Very good for running but not good for being on your feet all day, feet started to hurt after 6 hrs of wear.

Right tongue gives me so much pain on my right foot and I am marathon training with very lengthy runs.

I would like to see Women's shoes come in a wider size such as EE in order to give me more stylish options. I now have to order a men's 8 EE and the choices are limited

These fit great and provide significant support. Love the colors and how they look!

I have owned at least six pairs of Hoka shoes. The Clifton has consistently been my favorite. The new Clifton 9 is the best of all that I have owned so far. Great all around shoe. I wear it mostly for training and walking. The Clifton 9 has the best overall fit and cushioning of all the Hoka's I have owned. I am in between a size 8.5 and a 9 in most shoes. In the Hoka Clifton 9 the size 8.5 fits me best. So, I guess I have to say they run slightly big. In my opinion if in between sizes, choose a half size down. I highly recommend the Clifton 9!

It's definitely not as plush as the Clifton 8. I instantly felt more pain on my supination and my hamstrings were SO sore after a 3 mile run. I specifically bought the 8 bc of the supination. It sucks that when they tried to "improve" it to Clifton 9 they made it worse. I would understand if it were any other aesthetic shoes but hokas are supposed to orthopedic. It definitely defeats the purpose. Also what's the issue with the Wide? Why can't they make the same colors at the regular size???

are not as supportive or as comfortable as my 8's. I have been a devotee for years and always buy the Clifton--same size, same width. These feel so roomy that it's like I have flippers on my feet. Even my orthotics fit differently. I run 5 miles a day, 6 days a week and I've worn these for a month now and my feet are a mess (blisters) and my ankles hurt. If I could return I would.

these are the best shoes i have ever purchased! they feel like i am walking on clouds it is so comfortable. this was my first pair of hokas and i will definitely be repurchasing. i needed a brand new pair of shoes bc of the long shift i have at work and in general for walking. i had no pain whatsoever!

LOVE this Clifton 9. Most comfortable Hoka I've ever worn. Use it for my daily 30 to 45 minute walks. Wish the color were a more solid black rather than having the shiny light black lines on it, but not a big deal.

Not better than other running shoes but pricier.

Tried this on in a running store the other day and was very disappointed. Something about the way the upper fits rubs my ankle bone horribly. There's absolutely no way I would be able to run in these. Not to mention they just look like clown shoes on my feet. I was a huge lover of the Clifton 8 and will be stocking up before they are gone for good. I hope that the next version of the Clifton will go back more to the vibe of the 7 and 8 because this is just a dud for me. Real bummer.

I've been wanting to try Hokas for a long time. I have plantar fasciitis and tarpel tunnel in both my feet. These shoes feel great on! There is much cushioning in the front of the shoe which feels great! After wearing them all day though, my heels did feel a bit of pain. That is why I gave it only 4 stars. Over all though, I do love them!

i love the comfort of the Clifton Hokas. I recedive many compliments on them. I have recommended them to several of my friends.

I bought the Clifton 9 to help with heel inflammation and pain from overuse. They're my go to shoes now because they help to relieve pain when walking. Good support arch and bottoms for stability. It feels like a bit of a front-back rocking motion. They did run a little big and there wasn't a chart that I could tell to size for the width. So I had to return first pair and exchanged half size smaller and regular width. Even with a regular width, it's roomy more-so than other sneakers I've owned. They're expensive, but if they can keep their wear and help reduce pain, it's worth the cost.

This sneaker is by far the most comfortable sneaker I have ever owned!

Best Clifton yet, super lightweight and cushioned

These shoes in pink are so cute! They are super comfy and feel like you're walking on clouds. Highly recommend!

I bought these shoes for walking and teaching dance. I have bad feet and a bad ankle from years of dancing and need the extra support. I love the cushion in them. I am generally a size 10 in shoes, but purchased a 9.5 in the Clifton 9 after learning I needed a 9.5 in the Clifton 8! If you're using them for walking I would highly recommend these shoes. (Sizing review based on if I purchased a 10 instead of a 9.5)
