This is one of my favorite Hoka models. It's not too bouncy and keeps your foot stable. However, due to the waterproof materials used, it looks and fit much bulkier than a regular shoe. I returned and will try other GTX Hoka models.

The toe box was wider than expected. I had a pair of Speedgoat 5 GTX. The Speedgoats fit my width better; I will order a new pair.

I liked this shoe and the fit was great, but I got black/black and not the black/black 1.

I liked but it rubbed outside of my foot

Just received these & originally had 2 nd thoughts on the fit and comfort of these shoes. When I put them on they seemed quite large & stiff. After awhile, they got more comfortable. They actually fit pretty well, even though the bottom is quite flat & not cushioned. They are very different from the HOKA Mach 5 that I have been wearing. I’m keeping them because they make my feet feel quite secure.

This is my first pair of Hokas I've tried. I usually wear a 9 in athletic shoes and ordered a 9 and they fit as expected. They do have good cushion and some arch support. Before I go running in them, I have been wearing them around the house to get a feel for them. They seem fine, but I wouldn't say they are spectacular. They make my feet look HUGE. I compared them to my other size 9 running shoes and those looked about an inch shorter and narrower than the Hokas. It is definitely the sole that makes the shoe look so big. Not a real fan of that, but if they are comfortable to run in as I hope they are, I guess I don't care, but I wouldn't wear them for atheleisure because of how big they look. If you have small feet, then the size may not bother you much. Hokas definitely have some fun color combos, which is what attracted me to them. They aren't boring, I'll give them that. They are pricey, so the question is would I order Hokas again? I don't know, I think the jury is still out on that.

Very nice, as always with Hoka. The only issue is the length and width. I can wear them, and didn't return them, but I would order a 1/2 size larger for the best fit.

The color and size are perfect but the toe seems longer in the front. Sadly I am returning them.

The size is true to size. The material is absorbent. It wasn't what I actually thought it would look like but I still like them. I will continue to purchase more HOKAS for sure.

shoes feel great although bright orange shoes don’t match very many clothes

I got these instead of the Stinson because I couldn’t stand the color selection of the Stinson. The Challenger is good but not great. Supposed to be max cushion but the soles of my feet beg to differ. Ball of foot sometimes gets that numby feeling, not horrible but it’s there.

I love Hoka! I have these in both the non Gore-Tex and just bought this Gore-Tex version. I have medium to slightly wide feet, and they are pretty narrow. I feel like they are getting better as I wear them. Not going to return them though. The length is spit on. I wear a women's 9 to 9 1/2, and I order my Hokas I. A 9 1/2. I hope this helps.

I love and prefer the Stinson but I can’t stand the current color selection. The Challenger is good; lightweight yet sturdy. It’s described as max cushion but they felt a bit stiff at first and my Morton’s neuroma was a bit sensitive. After a full day break-in, they felt better. My only real gripe with Hoka is that they are not particularly durable. I feel like they wear out quickly.

Not cushy enough and heels slipped.
