I have worn HOKA for the past ten years, for comfort, support and balance. This is the first time, that I have not been pleased, I placed an order for white Clifton 9 and they arrived. They were so uncomfortable I will return them. Also I placed an order a day later for a different color and have not receive it yet but will be returning it also. The back of the heel was particularly uncomfortable.

These are SO good. I've been a Hoka wearer for years. My favorites have always been Cliftons but I've worn a few Bondis and the Gaviota 4's. About two months ago, after wearing out the Gaviotas, I tried a pair from a different popular brand just to do something different and was absolutely miserable. Finally gave in and got these Clifton 9's and immediately after slipping them on felt relief. I have severe plantar fasciitis, peroneal tendinitis, and achillies tendinitis in my left foot (had plantar fasciitis and peroneal tendinitis in my right as well but ruptured both) and damaged joints in my right foot and ankle. I work as a nurse on an excessively busy unit with very sick people and am, for the vast majority of my shifts, actively moving on my feet for the whole 13+ hour shift, from the moment I get out of my car when I get to the hospital to the moment I get back in my car when I leave. The Clifton 9's have brought me back to where I was with my foot health progress (that other brand was like taking 100 steps backward), are so responsive and light but have so much impact absorption. As someone with weak ankles and pronation/supination tendencies, these help keep me balanced and secure. They feel well-made and are sturdy without being heavy. They're worth every penny. I really can't say enough good things about them.

I am on my feet 8 hours plus , 5 days per week. My feet, legs, knees and back do not hurt and my body is energized to keep on moving! Love these she's!

I loved the feel and fit but for a very expensive pair of shoes they didn't last very long at all. The single little diamonds shapes on the bottom of the shoes fall off which in the end made walk uncomfortable. Fix this problem or make them alot cheaper and I will be back !

I bought these for walking. I thought they would help with my neuropathy. Unfortunately I feel like they make it worse. So uncomfortable!

love the color and they are so comfy but supportive

I absolutes love my Clifton 8s I got a few years ago and was excited for the 9. However, a few uses of my 9s revealed peeling on the bottom. I've tried super glue and cement and the pieces refuse to stick on. The quality of the 9s is way worse than the 8s which is super disappointing. I won't be buying another pair of the Clifton 9 if they are going to start falling apart within a few months after purchase.

These are the best shoes, tons of padding and great for walking. Please don't change the shoe. These are my new favorite walking shoes.

The most comfy shoes ever but also supportive. I'm 73 years old and have to have really good cushiony supportive walking shoes, these fit the bill.

I needed a good stable shoe with a wide toe base after foot surgery. Clifton 9's were perfect. The shoe is light and the material is soft. The toe area is wider, but fits well in the heel. I will mainly use these for a walking/gym shoe.

Im usually walking all the time. These shoes are a MUST! Light weight, feels like I'm levitating.

After wearing Clifton 9s for a number of years as my primary walking shoe, I thought I needed a change. So, I went with an up and coming shoe line that many were raving about. Well, I got my new shoes, went for my first walk and immediately went home and ordered a new pair of Clifton 9s. As far as walking, nothing feels better on my feet, my legs, and my hips, as my HOKA Clifton 9s. I will never go astray again!

I recently bought the Clifton 9 shoes, and they were the most uncomfortable shoes I ever wore. They hurt my feet and knees. I do not recommend buying them at all!

They are very comfortable beautiful color I be on my feet at work for at least 8 hours daily and this shoes are very comfortable support my back posture the pain on my knee desapear Thinking and get me another pair on a different color

I have 3 pairs of Clifton 9 shoes. I use one pair for walking, one for pickleball, and one for Zumba.

I absolutely love these shoes! I just purchased my second pair. Great comfort and great support. ALL DAY! Best tennis shoes I've ever had, and I'm 64 years old. Nothing else comes close! They stand up to my intense group cardio classes, jogging, and hiking.
