I have been wearing Asics Gel-Nimbus since I started running. This version is the worst shoe I have ever worn. Not only are they uncomfortable but they make my run unbearable. They caused pain in my foot, ankles, and legs. I would have returned them right away, but since I never had issues with the style, I didn't even keep my packaging. Now I'm stuck with expensive shoes I cannot wear. So upset. The only positive is I purchased the competitor's shoe, for the first time, to replace them and they are so much better.

I have been reading and watching reviews for the Nimbus 25 and since it is a highly rated shoe, I thought I would give it a try. I have never ran in Asics so waited for a reduced price before purchasing online. I purchased the soothing sea and silver shoe and if you like mint green, of which I do, the color is beautiful. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. The shoe looked huge upon opening the box. I wear a 7.5 and thought I was sent an 8 or 8.5 upon first look. Confirmed I had size 7.5 and even fit lengthwise when tried on, however shoe felt wide, although the shoe is regular width. Took it out for a three-mile run and because of the stretchy upper, could not get a good lock down to the point I felt my left foot rolling inward (I normally have a neutral foot strike). In addition, the shoe felt cumbersome on my feet. Since I normally run at least five miles, I have not taken it out again because I do not want to end up injured. Not sure what I am going to use the shoe for. One star for the pretty color.

Not what I expected, uncomfortable and can't return.

They are actually "too bouncy"...and I have to work a lot harder with my glutes to stabilize my body while I work all day... won't buy again

not enough room in the toe box, and getting a larger size results in a sloppy fit

I bought these shoes and they felt good in the store and running around when trying them on, but when I wore them on a longer run my feet went numb. I called customer service to see if I could exchange them for a wide since they were new and I had just worn them once, but I was instructed no exchanges or returns were possible with the company or the store where I purchased them. I'm a long-time runner and I've never had a shoe company not back up their shoes, so I won't buy this brand again.

I hope Asics goes back to the "old" way they made sneakers. There is a reason why I dislike HOKA's. I don't know why Asics would try to copy this brand. These new sneakers are too high and not comfortable at all.

Bought my usual size and the shoe is way too big. The heal drop changed without notice. This is a very different shoe, not even close to the Nimbus some of us have grown to love and count on. I hope I can find a new shoe somewhere as it doesn't seem that ASICS will support me as a runner in the future.
