I love these shoes so so much. But the black really isn't black, it's more black with charcoal grey details, which I'm personally not a fan of. I'm keeping the shoes because they're so comfortable but I'm going to have to dye them with RIT Dye so they can actually be black. Hoka, pls make an actual black version of this shoe!! Thank uuu

I was diagnoses with plantar faciatis and walking 10,000 steps was painful. I used to believe brooks shoes were the best, however the last revel brooks I got increased the pain and caused a new pain on the top of my feet. I bought hokas and plantar fasciatis has completely gone away and top of foot pain gone too. this only took 3 weeks.

I walk early in the mornings and I love the cushioning and the support for my feet and knees

I love the stability of the shoe and the fact that it's not mesh. However, a triangle piece of my sole ripped off within 2 weeks with light use of the sneaker. I expected better durability for the price.

Walking

I took these to San Antonio and my feet, knees, back didn't hurt. great for long walks and trails.

This shoe has a lot more support than the Clifton 8. With that being said , it is been rough trying to break them in.

This is my first purchase from Hoka and so far the style is comfortable. I've only had them a short time, so I'm hoping it corrects some of my walking issues. I may try other styles on in a store, to find the best fit for me, as these seem just a tiny bit big.

They are so comfortable, like walking on a cloud! Definitely Live up to the hype.

Purchased these due to knee problems. They have a reputation for being the best shoes for support and comfort. I could have sized down half a size and I had someone ask if I got a pair of Orthotic shoes. I think it's just the style that I ordered. However, they are very comfortable.

Feels like I'm walking on a cloud. Glad I got the shoes. Will be getting a second pair .

I used to wear Oofos but I was disappointed with the way the soles wore out very quickly so I decided to try Hoka's because I heard they were very comfortable. I've not been able to find a sneaker that didn't hurt the balls of my feet until now. I just made my second purchase - the recovery slip on. If it's anything like this sneaker, I am going to love it!!

This shoe feels like you are walking on a cloud! It is so comfortable and I have plantar fasciitis and these are the Answer to helping relieve the pain!

I have had foot issues my entire life. I recently moved to a walkable city and that only made the issues worse. However, after getting a pair of hokas, I was finally able to walk long distances with little pain. I will be buying more!!

I'm a nurse and these are fabulous for those 12 hour shifts! My feet are happy!

I have neuropathy in my feet and these shoes are great. I am able to wear them all day regardless of what I am doing and my feet don't hurt.

Comfortable, lightweight, great cushioning!

This shoe is so unconfrontable

I was very disappointed with the Clifton 9. The tongue is too long and it irritates my ankles on each side. I've resorted to only tying the laces halfway up so it's not a very snug fit, but it's better than my ankles hurting.

I was stoked to get these shoes to walk/jog in because I have knee trouble and hoped the extra cushion would be good for my knees. Unfortunately these shoes were very uncomfortable and my feet hurt every time I wear them for any extended period. It may be that they are too cushioned and/or don't have good arch support. Either way they are not the shoe for me
