like the design and tread on the soles.

The sole is quite stiff which causes my feet to slap when I walk. The Gel-Venture 8 is more flexible.

Although the shipment didnt take very long, I received the wrong size and due to the return policy I was unable to return them.
But I must say they are nicely styled in shoes.

These are the last Asics I will purchase. I've worn this model through 8 versions. I am disappointed with Asics for making a cheaper lesser quality shoe. There is no heel lock loop and the heel slides all around.
The padding on the tounge has already started to crease with one day of wearing.
This has never happened in dozens of this model I've worn for over a decade.

Great shoes. ASICS have always been my go to shoes. Started with the Epirus in the mid 80s. (Would love to see those back again). Ive owned several generations of the Venture. I use one pair as an everyday shoe and another pair for running. I like the tread and breathability. Very good cushioning.

My son wore these for 2 months and the material on the back of the shoe wore off and plastic is now showing. ASICS refuses to stand by their product and warranty the shoe for him. I will never buy another pair of ASICS again. He has worn this model of shoe for 10 years but the quality has significantly gone down.

GEL-VENTURE 9 extra wide shoes were acceptable, but not as good as previous GEL-VENTURE versions. The changes were not improvements. I purchased one pair, and I am done.

I wore it on a 3 mile hike that included a rocks and significant elevation changes. Was comfortable and supportive without feeling bulky or heavy.

The shoes were the only thing on hubby's Christmas wish list and his third pair three months only because the first two pair coordinated with his 2 different teams fan gear, and he wanted a solid black pair for his volunteer work. He states nearly every day "have I told you these are the most comfortable pair of shoes?"

Ive bought the Gel venture before and was already familiar and happy with the quality and the comfort it offers. Bought this one because I loved the design pattern and the colors.

Not comfortable at all. I have a very sensitive foot due to a 3rd degree burn years ago. I need an extra wide shoe. They are hard to find. This shoe felt like I had a 2x4 strapped to the bottom of my foot. I wore them for a couple days to try to get used to them. Couldnt and it was too late to send back.
