Excellent workout shoe with plenty of support. Good value for the money.

I purchased these shoes about 3 years ago for refereeing soccer and they have held up beautifully. The shoes have been very comfortable even running several miles an evening in them. I also like the tread as it works very well on grass giving me good grip during the matches. I saw these were still available on the ASICS site and thought I had better get another pair to hopefully last another 3-4 years. I highly recommend these shoes for officiating soccer matches.

The color I chose on the web site appears to be a dark navy, but the shoes I received are a much lighter and brighter shade of blue. Almost like a royal blue. Louder than I expected. Don't know if it is the dye lot, or what. Thank you.

The shoe fits and feels great! It has proper support for trail running on toes. Im using these as a soccer (football) referee. They are good with grip on turf and grass, even if a little damp. It could use one higher notch to better secure the laces and more heel support for sudden stops. Overall a good shoe and a solid price

Always fit and are comfortable right out of the box.

Shoes are too tight and too small. Would not recommend these shoes. Very uncomfortable. Over padded in the heel.

I purchased these shoes as I am beginning my journey on getting more fit and introducing myself to the running world. I love the look of the shoes but I was a little disappointed in the overall size (extremely bulky) and theyre not as comfortable as I imagined. I do enjoy these shoes outside of working out, theyre great walking and/or everyday wear.

Overall good pair of shoes. There is not much arch support and the thick traction on the bottom is good for trails but a little slippery on wet pavement. Not super soft or a lot of cushion for standing long periods of time but that stiffness helps when walking.Would buy again for the price point.

Entry level trail shoe, a bit slippery on dry trail and stone road. Good on mud trail.

Ive been wearing these for a long time. Bottom part of this new model is too rigid. Its not flexible, doesnt bend naturally when you lift your hill of the ground. Its almost like a wooden bottom. This is from outside (bending); inside comfort still good. Summary: good show for when youre on elliptical with little hill movement; if youre walking or jogging you get reminded of the less flexible bottom at every step.

Zero support or cushioning, dont buy. Used to be good shoes but the quality is now low

I gave 1 rating for terrible shipping. I haven't received the shoe and it's been almost one month already.

They charged me for shipping, and took over a month to receive my refund. Tryed to cancel 5 seconds after and they denied my request to cancel or refund my order . What a scam

Arrived quickly, as described and fit well. The insole feels more firm and less cushioned than my GT-1000.

Bought these to put in rotation with other shoes. Shoes are extremely stiff. First, and only, time out I cut my run short because of how much my feet hurt. May use them for mowing or just throw them away. Highly disappointed.

Shoe is smaller than previous versions. Had to return.

I never received my order. The Tracking of fed ex was at the half way to the destination.

Asics ruined what had been a great line. The Gel Venture 9 is horrible compared to the Venture 8. The Venture 9 is so tight in the same size that I feel like it is a sizing error. I not only feel like I am ON the shoes instead of IN the shoes, but you can see in across the tongue and laces just how much less the 9 wraps your foot. The greater spread on the tongue IS noticeable. It DOES make the shoe feel loose along the ridge. Quite the contradiction to how tight (mis-sized) the shoe feels overall. Look at the overly-stuffed padding at the ankle. The venture 8 has been a great shoe. So much so that I am about to buy 2 more pairs of them just to get away from the venture 9. BTW- the materials on the 9 feel and look cheaper. Looks less like a serious runner's shoe and more like a flashy department store model

The shoe itself is good. However, the service I got was abysmal. Took over a week to ship, meanwhile I continued to get messages saying that I should continue my checkout (despite having a confirmation email), and then took over a week for shipping, most of which was spent waiting for your company to deliver the shoes to the shipping company!

Item was damaged, yet they charged me a restocking fee. WHY?

Like the concept and look of the shoe but the size is a bit shorter than expected and because of the sale I would have to pay to return it. Be sure the shoe will fit before committing to it.
