I LOVE my Clifton 8s. The Clifton 9 fits nothing like them. Uncomfortable from the start and they do not hit the arch of my foot correctly even after trying a couple of different sizes. Will be so disappointed if I cannot continue to find Clifton 8s.

I bought these shoes cause I work in a hospital and a lot of people wear them and love them. My first reaction when I put them on is they feel so good. But after my 12 hr shift my feet hurt so bad. I think the shoes are too soft for me. I have Brooke's and love them.

I had a pair of Hoka Bondi 8's which were absolutely amazing from the first time I wore them. I wasn't crazy about the thickness of the sole so I figured I would stick with Hoka but try a different style. Well boy was I wrong. I have tried several times to wear these shoes (Clifton 9) around the house, walking my dog and to work. I only wore them once to work for a 12 hour shift and what a mistake. My feet ached the whole 12 hours. I am very disappointed.

I'll never understand why companies take a great product with loyal customers and then change it so much and ruin it in the process. The Clifton 9 is not even comfortable. The toe box is different, along with some other changes. Returned. After buying Clifton's for years now, it's time to find a new company and a new running/walking shoe. Bummer.

I tried to love these shoes as I read they are the most popular comfortable walking shoe out. I walk 6-7 miles a day daily but not with these shoes, by mile 1 my feet were killing me, I would have to stop and scrunch my toes and wiggle my foot to try to make the throbbing go away. Not only did the shoes bother my feet I had pain shooting up my legs into my lower back. Switched my shoe back to my original brand No Pain

These shoes were marked correctly. However, when I opened the box they looked enormous and appeared to be the wrong color. (Supposed to be pink, but we're a strange dusky orang-ish.) I tried them on and laughed myself silly. It looks just like I am wearing my 6'4" dad's #14 shoes. Back they go. Thank you Zappos for making returns practically painless. You're still the best!!!

Not good ankle support at all and very over hyped brand. I do not think it provides good structure or ability to be agile

I've owned many pairs of the 8 and swear by it. The 9 was not the same in sizing and level of support/cushion. I returned it immediately. Very disappointed as I very much need a new one since the 8 is being discontinued. It's my lifeline so I can still function and work. I depend on my Hokas. PLEASE make the changes to improve your clifton 9. It is lacking. If you order it size down a half because it's not the same sizing as 8.

I'm on my feet all day long for work. I have to wear all black shoes. One of my co-workers swears by Hoka and highly recommended these shoes. First day worn, my feet and legs hurt so bad. The pain was equivalent to that soreness you feel when you work out for the first time in a long time. I thought, maybe I just have to break them in a bit more? Weeks went by and nothing changed. My co-work purchase the same in a different color and returned them because they were uncomfortable. Unfortunately for me, it was too late as it was passed the 30 day return policy. This was money waisted.

Men and women's feet are not that different that you make wider(wide=2E) and wider(extra wide). And nothing for women, widest is D. This is purely sexism. I have never had to even wear wide shoes, first make the shoes narrow to fit like a sock and then don't make women's sizes. My left foot is injured because I wore Clifton just twice. The toes are crushed in the part they attach with the foot! I have to do physical therapy!

I have 4 pairs of Hoka 8 and love them! I bought the Hoka 9 and very disappointed. The foot bed is narrow no give at all. Now have to look for a different brand in wide's.

I was looking for a sneaker to do lots of walking in Europe, but before the end of the day my heels were hurting and my back was killing me. With all the reviews I read and they were made for walking I thought these would be great. Not for me and with the money I spent I was really upset. They just didn't work for me.

Something changed!! I have multiple pairs of hokas and loved them! I work in healthcare and on my feeti wore them for hours at a time. They are NOT cushy, springy sponge back soles anymore way to hard and hurt my feet!! I can't even get through a shift without changing shoes. I bought cliftons and rotate my shoes, I cannot wear this pair sooo different. Tried another style and the same. Sadly i'm done for now with hokas

Do you make anything without HOKA advertised all over it? I've heard the shoes are very comfortable but I don't care for the brand name on it.

The Clifton 9 does not seem to be related to the Clifton 8. This shoe is stiff and sluggish and does not have comparable cushioning to the 8. The tongue on this version is also longer and rubs at the front ankle area causing constant friction. The 8 was such an incredible shoe, I'm not sure why the need make sure drastic changes. Returned to the store the day after purchasing. Please consider going back to the 8 version.

I'm on my 5th pair of Clifton's and have never had a problem before, but after only a few long distance runs the tread is falling off my new Clifton 9s in all directions. Love the fit and comfort of these shoes but very disappointed in the poor quality of this shoe
