The top strap was so large it didn't touch my foot when I put it on. I do have a narrow foot but these are clearly built for big feet.

Would have preferred ordering womens style not all gender. Top of shoe too wide, wanted something for after a surgery and not sure it will work. Also, after I inputted info for M9/W11 size was recommended, I went with a smaller size M8/W10 and it was still big.

This is my third year wearing Hoka sandals. I put them on as soon as it is warm enough and that's about all I wear until the fall. My podiatrist recommenced them and I have had practically no pain since I began wearing these, as well as Hoka sneakers in colder weather. This last pair confused me. The color I ordered seemed to be a different dye lot and is more pink than beet red, which is disappointing. and I ordered my regular size which were two big. Hoka was great about the exchange and I got the smaller size within a few days.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended these shoes and so I was eager for them to work. I loved the color options but the straps were far too loose—or large. Unless both your feet are very swollen—or fat—there really is no way the strap works to hold in your foot. I first ordered a smaller size but even that didn’t work. Alas.

This recovery sandal is not designed for a narrow foot. The sizing was off, too long. The top of the slide was very loose and my feet were sliding This may work for someone with wider feet. Love Zappos, they make everything easy from ordering to returning.
I'd also recommend:
Keen, Cloud, Hoka sneakers.

I struggle to find comfortable footwear due to my Fred Flintstone feet. The Hoka Ora Recovery Slide is so comfortable that I feel like I died and went to heaven.

After trying my husband sandals I knew I had to buy a pair for myself. I bought the size that the chart said it was the right one for me, however I had to return it and exchange it for a smaller size. I got the new pair within 2 days. I am very pleased and impressed with the company's customer service.

I have been struggling with PF for almost a year and the only way I can keep it under control and the pain manageable is by wearing HOKAS. I wear the Bondi 8 everyday and have several ORA Recovery Slides to wear outside and a pair that I only wear inside. I have to wear the slides inside instead of going bare foot. I cannot get out of bed in the morning without first slipping into my indoor slides. They have been tremendous in helping me walk with PF.

I knew it when I putchased. These are men's sizes I wear a 4.5 in men. One size spans mens 4-6 That is 4,4.5, 5.5, 6. They are terrible and the arch support felt like it was more like a block heel under my heel. It sat too far back and wasshaped nothing like an arch. Just so everyone knows Hokas are manufactured in China. Do i like Hoka shoes, yes, but these are awful. Hika will be " improving" like everything else more cheaply made, more expensive. Make sure to try them and keep only if they are what you want. I was disappointed, because the Mach 5 is heavenly and I am not a runner. I just bought a Mach 6, I think it works, but not as responsibe and energetic as my Mach 5

They are really comfortable and supportive, however they run big. I normally take a size 7 and had to return them for a 6. They fit perfectly and I like the color

I'm in Florida so living is casual. I wore the Hokas out to dinner and developed blisters on my bunions. The rubber is just too hard.

I've been searching for a shoe like this for years! I usually would buy flip flops or another slip on. However after a severe injury to my foot years ago these type of shoes were very uncomfortable and I'd fall or hit my foot trying to walk in them. Then I found HOKAS!!! These are a dream! Comfy, cute, and super supportive!

I bought the recovery slide as recommended by my podiatrist he was relentless, I couldn't wait to open the box, I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, I bought a womens's size 10, I always wear a 10 in any shoe, boot sneaker etc. I put the Hoka's on & felt something didn't feel right, I wore them thinking I guess this is how there supposed to be, I'll wait till I see Dr Kim & see what he says, it was a few days later & he said "hmm, no there too wide for you & your slipping, try this other brand" , do your Hokas run big ???

I had to return the shoes as I could not get my foot into the slide. I have a high arch and a thicker foot and it would not allow me to even slide the shoe fully onto my foot without crazy pressure. I really wanted these to work for me; my son has them and swears by them.

I had the first version of these; really good arch, and SUPER soft heel. I also have version 2; flatter arch, and not quite as soft. Just got version 3 and it seems like everything is heading in the wrong direction. Hardly any arch, and the heel feels firmer than some sneakers. What a bummer. They had an awesome product, and then someone had to "improve" it.

The slide is too wide for a woman's foot, walked right out of it. The molded insole ( looks like a Birkenstock dupe) is uncomfortable if you have any foot conditions that require a cushioned footbed. I would buy the original Hoka One slide again, but this one is a definite pass.

My son told me that his podiatrist recommended these slides for him to wear around the house to help his plantar fasciitis. I have foot issues so I though wearing these in the house instead of slippers would help. I loved them so much I wanted a pair to wear outside, so I got another pair.

I had way too much space in this. Top strap sat above foot and did not hold my foot inplace. Base was comfy.
