Before HOKA I used to get a cortisone shot in each big toe every 3 months. I have not had a shot in over 7 year's since my first pair of Biondi 8 shoes. Like walking on clouds.

The new "Slide 3" is horrible hard and stiff. Did they not test this before selling it? I've got the previous version and it's like walking on clouds. This is a rock. I'm sending them back. Don't buy these.

I love these slides! After 40+ years of playing soccer, plus a knee surgery and a foot surgery, I have to wear shoes around the house. These Hokas are the most comfortable slides I've ever worn. And being a soccer player, I've worn A LOT of slides! They have great arch support and while they aren't super squishy like Telics or Crocs, they are super comfortable. And they did feel a little softer after wearing them for a day. I've worn Telic slides for the past several years, but they changed materials and now they squeak on my LVP floors. I felt like the little old lady from Poltergeist. I looked at several brands that I know have good support including Spenco, Vionic, Birkenstock, and Crocs. But all seemed so garish and/or weren't slides. And while these aren't the prettiest slides, they were less garish than the others. They have much better arch support as compared to Telics. The footbed is contoured like Spenco, Birks, or Vionics (though the arch isn't as high as Vionic). The soles are high but the shoe is very stable. They're just so comfortable! As for sizing, I wear Hokas for running/walking and these are similarly sized. I am generally a size 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the shoe, but I always wear 8 1/2 in Hoka running shoes (mostly because I like a little more room in the toe box). I'm a 39 in Birkenstocks. I went with the size 8 (vs. 9) in the Oras and they fit perfect! The 9's would have been too big.

I've been wearing the gaviator in a regular size 9 women's shoe and LOVE them. I thought these sandals would be a great fit. They are wonderfully supportive, BUT they gave me blisters on my feet. They don't come in a wide. I really don't understand why I need a wide if I don't wear a wide in the tennis shoe. I ordered six pairs and now I have to return them all. I'm very disappointed. I'm going to try and order one pair of the other style and see if it works out. I hope it does.

I use them for recovery after a long walk. The back of the shoe touches the my heel top. But other than that it's a good shoe.

This is the best support I've ever had. I had a tendon replacement surgery for an injury and my foot started hurting again but when I wear this I can walk with no pain. I feel more supported than ever and these honestly changed my life. I can't imagine standing or walking without these or my Bondi 8s. I wear these inside and the Bondis outside. I'm hooked on Hoka for life.

I love the shoes, but I ordered up a half size and they're too big. I'm not about to send them back, because I can wear them around the house with socks, but I'm going to order the half size down and hope for the best.

My Podiatrist recommendation, to be worn all the time at home; no more bare feet. I have a bunion which is causing collateral damage to my foot, these slides help a lot because they support my arch and heel.

I returned these within a couple of days after receiving them. That was 30 days ago and have not been given my refund yet. I have spoken to customer service twice and was told it could take up to 30 days for my refund. WHY? This will be my last experience with Zappos.

These slippers are amazing!!! My second pair of Hoka slides. Can't go wrong! They're super comfortable, cushy and very well designed (orthopedically). 5* all the way! My regular shoe size is 10.5 but I ordered size 11 (men's) Happy as a clam! Highly recommend!

I bought these recovery sandals for my niece. I have a pair myself and they feel so good on my feet, I knew she'd like them. When I get home from my day, I immediately put these on and my feet feel great!

I absolutely loved the older generation of recovery slides. They cured my plantar fasciitis that had been plaguing me for over 3 years! I have recommended them to everyone who mentions heel pain and over 10 friends have bought them. That said, I can no longer recommend the new version. They are terrible. Way too narrow (I don't have wide feet), the heel cup is uncomfortable, they are too short, not as squishy. I tried two different sizes and both were uncomfortable for different reasons. I ended up finding an older generation pair online and am anxiously awaiting their arrival. Why ruin a great thing, Hoka?

This footbed has been a god send to a metatarsal and plantar fasciitis issue. Tried the thong style but kept breaking. The slide is holding up fine. Runs small so size up.

I love the fit I love the comfort just feels a little too tall because I'm already tall. However, it would be nice to make this in different levels of height. A little lower on the bottom would be great. I wouldn't feel so high. Otherwise, it's the best one I've tried yet it's got the curved arch the perfect fit. I love them.!
