These have been my "go to" and I own several pairs. Then I tried a different brand....not as squishy and I like the support better.

Too big for the size.

If, like me, you’re spending too much time in shoes with insufficient arch support (talking to you, Crocs), and if the exaggerated arches in shoes like Oofos are too much, then these Hoka Recovery Slides are exactly what you’re looking for. They’re soft but not like marshmallows, they’re supportive but not too firm, they’re as comfortable as bedroom slippers right out of the box, and your feet are going to love them. If you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and know that the first steps in the morning are going to hurt, these may be your solution. I love them.

Wanted to love these, as I love all my other Hokas. I usually wear 7-7.5.....Ordered a 7 and a 6 and they were both to big, and especially too wide.

I usually wear a size 6.5. I ordered this in a size 6-7 as Zappos (and my son's friend) had recommended and it's the perfect fit. There's not much extra room in the front and back so if I wanted super thick socks with them then I would order the next size up, but I usually wear thin socks. These feel incredibly supportive and stable on my feet - I plan to wear them inside as my "house shoes". It would be nice if the top part was adjustable as it's a touch looser than I would choose to have it, but just barely so that will be fine. They aren't the most attractive sandal, it's not like I'd wear them out to a fancy dinner (I mean, unless my feet were just killing me I guess!). I do wish they came in more fun colors, or had some two-toned or something fun! I have very high arches and these do actually seem to provide a little arch support, which is extremely rare for me in any footwear - not sure what that means for those who are flatter-footed, if it would be comfortable or maybe a little much.

I have been wearing these Hoka Recovery Sandals for a few years and now got my husband hooked on them. They are so comfortable that I use them as my slippers inside my home as well as outside. I have them in many colors. This pair was for my husband and so far he loves them. If you have tired or achy feet after a long day, these are the shoes for you. Highly recommend!

These flip flops (“slides,” whatever that is) arrived two days ago and I’ve worn them a lot. I’m recovering from a broken ankle. These are comfortable and make it easier for me to get around since I can’t put on a regular shoe. I’m 54, so, to me, these are super ugly, but they seem to be popular. I’d buy them again, and I’d definitely recommend them. I’m a 7-1/2 and sized down because size 7 sandals always work best for me.

The large strap across this shoe caused my foot to slip and slide. Too much room between the top of my foot and the strap.

Like other reviews have called out, these slides fit well in length and width, but the strap across the top of the foot is too loose. It works for me as I only wear them around the house, but it you are looking for something to wear around town, these might not be the most secure. Aside from that, the arch support is great and they seem very durable. They would be so much better if the strap was tighter or adjustable to the individual.

The most comfortable sandals for foot pain and plantar fascitis

I ordered size 8 first...it was huge. Decided to try a 7, this was too small. Toes went over edge in front. I will be returning. Purchased two more pairs for gifts. They will be tried on this week. If they don't fit they will all be returned.

Did not provide the cloud effect that my other Hoka shoes do.

These slides did not give the cushion and support of my other Hoka shoes.

Great slide just little weird looking

I love the fit of this sandal, and the support was better than most other shoes I've tried. After plus/minus two months of consistent daily wear, however, I noticed that my foot was sliding forward, resulting in my toes hanging over the front of the shoe while I walked. That may have been true because I do not have full sensation in my feet due to a medical condition. If no other reviewers have reported this problem, than I urge you to give these shoes a try.
